This is all Ben Savage's fault isn't it? He was the one who got the 90's sitcom sequel ball going.
Can't Wait.
Really though, I wonder how it will be like. The original series was pretty good, (it could've used less of the cheesy moments, but eh) but what will they do now with the plot? Especially with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. (I heard they're not interested or something)

Definitely not something I was ever expecting to see. Cool.. I guess.
Just don't add that music you played towards the end of every episode. It was terrible
"Bob Saget" is "involved in some way"
That got a laugh out of me. But yeah, wonder what the plan is for this one? Sounds like a sequel with a fair share of new castings/replacement for characters (COUGH Olsen Twins COUGH).
seems bring old sitcoms back is becoming a thing lately
With one show though?
I just need someone to blame, I thought the pain was over. I thought it was all over.
Oooh I wonder what is next in the line of shows that will be getting unnecessarily reboots/sequels:
All in the Family (good homely racism that's effective for the 21st century :P)
Family Matters?
or heck, what we definintely need: The Old King of Bel-Air.

yess!!!
This is what we need
As the ONLY thing the olsens had going for them is they were cute, and they long since outgrew that….
I dunno. Just watching the three guys hang out and go on adventures with no kids could be fun. Not like Dave Coulier is doing anything.
But presumably like Girl Meets World, it's be one random cast member or another now with kids of their own... so what, would it be DJ and the guy who voiced Aladdin?

Family Matters never DID get that final wedding episode/season…. though Jaleel White has sworn to never play Urkel again for anything.
Saved by the Bell, except the cast can't even get reunited for 10 minutes, and they'd have to make jokes about Jessie growing up to become a stripper.
Naaaa the next show to comeback is Home Improvement starring AL
. . . . . . why?
I liked Full House, but I think of it as one of those sitcoms that will never leave it's era. It's soooo . . . . . 90s. I personally have no interest in seeing it. I have no idea how they would revive it, anyway.

Danny Tanner goes nuts.
And starts acting like Bob Saget. While the rest of the cast remains wholesome and stupid.
I'd watch that.

They could always make fun of Screech becoming a miserable and bitter jerk who fights former child stars.
If we are going to revive any 90's sitcom then there is only one choice.
WINGS.
Yep, I mean come on we had Superman, Green Goblin, Sandman, and Master Splinter all in one show.

Or this would be really good if they just keep the cast wholesomely early 90's and the rest of the world modern. kind of like the Brady Bunch movie.
…............. Is this Marvel's Fault?.......... Did Star Lord reference John Stamos in GotG and suddenly an executive watching that movie went "Oh yeah, that sitcom he was in was a thing... we should bring that back!".
In all seriousness, just... just what?...
I think I will enjoy tearing this sitcom to dust.
Is that even physically possible?
No, because at a certain point the pieces would be to small for him to hold with two hands to tear. He can tear the sitcom into confetti.
Surely there's something spelled out in the Constitution to prevent that from ever happening.
Considering how everything else is getting ressurected. This wouldn't surprise me.
Of course Jodie Sweetin is on board, she needs her meth money.
I went to high school with that girl for a bit, I don't remember her ever not talking about getting high in some way.
I wouldn't think most people would be up and honest about about how they're getting messed up doing coke or meth especially if they're taking enough it to where it's obvious they're doing it.

Always figured Stephanie would be the messed up one.

She has been, for whatever reason.
Sweetin is a recovering drug addict who began using methamphetamine after Full House wrapped, because she was "bored".[15] In 2009, Sweetin wrote a memoir called unSweetined, which chronicles her downward spiral of alcohol and drug abuse that began with the ending of Full House.[16] In one passage of the book, Sweetin discusses breaking into tears while addressing a crowd at Wisconsin's Marquette University—while coming down from a two-day bender of methamphetamine, cocaine, and ecstasy—about growing up on television and about how much her life had improved since getting sober.[17]

I don't get how people can get married 3 times and also divorce 3 times with the marriages always being shorter... DIDN'T YOU LEARN ANYTHING, GURL?!
shrug My father was married three times. Although his first wife died . . . . .
Well it's official now.

alright, that's it
I'm out
I think this is super cool and could work out. But I'm not gonna get my hopes up, except for JESSE <3<3<3
I don`t know how to feel about it.
Guess it might be interesting to watch it just out of curiosity, but even that i might not do in the end.
At least Boy Meets World had wonderful romantic chemistry with the two leads to carry them on as parents, and it sort of ended at a point in their lives where they were in college, married and on their own, and you could see kids as the next natural step.
Last time we saw the Tanners, DJ was still in high school. To go from that to full adult with three kids is a bit more of a stretch and a disconnect. (Also, by the time this starts, it'll have been 21 years since Full House, while it'd only been 13 from where BMW ended)
This is going to be… 40 year old DJ as a widower with three kids? (Sagat, Coulier and Stamos were all 25-30 when the original show started.) Who invites Stephanie and Kimmie to help her take care of them?
Well, its the same premise as the original show I guess. Kimmie will be in the Joey role as the wacky one I guess? So is Stephanie supposed to be filling the Jesse role? But Stephanie is the one no one liked at all. She sucked and just wasn't likeable.
With ocassional guest appearances by the old cast, but never the Olsen Twins!
I just realized both Full House and Roseanne had a kid named DJ.
Huh.
http://cbs2iowa.com/m/news/features/around-the-web/stories/olsen-twins-will-not-appear-on-fuller-house-kgan.shtml#.VWXidJ7nbqB Here's the latest update. Oh and have you guys seen how the Olsen twins looks like today? They don't look so pretty anymore
I just realized both Full House and Roseanne had a kid named DJ.
Huh.
it was the 90s. People thought they could do anything. Like name children DJ. And they did it a lot.
Well, it was a little less awkward than the dinosaur on Barney named BJ.
Couldn't we just get the new younger Olsen child who was in Age of Ultron to be youngest one now?

Gee Michelle you look awfully different, had some Botox injections and a nose job?

Gee Mcihelle we haven't seen you since you was a baby so you sure do look awfully different with this aging thing. Plus, with herb being part of the Olsen blood line, she could be a potentially what Michelle ended up looking like.

Yeah unfortunately that's the problem with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen:ninja:.
So, uh, Fuller House is out on Netflix now.
Did anyone else cave into the guilty pleasure.
Because I enjoyed it more than I had any reason to.
The nostalgia is there and I KINDA wanna check it out, but knowing Candace Cameron-Burre is playing the new main character has me wary to.
I heard its a steaming pile of crap.
I watched the first 2 episodes. I have some good laughs so far. Kimmy continues to be the best character of the series and she was the best in the original series as well.
Apparently initial neflixing has been good enough they've gone ahead and ordered a second season of this thing.
I watched the first episode out of morbid curiosity. It was… exactly like the old show, better or worse.
I rather like the new opening, showcasing the cast growing up. And was surprised to realize I'd been mishearing the opening lyrics for oh, 30 years.
Same sort feels I get from Boy Meets World's sequel taking place later with the cast aged and grown up, or Cheers cast members showing up on Frasier, or Little House on the Prairie season 10 versus season 1. It's nice to see the same cast having gone on with their lives, and the show striking the exact same tone like nothing at all has changed as if things just kept happening along the way. (Though Joey still being the same in his late 50's is kinda sad.)
I'm a much bigger BMW fan so that nostalgia carries me further, Im not likely to watch any more Fuller House, but it is what it is.
I watched the first 9 or so episodes now and I'm liking it for what it is. Will continue to watch it.
me and my sister theresa will watch this soon. we love Full House growing up. UNCLE JESSIE IS SO HOT.
