That'd be interesting and really fun to watch.. but they've already announced it as an "Epic Sci-Fi Adventure" sadly.
They'll make it work in the most hilarious way possible though, don't worry.

Oh no I don't think the blocks will be hopping.
Maybe the "eipic sci-fi" part is that the blocks is the enviorment! Imagine something like Tron or some bizarre reality (like that Reboot cartoon ) where the buildings are odd geometric shapes (or better yet- a group of shapes!) that float in the air but the mainframe that controls the anti-gravity had been overtaken by the big bad who is threatening to destroy the world so now the buildings are slowly falling and the good guys are having to jump from building to the next trying to defeat the bad guy.
…. well damn if its that it won't be as bad as I thought...

Turns out that Tron just may be based or inspired by the game Pong.
