nothing is going to happen in the next 15-20 chapters. It's just going to be more talking about "oh I hate you so much doflamingo" or "we need to find a way to get to point A to point B" type of deal. It's been like that for the past 30 chapters. Oda just has a clip or slide of like 20 different fights per chapter. It's getting annoying.
Also, Fujitora sitting on his ass, doing nothing. Damn you Oda.

I wonder what Oda's plan for Burgess is. Since it looks like Law can handle Doflamingo, could Oda make burgess show up and have a fight with luffy? ( and ofc someone else handles trebol….like cavendish)
Be aware that what you are reading is a low quality photo photoshoped to erase the "recycled paper" look and redrawn in some places by someone in the fastest way possible to be the first. I read One Piece online all the time and I think I read it in good quality because I read a fancy scanlation and then I pick up a real volume and I'm always surprised at how awesome it looks.
Not drawn as well compared to other scans in a blatant way,not just because of the scanlation quality.

Bandana does not indicate anything. He didn't use it for Ryuuma and that was a serious fight.

Between obviously positive portrayl of pacifism, forgiveness, understanding and altruism with the flashback chapters and and equally strong emphasis solving the entire thing with violence in present time.
I dunno. It would be really weird right now for me if Oda were to go with the classic route of everyone beating their enemies in one round and everything being fine. This doesn't seem to fit this particular arc.

Not that it should mean anything special. It's probably a practicality. Sweat falling into your eyes can be distracting.

The arc or either Doulas story isn't even over yet. Stop acting so angry or did you not follow the plot where Fujitora was shown comprehending that it's not the Marine's place to bring order to the the problem of Doflamingo?

Well, it seems Law chose the dark side, even if his heart is in the right place. (This should go to Pun Piece.)
Gotta say, I don't see a peaceful resolution, where Dofla realizes he has lost and decides to withdraw with his men. He's too mad for that. And despite what I thought at the start, it doesn't seem like he has an especially awesome exit strategy.

I really think you're overestimating the supposed Fujitora vs. Doulamongo confrontation as a present event. Fujitora himself stated that he would deal with him at a later date.

I said in some previous post that dd is not going to be beaten until Ester, anyway i like that arc as it is and, even If it could have been better, in my opinion is one of the best so far. There is also a lot of material to be handled and i trust the man behind the pencil to deliver.
I don't get a lot of complains cause i've read again in the previous weeks some of the old arcs to refresh my memories, in retrospective i honestly couldn't find something better overall. Maybe some arcs were better in some aspects but i still have to see the end of this one to complain. A lot of supposed flaws point ed by somebody were addressed in the very following weeks and i see that happening again. To me it's just people growing and getting used to the story and oda and want ing to rush the story to see how it goes but i'm enjoying this ride.
I knew oda Was going to show the other fights and let law fight dd for a bit ( he always did that) and wait till the very end to the big fight so what? It's fine with me and beside that this very moment belongs to law after all this build up. It's going to hype even more luffy beating doflamingo. We also are starting to Know something more about the story of the world and all the new world environment, and i enjoy the donquixote family except vergo so i couldn t be more pleased right now.
Its gonna take a while but all pieces are going to fall in their spot.
I'm not a fan bot, there's a lot of things i would' ve done differently but i respect and trust oda and i take the story as it is, an epic, funny and fantastic story about chasing Dreams.

Get captured, send to Impel down and stay there until the plot requires him again is the one I like the most, he can even help Bon Clay escape from there to join Luffy once again.
im pretty sure the family will take doffy's unconcious body and escape. kaidou will show up later in their hideout and wipe them out. that's how kaidou got introduced.
This was a good chapter; I really doubt that 'shot' move is going to stop DD. I don't like that panel of Loa G kicking Chinjao; even if the latter is old, he is a pirate worth over 500 million. Lao G should NOT stand a chance.

This is actually great. Perfect solution. Robin can immobilize Bellamy without hurting him further, leaving Luffy to go save Law when things go sour.
Though I really would like to see a Trebol-Robin rematch. No idea how she would win without Haki, but still.

I knew it will happen once Bart and Cavendish got there. No amouth of flashy set-up will make Robin fight anyone, if there are two (three) other characters who can do that for her.
When I said so, some disagreed, and somebody almost opened can of worms called "Oda is sexist".

Just gotta say I'd love to see Doffy use an ability to control Law and activate his heart swap move, Law switches everyones hearts in the room Trebol going into the near KO'd Bellamy ( getting him outta the way), Luffy becoming a mucus pimp, Law in Doffy, Doffy in Law and then Doffy is about to win in Law's body… just to be knocked the F out by Bellamy in Luffys body. I gotta say this won't happen but fun to imagine, I can also imagine Fuji capturing Doffy )if he is defeated )and then we see him just burst into a wave of strings and disappear because they got a clone instead of the real one. i'm fine with a recap, because historically it's totally Oda's style, but what has me really worried is the fights.
I'm putting an arbitrary and totally inconsequential deadline upon Oda to have the 1v1 chapters totally ready to go by the time 2015 rolls around
what was really disappointing was the situation with Gladius. I already thought Robin, Cavendish and Barto were way too much for him, so I figured Cavendish would eventually go fight Trebol, but of all people to leave… Robin?? I'm speechless. Cavendish and Barto are just way too much for Gladius, so I figure one of them is going to leave sooner or later, which sort of sucks because I'm at the point where I think these fights should be solidified.
also really worried about the stuff with Dellinger and his crew. I just can't see Oda spending 4+ chapters on their 1 on 1 fights, which is extremely fucking disappointing because these characters totally deserve the spotlight and it's going to blow if they all get shafted by each having 1/2 chapters dedicated to their loss. and this brings me to another fear that these might not even be their final matchups (more buildup.. yikes), or that they might be simultaneously KO'd by some shitty combo attack between King Punch, Chinjao headbutting shit, etc.
While Sabo is there helping the citizens, Fuji is just there sitting on his ass lol

I made that gif almost a year ago… and I'm not giving up on it!
However, if Robin really leaves Dressrosa without a single serious clash (be it vs. Trebol or someone else) I will never mention her name again when it comes to fights. Never again. This arc had a bazillion possible opponents and half of the crew was missing (!!). If Oda doesn't throw her a bone now, after 7 damn years, he probably never will (until the final confrontation against the Blackbeard Pirates).
A Professor Layton with tits, that's what she will be from then on.

Honestly, after Rebecca's epic fail, I have extremely low expectation for Robin fighting. Heck, I think is better she don't fight. If she fights, lose and get saved, the chapter discussion thread would be an utter trainwreck.
It's best to think of her as a "non-combatant" of the Strawhat crew who only support the main fighters. She will never get a full proper fight.:ninja:

It's not that complicated. There is Law and he operates on basically abstract conceptions.

To be fair, it had already gone on for a while and he already had another fight toward the end of the last arc against the DD Family. In fact, if we're keeping score, Franky has fought more of the DD family than anyone except Luffy, Rebecca, and Law.
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.
