Many villians are alive but which villians do you think are dead? Alot of people think Arlong is dead but I personally don't think a direct hit of Gomu Gomu no Axe would kill Arlong.

Bellamy might be alive, but Arlong is assuredly dead. He took a Gomu Gomu no Axe to the neck; in addition to the force of gravity, and the overall power of the attack (if I remember, a normal punch bent Arlong's unbreakable nose), Arlong was felled down from the highest floor of Arlong Park. Finally, the entirely building collapsed on his body.
Don't you lot think that, if Arlong were still alive, he would eventually come out of that rubble and kill the people of Coco Village? If the Arlong Pirates considered Arlong alive, wouldn't they try to help him out, rather than feel his wrath for abandoing him under that mess? ~.~;
Oda could excuse Krieg and Kuro from death for a variety of reasons; Jango's expulsion means Kuro is once again an active pirate, and is therefore being tailed by East Blue's marines.
Don Krieg lost his whole fleet, and those men still with him lack much of the faith they once had in him. In addition, all of Krieg's weapons, as well as his armour, was destroyed.
Since Arlong's power was entirely physical, the only way to permenantely debilitate would be physical destruction. I doubt we'll see Arlong causing mayhem in a wheelchair, so it's safe to say he was killed by Luffy.

Think about what Gum Gum Axe DID to both Arlong and his surroundings. Not to mention the Baradite. Even Arlong, a Merman, couldn't survive being pounded through 5 some layars of concrete/wood/ possibly metal. And then afterward, it all crashes down on him. He's definately DEAD. Dumb Eratikated Asshole Down.

I, myself, am pretty sure Bellamy's dead. Higuma's clearly dead, as well as buttloads of nameless villains from multiple arcs. The Baroque Works members could all be argued, though I myself am pretty sure Mr. 1 at least is dead.
Oh, and sailing into outer space is something I'm pretty sure Ener didn't survive.

Kuro…I suppose it could be argued that he's dead, but I don't think so. You never know, Jango might've hypnotised him to be super strong, just before the battle...
Don Krieg might be, after being, well, slammed into the deck at such a huge rate. However, he was smashed onto his back which, although it caused a huge amount of damage, couldn't have killed him.
I should think Crocodile's dead. The fall, more than anything, would have killed him.
Eneru isn't, that's for sure.

Usopp, a normal village kid, had his skull cracked by a 4 ton bat. I wouldn't put it past the second strongest Merman to survive that.
But I do think Arlong and Crocodile were executed. Long story.

And considering Don Krieg got up again all zombie-like after getting beating and screamed about being invincible until Gin knocked him out… It's pretty safe to say he's alive too.
And I think he confirmed Arlong's living in an SBS. Though, as Buccaneer stated, both he and Crocodile could have been executed.

Uh, Tashigi did. Right after the battle. Gave all big a speech and everything. And after that, Smoker was all like ''Tashigi's taking back the criminal, Crocodile'' and the Government was like he was ''subjugated''.
I dunno, but if he were dead that would kind of be like saying ''He may be dead, but that won't stop us from locking him up good, gosh darn it. Who knows what fiendish plots he'll unravel lying there being eaten by flies.''

With a punch like that+the speed he was going=Bellamy is definately dead. Well, actually, he was killed by his boss later on (past 161 apearently) when it was discovered he was defeated. It's really funny that Tashigi didn't noticed that after being pounded through 30 feet of concrete, then falling from so high, HE'S DEAD! It's painfully obvious even by Oda's standards. And although it certainly looks like the Officer Agents are dead, I doubt it. Except for Ms. MerryChristmas. Ms. Doublefinger and maybe Mr.4 are obviously alive after only that. I'm sure Daz Bonez is still alive, Zolo had just then learned how to cut steel. And Mr.3 didn't suffer much in the end, and after seeing all the things he did, Croc mightve been too confused to try harder at punishing Mr.3. Ms.GoldenWeek and the 5 pair are definately alive after seeing that side-story in the manga.

Arlong's alive and locked up I'm sure cause of anyone whos played the GBA game One Piece Dragon Dream it shows him Behind bars then later on he gets Hachi to fight you then he busts out and fights you but thats only in that game but im pretty sure hes locked up. I'll get a screen.

The key thing in Dragon Dream is Luffy lost his memory and you take him throughout places they had adventures on to reawake his memory so I'm pretty sure Arlong is locked up.

Now, I know Erik is dead. But, he had one of the more obvious deaths. Smoker and Tashigi mentioned that Zoro killed Mr. 1, too. None of the villains that Luffy fights die, since he's like Kenshin and Vash the Stampede in a way.

Well, I think it can play passibly if Arlong's alive but buried. If he's unconscious, so deep nobody sees the body, it might be reasonable for the Arlong Pirates not to assume a miracle's gonna happen, and scatter in an attempt to escape the Marine. He rises a few days later and is mighty pissed, yet not the threat he once was due to the disappearance of his men.
It would be a fantastic sidestory. I can see one of the fishmen pulling a Jango and joining the Marine, only to be told one day his job was to arrest his former master.

Mr.4 was hit by a missle powered hammer shot from Chopper's giant antlers. Lasso is a GUB. I doubt something like that can die due to being inanimate. Ms.MerryChirstmas, well, Ussop survived it. But then again, all Ussop got was a shattered skull while Ms. MerryChristmas got a permanate imprent on her face. Other characters have suffered way more than Ms.Doublefinger. She's not dead. And Mr.2 might've been captured by Hina, but she probably put a cage over his mouth so he wouldn't say anything gross like what he said to Vivi.

No guys you misunderstood the events in games are indeed have nothing to do with the anime or manga but what this certain op game does is revisit places that had events in the anime and manga and shows it in the now and then and Arlong is behind bars so im just saying if he was dead they wouldn't have shown him in this game.

I don't think the upper Baroque Works agents are dead. I mean in Miss GoldenWeek mini-story she was going to meet them in jail. So they can't be dead.
I'm not sure if he's dead, but I sure hope Shura is. Along with Satori, since his brothers were already "dancing" his demise and getting revenge on Nami (read getting their ass kicked).
Edit: Oh wow, I want that game. And is it me, or does Arlong look pretty smug/happy for someone who's behind bars.

I like how they don't kill off any of the villains. ^_^ It shows that the Straw-Hats are above pointless killing. Besides, there's always cute little side-stories that some of the villains get.
Is Mr. 1 really dead, though? I thought Miss Goldenweek was going to visit him along with the other BW agents in prison in her mini-story.
