As for warning to all who buy here: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GUY BECAUSE ONEUP DOES NOT COMBINE SHIPPING. I've been buying from him for a long time, and he won't combine my items even after he's held hundreds of dollars of mine for over half a year. Unless he changes policies SOON, he will have lost another customer.

But there is just so much delays and we hardly get an update on what's going on unless we ask what is up. From his post I understood that he meant not the end of this week (which started on sunday 21st) but at the end of the upcoming week (which starts tomorrow). Means for me: Shippment of MOMO/Reb/Cav should be ready around the 3rd of October….but thats all based on the asumption that a week starts on sunday and not monday....Maybe Im overthinking this^^

Yeah I get that. I know that TGLS has had problems throughout the year. All started with the Lucci P.O.Ps at the end of last year. Just sad how this influenced the work of TGLS.
It always had been a good and reliable source (at least for 2012/2013). Probably to big for its own good - just saw the above written post^^
I dont believe hes a scammer I just think hes way to deep in with his heels now.As for Cav and the others: If they are send out and we receive proper tracking numbers until the end of the upcoming/this week - until 5th - then its fine by me.
If they are not send out until then - well thats another story…then there is the possibility of whats stated on mfc. -

And here I thought that 1Up had managed to sort out all problems since things allegedly calmed down here. I feel bad for his customers but enough is enough.

I had pretty much no problem with my Cavendish transaction. It's already shipped. Thanks 1Up, I appreciate and hope you can do it for other people as well ^^ I understand how busy one can get with shipping and handling all the orders by yourself. Keep it up!

I would like to get a show of hands to see who is unsatisfied with OneUp's service. He is currently holding my money, has had it for over half a year, with no product to show. I am currently drafting a formal complaint letter to PayPal, with the intent on getting my money back and shutting down his account and possibly his website. At this point he is just a scam artist. The more people who join me the louder our voice will be.

I've bought many figures from 1up ranging from full wcf sets and figuarts etc and all shipped with out a problem he's even went out of his way for me a few times he's never done wrong by me and he shouldn't be crucified if the supplier is screwing him yes I under stand its your money and you want it back but at the same time he used the money to buy your figure and the supplier has his hands tied

1UP has gotten me almost every request I've ever asked for, including restocking sold-out and limited items for me. I've never once had 1UP not deliver exactly what I ordered from him. Sometimes suppliers delay items and it can't be helped, unfortunately, but I sincerely doubt 1UP is trying to or planning to cheat anybody.

It's only natural from you to support 1up because you are not waiting half year or more for some people to get your stuff. The thing is "supporters" ( very few) get their stuff but not the others.
If you go read the gls topic on mfc, you can't honestly support him knowing people are waiting for various figures for weeks fo some to a year for others and that with zero communication. Or all these people are lie ?
If it was a handling situation, he would clear delay by sorting figures one after an other not by sending some only to a few selected suporters…
He claimed he changed suplier and now it's worse, every fogures in his shop is impacted.
Suport is nice but at some point you need to understand our position too. -

I understand wanting to get your money back and I'm sure I would want it back if I was in your situation. However 1UP has always been responsive to me and is my go-to dealer for One Piece figures so I'd rather him NOT get shut down.

Even if that was only happening to one customer changes nothing. Money was taken, order was not fulfilled. That is bad business, that is fraud. If he does not fix the issue then his business deserves to be closed down and further legal action taken.
I've never had business with him and I'm not really involved in this scene anymore, I just felt the need to reply because your post was quite troubling.

It sucks to be patient, but that's part of the collecting world.

Maxgoof, you can't compare expensives figures that are not mass produced to legions of POP or Figma Levi or GEM….
How can all shops be full of bargained Levi and POP but just for 1up there is no stock when he claimed he CHANGED suplier and that there will be no trouble... Not to mention he promessed lately to refund if he can't get figures in due release...The thing you guys don't seem to understand is that it's not that some people don't received their figures... It's just that some selected people like you get their figures when the majority get nothing...
Maxgoof, if only one figures was impacted, no one would complain but EVERY figure in his shop or so is impacted. Please just read mfc boards, we're not just a bunch of people moaning for the fun...
Gor god sake he even sent shipping invoices for Nami Mugiwara that is due released in February 2015...And deleting every question or comment that ask for answers from facebook, twitter is NOT a way to bizness.
If it's ok for people to order something and wait years or months then he should advise on his website " You 'll get your stuff someday, who knows..."

I am telling you. He is a scam artist and this is his exit strategy. He is just continue to pull in money and he is just going to disappear. I have already told him that we are done doing business and that I want a full refund on all my items. I have not heard a SINGLE word.

Except he hasn't said that. He is ignoring me and I am sure a few others too. As a business owner, you can't ignore customers when you have had their money for over half a year. You're comparing OneUp to bigger companies. As far as I know, OneUp is a little guy, and we go to him because his "little guy" status gives him flexibility that larger companies do not have. He has not said ONE word. Not even a "sorry this is delayed."
The fact that he continues to take orders is fucked up. He already cannot handle his current workload, yet he continues to take orders. I see this as his exit strategy. One day, he can just say "fuck it", and just disappear on all of us with our money in hand. His way of doing business is completely irresponsible. Sorry but that's unfair to the people getting screwed over. I have still not heard ONE word from him. That isn't the way to run a business. You can't serve 70% well and then intentionally scam the rest. That's morally, ethically, and legally fucked up.

The reason I'm in this thread is because I had planned on making a purchase from the Grandline Shop (the Nami Mugiwara Ver. 2 P.O.P.) but upon hearing about stuff like this going on, I guess I'll just miss out on her.

I don't even know why he's already taking pre-orders on her. No where else is taking pre-orders yet. I don't know quite HOW far in advance the shops have a general idea of what they're going to be allotted to purchase but it's not exactly ethical, if it already isn't forbidden by the manufacturers, to take pre-orders for a product that's not suppose to be on the market for pre-orders yet.

It is indeed forbidden by manufacturers to open preorders on items before the specified dates, but some folks just don't have any regard for the rules and guidelines set in place by the manufacturer. It's quite frustrating because I know if I tried to pull that shit I'd not only lose my job, but probably be sued for breaching contract and violating internet copyright laws. Oh well, that's life. xD

She will never be up on HLJ, she's limited. Sites like Kolektakon, Big in Japan and Nippon Yasan will probably carry her, though.

Ehhh I'm pretty sure she'll be one of the best Nami POPs. Also it's not really as hard to get her as it sounds.

I'm bothered by the amount her upper body leans to the side. Combined with the fact she's standing on one foot makes it look like she's about to fall over lol.

Don't worry about that at all. I have a ton of HQ PVC figures in most crazy poses possible, the plastic is usually made to handle that.

Yeah both of those have developed a lean for me as well, though Dofla always leaned. I have to push him against the edge of the cabinet so he stays straight (which throws off the symmetry but its the only way to do it). I noticed Vivi wasn't very sturdy to begin with.
Though both times when we had to have the house dried out from flooding, I don't know how well I protected them from the heat. It obviously stayed about 20 degrees cooler in my room than the rest of the house but it was still really hot and I noticed the second time around, a few cheaper figures experienced a little warping.

I've been watching this discontent go on for months (especially on mfc); this seems like it's beyond a distribution problem of the Sentinel Levi days. It's flat out dishonesty and a belligerent attitude to boot. I'm sure 1up was a good seller (and still is to some) but freaking seriously, get your act together dude, or take a break to sort through the unresolved issues.

I highly suggest everyone who has had trouble with the GLS to submit PayPal claims on all unfulfilled orders from him. I spoke with a representative, and the only way they will take action is enough claims arise regarding his shop.

I saw the website in all three states (stolen image, taken down for violation, re-upload of stolen image). This is undeniable and intentional fraud. Banned. Leaving this thread open in case people want to discuss how to complain or take action.
