I kinda touched upon this on the General games thread, I just do not play this, just love the characters and design. Shooters can only hold my interest for the full moon, and I already paid for splatoon.

Ashe looks really fun to play! Too bad i suck at DPS so i'll probably just play her on my second account.
I must admit i was hoping for more new content than "just" a new hero … But there still is this "social feature" that is supposed to be released early next year. Maybe a clan system, that would be nice.With Jeff Kaplan saying that they are working on 6 other heroes right now i wonder how many we will have until they say "okay, i guess that's enough".

He looks right up my alley. I already play support, so I'm ready to pick him up.

I will probably play him a lot. I'm a support player but it always struggled with the main healer role because while i am great with Moira, after 2-3 rounds of playing her i get bored due to not being mechanically challenged. I enjoy playing Ana much more but i'm not good enough to get the most value out of her and i miss important shots very often.
Baptiste seems like the perfect choice for me.
I'm also looking forward to the balance changes especially because i follow the overwatch league and i'm not a fan of the Goats-meta. -

It feels like the devs are doing everything right at the moment.
The latest balance changes seem pretty good, we get a hopefully fun and interesting new main tank and next month role queue will hit the live servers!Finally i get to play what i want to play without having to fill or/and lose because of 5 DPS mains in my team.
And according to Jeff Kaplan in about 2 months we will get information for another new feature/update. Which could be the rumored Overwatch PvE game (although they would probably save that one for Blizzcon).

I've been having a lot of fun with it! The game feels faster to me than before, and it's kind of nice going into fights without having to shoot at shields for five years before anything can happen.
The new reworks and new hero are all pretty fun too, though personally I've been having a good time with Mei more than anyone else. Feels more fair to use her when she can't just freeze + headshot, but at the same time she feels kind of really strong due to lacking falloff damage on her right-click and her ice wall essentially able to singlehandedly destroy aggressive enemy tanks.

I'm glad to hear the new tweaks are working, also I've always loved Mei, I like the ability they gave her in the preview for the new game, the one where she can turn into a giant snowball, I think that's great
I was never any good at the game because all I ever did was try and rack up kills, no team synergy at all

Also I haven’t watched the leaked Cinematic, I’m waiting for the official release, but I think the character is supposed to have Yokai inspiration, or at least Kitsune, so I can’t wait for it to release

Despite being pretty unhappy with the state of Overwatch, I played it pretty much daily from around the time of Sombra's debut until last year. That was when my brother, completely accidentally, damaged the wall mounting the shelf that my Ps4 was on, destroying it.
I didn't replace the Ps4 so I decided to download OW2 on my Switch
so far no luck even getting into the game because of long Que and then errors.

Yeah it's day 3 and haven't been able to get in at all. Getting through a queue just puts me back in the queue. This is D3 launch bad. The few people I know who've played were disappointed in the battle pass/cosmetics system too

yay, it finally happened!
I can now say that this is probably my favorite cinematic as far as Overwatch goes. Looks amazing and makes me really excited about the character. Which is nice because I've been playing the crap out of her whenever I get the chance this week and it's been super fun

Finally got in and have been playing the past couple days.
Of the new characters, Soujorn has been the most fun to use. Very mobile and just feels good to use. Junker Queen has some cool abilities, but I haven't felt compelled to play her much. Might need to try more, but feel like she's just not my type of tank. Kiriko just feels bad and awkward to play, and I dislike her design. She's just heavily cliched Japanese Tracer.
New Orisa is more fun than the old one, but it's underwhelming she's the only one with such a drastic rehaul. I think the only other one with much tweaking was Bastion? He feels weird to play now, especially with the 5v5 balancing. Which is horribly unbalanced. Mei not freezing with her frost gun anymore is also weird to get used to, but she's still op.
Everything else is pretty whatever. The battle pass is abysmal, and nothing about anything justifies the '2' in the title as it largely feels like the same game but more like broken freeware. They didn't even really update the characters' designs, everyone looks the same with minor differences to their hair. Not giving any money to Blizz for this one, but will keep installed a side game for when I want something mindless.

Got pulled in to play a little with a friend. Ignoring all the obvious terrible stuff;
I didn't get much tank time but the one game of Reinhardt didn't feel right. Didn't like the added pressure of being the only tank and feeling like I can't use his charge much; Felt rather boring too;
As a terrible DPS, everyone's increased mobility felt like it made me an even worse dps. Couldn't hit anyone much so I'd probably have to default even more into aoe like Junkrat or playing Reaper just so I can get close and shoot people point blank. Friends tried to get me to play the new one but I don't think I ever hit anyone with their charged rifle shot.
Healer/Moira was still fun though. Actually enjoyed myself in those games.

Been playing this for a while and a concretely say this game is dumb and not in the “fun” sense.
Between people abusing some of the broken abilities of certain characters like Wrecking Ball.
People shitting on you for having the audacity to play attack by helping to push up the objective instead of roaming the map for kills to then get yourself killed.
People whining about you for playing as a tank in FFA.
Teammates that make galaxy brain level plays
People randomly quitting particularly in competitive putting a team at a man disadvantage.
Competitive itself being broken which I’ve found out the hard way twice.
Rotating playlists usually having shit match types in the queue
This game is a mess from a gameplay and a design standpoint
