Surprised nothing's been posted on this yet. A boy dying of lung cancer used the Make-a-Wish Foundation to meet Oda and learn the ending of his favorite manga. Oda, who was apparently on the verge of tears at the boy's condition, did so, and the boy described it as "beautiful."

Any opinions on what this means for the ending?

Find this story to be…somewhat unlikely, though if true, it is a nice sentiment.

Very very unlikely that it's true. This site seems to be a "tabloid" website with tons of fake news.

There is definitely no "ti" character in Japanese (Hinati). There is only "Ta, Chi, Tsu, Te, To".
Sadly I probably would have believed the article if it hadn't been made up by a weebo with shitty japanese background.

I'm totally confused with that response! Is the news fake or true?
True be said, with the name of the kid being HinaTI, makes it seems really, really fake, but it can be just an error, and the fact that the place is not very reliable it make it even worse.
Disappointing to hear this is probably fake. It was so heartwarming.
