For some reason, the images on batoto.net are not loading properly. The website itself is fine and I can access it but the images never seem to want to load. I tried all my browsers and my laptop. It works fine on my cellphone when I use my 3G but not my normal internet service. So it makes me think there's some sort of internet setting preventing the pages from loading properly. Can anyone help me out?

I'm unsure what would cause something like that… try disabling all browser plugins and extensions maybe?
Do other sites like Mangastream, Panda, etc load images?
If in the end, you're unable to fix it though, I suggest http://mangasee.me/ , which is another very high quality manga site much like Batoto.

I had a similar problem with Batoto, recently. Literally no image would load on any page of any manga that I tried.
Came back several hours later without doing a single thing, worked just fine.
I don't know what it was.

I don't think it's the browser because it didn't work on my laptop either nor my cellphone when I connected it to my wi-fi (but it worked fine when I used 3G).
Other sites work fine.
Thanks for the link to another manga site, I'd really like to somehow get it back working though, I've been on batoto for a long time now and I always found it comfortable to peruse manga with.

It's been three days now, still nada.

Gonna assume it isn't software based since the 3g works.
Since the 3G works, it could be the wi-fi (unless it doesn't load on the Wi-fi at other locations either.)
Go into your CMD and use the tracert command, followed by img.bato.to , to see your ping relative to the image server (if you screenshot it, all that's needed is the ms ping, for safety of your IP reasons.)

Okay, here's the screenshot when I tried, assuming I did the trace right, it does not look good.
Unable to resolve target? :S

It doesn't work in other locations? Well, that changes a few things… Turns it back into a software problem that may be preventing your computer's wi-fi from communicating with the image server.
Try disabling your antivirus temporarily, to see if some kind of filter is causing the image server to be seen as malware for some reason. Windows Firefall should be turned off for a minute too to see that's influencing anything (don't know why it would block it.. but I've had stupid issues with it that has made me just disable it all together.)
If that doesn't work, use a proxy site to load it. You said it doesn't work elsewhere but it can't hurt to at least try this. (https://www.hidemyass.com/proxy)

Disabling AVG/FIrewall/Adblock was no good but holy shit, it worked with a proxy site!

That's just…. odd. Probably not the ideal solution you're looking for though... so I've got one more thing that might work to getting it to work again on your actual IP.
Reset your router and modem. Open the Command Prompt as an administrator, and type ipconfig /flushdns , and then it should successfully flush the DNS cache. If that doesn't work... then I have no idea past that.

Yeah, that did nothing. I guess use a proxy from now on but that would be inconvenient…
If anyone has some other ideas, it would be very appreciated.
Thanks for all your help though Galaxy, at least I have something workable for now :)
