There goes another iconic figure of my childhood…
Wat
This is really sad. I like him in a lot of his movie, espically Death of Smoochy and Aladdin.

RIP Robin
No fucking way…
Wow…. I didn't saw this coming. I really like a lot of his movies.
Well this sucks. I'm shocked, but trying to hold back my judgement for this "suicide" until more information develops. The guy's still younger then my grandparents….
Terrible news. You will be missed, Robin.

Word going around right now is he committed suicide because he was in deep depression, but yeah. I'd hold out for more concrete news.
Well this is saddening…
I'm so sad over this news. Suicide just makes it so much worse.
Fuck, that's just awful. RIP to a gigantic legend.
Dang. One of the few actors I actually tend to recognize over movies. RIP
One of the greatest comedians and actors of our generation.
Or rather:
Wow that sucks. My earliest memory of his work is flubber which i really loved as a kid.
This is shocking news, I was just talking about Jumanji with some friends a few minutes ago. Rest in peace
Dang…he was a legend. And definitely will be missed.
This is the first celebrity death I have actually cared about since Heath Ledger.
So sad.
This feels fucking surreal… It's one of those things you need to read at least three times to really comprehend. Dammit... RIP one of Hollywood's greats.
Jesus fucking Christ
I'm just in complete and utter shell shock right now… I LOVE Robin Williams...
Oh my god... no... This man was in a lot of my favorite movies from my childhood... my FAVORITE Disney Movie of all time... He even has the same favorite video game series as me... loved it enough that he named his daughter after it... Oh wow am I sad...
When I get home I am going to watch Dead Poets Society, Aladdin, and Hook (don't judge me, I love that movie)
I never expected to read this news ever
I feel so sad. I might cry irl
and Hook (don't judge me, I love that movie)
Who doesn't like it? I will slap them e_e
But seriously I might have to do some kind of Robin Williams binge this weekend.
Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn DAMN!
A truly a great comedian has been lost to us.
RIP Robin
Hook was great, don't bow your head.
I never expected to read this news ever
I feel so sad. I might cry irl
You're not alone. sniff
I remember a couple of years ago being at The Comedy Store to support a friend who was doing open mike when suddenly Williams came in the room and did a ten minute set. It was outstanding.
@Cyan:
One of the first things that came to mind for me as well. I was like "man… must rewatch Robin Williams: Live on Broadway."
That sucks. Was he bi-polar? His on-screen persona always made it seem like he was?
No fucking way…I'm in shock I can't believe it. One of the funniest men on the planet, just...I got nothing, no words just....damn damn damn damn damn!!!
That sucks. Was he bi-polar? His on-screen persona always made it seem like he was?
Yes. He had bi-polar disorder and depression apparently.
Damn, what an unexpected punch to the gut. What a terrible thing to come home to read. RIP
This is just terrible.
Try to find and watch the whole episode if you can, it's glorious.

Lucky bastard.
Holy shit, I can't believe it..
You're not alone. sniff
That makes three of us… I'm trying really hard to keep it together since I'm at work, but when I get home crying is bound to happen.
Who doesn't like it? I will slap them e_e
I was under the impression that public opinion had people who LIKE Hook being in the minority…
I'm devastated. Such a good comedian. RIP.
This is awful, Hook was a childhood staple of mine and I loved it. And I just rewatched Good Will Hunting not too long ago, and that movie still has a profound effect on me.
Agree, he got a lot of great movies. Espically Aladdin, Death of Smoochy, Hook, and Good Morning Vietnam.
As if this month couldn't get any lousier for me =(.
He was a fine actor, not always in the best of movies but the man knew his craft and was loved and respected for it. I don't know what drove him to suicide but…well we all have our reasons. May he rest in peace.
He was one of the funniest actors, but also a tremendous talent in drama. He was a humanitarian who always gave back, who never hid the demons from which he suffered (except for maybe behind his random often spontaneous but endless bouts of manic humor). He always seemed to be smiling but his eyes always looked to be hiding so much pain.
Good Will Hunting (one of my favorite movies)…Dead Poets Society...Awakenings...these movies showed sides of him that never seemed possible from the guy who sat upside down on his head in Mork & Mindy. Yet he made us believe every single time.
Thank you Robin for bringing us so many laughs and tears.
Nanu Nanu and Goodnight Sir.
Just heard about this news a half an hour ago. Tbh, I'm quite sad since he has been a part of my childhood.
I'm gonna miss him. ;_;
…........................................................oh God no....:cwy:
NOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Not Robin!
RIP Robin Williams , I will always remember him for his roles as Mrs Doubtfire, Alan Parish, Popeye , Patch Adams and the voice of the Genie..
Ugh, I seriously had to reread it 5 times. This is awful.
May he Rest in Peace.
I remember reading about his struggles with depression and bipolar disorder, but I never imagined he would go out like this. So sad.
I was at dinner when this came on the TV. My mouth was agap and I was speechless for a solid minute. One of the most shocked moments I've experienced.
God fucking Dammit! Take Bieber, Take the Kardashians, Take Michael Bay!
But don't take away our Mr. Flubber!
This Fucking Sucks.
It's weird I went to tell my mom and she was watching What Dreams May Come.
Which is coincidental on two levels considering the subject matter of that film.
My brother called me in the living room, where I saw CNN and a big headline.
My jaw hit the floor, jesus, ;_;
