Yeah, I did a few 30 pulls and even one 50-pull where I was guaranteed to get a Sugo-Fest exclusive trying to get Kaido, but I haven't succeeded yet either. For the former, one of those attempts was where I instead got my new Inu/Neko by luck, and in the latter, the Sugo-Fest character I got was Rocinante. I'm sometimes not sure why I'm trying so hard for him when I already have like 10 Kaido friends I can borrow and I have several really strong characters already, but it probably would be nice to have him myself and milk the inevitable gazillion Friend Points I'd get from lots of people wanting to use him.
Sometimes I have to remind myself that Rome wasn't built in a day, and there's no rush to get everything done right now, haha. @Kishido:

Which one did you say it is? The STR version that's him in his mecha, and super-evolves to be him in his giant monster-looking form? I've enough of a noob still that I don't know how he compares to other characters in general, but I like him pretty well! Don't have him myself, but when I'm borrowing a STR Friend Captain, he's one of my favorite choices.
I reached 1100 days today. It's been so long already. Feels like I started yesterday and I still love the game.
I guess if it wasn't for One Piece I have never started to play it in the first place.

Okay, the TM characters.
There's several different levels of quality of the ones on Global.
Right now, I'd say the most useful ones are Christmas Nami (her special can often take the spot of multiple characters), Law (good special and has great support so he can remove quite a bit of bind and despair), Shanks (special can take the place of multiple characters and can give you two chances to reset orbs), Jack (fantastic special), Ener (fantastic for Buggy teams or speed clearing easy content if you don't have Kaido or Kaido FC), Ace (good TM captain with not too hard to fill requirements), Big Mom (useful special but really needs somebody who manipulate G orbs to shine; great on Ace teams if you use her first), Weevil (good special and support), Whitebeard (great special), and Luffy (good special).
The rest are mostly dependent on your box. Smoothie/Oven is useful for speed-running content. TM Kizaru can be useful if you lack a really good Free Spirit ATK booster and Sabo is a solid Cerebral sub. Shanks/Beckman is better if you have multiple turn Orb/ATK boosters to use the previous turn. Blackbeard is the same way. Crocodile is a good sub for Buggy on more difficult content, Cavendish is solid enough as a Driven sub or Captain, Boa is pretty much designed to be used with Capone (that said, she has a really good if conditional special that can be used twice in a row), Halloween Nami is good but limited in who she can used with because of her special requirement. TM Kaido is probably mostly useful as a way to clear buffs and a heavy beatstick. Doffy is super niche and runs into the problem of having a bunch of other, better versions. Hawkins, Akainu/Fujitora, and Smoker are solid enough.
Lucci is pretty much the worst TM character; he really needs a Limit Break expansion to remove the HP requirement from his special.
TM Law really is a good value for tickets. I'd put XMas Nami ahead of him if you're limited on tickets but not by that much.
This is super helpful, thanks! I did decide to go with Law this time (and could only afford to buy and power up/limit-break one character because, since I was just in the East Blue League, didn't win a ton of tickets) because I was in need of more good STR characters as opposed to PSY characters atm, but I definitely wanna grab Christmas Nami next time, she looks cool! Really, even though I have versions of several of those characters (Jack, Ace, Shanks) already, I wanna take a look at their TM versions, because I certainly might decide to save up for those and trade in the ones I have already if these new ones are better.
I noticed that Halloween Nami indeed seems decent, but limited; seems like you'd basically need an all-Shooter team to make proper use of much of what she can do. Not to mention, again due to being in East Blue League, I was only able to get enough stuff to Limit-Break the first five rows on her (when she has 10-12 or something), so where I have her right now in terms of power, she's decent but not anything special compared to many of the rest of my characters, and with a longer special charge time than most of them.
