The whip sword of Ivy is always the better choice
-
Why is this in this thread. Some mod rename this back to the Konami one and move all the talks about this Kickstarter to another thread.
-
They need more stretch goals
1.500.000 for multiple endings, including the bad one you always get the first time around for not meeting obscure requirements
2.000.000 Flip the castle on its side
2.500.000 TWIST! Flip the castle on its OTHER side!
-
$3,000,000 Crushing depression that the game you thought you were funding isn't the game they are making.
$3,500,000 New Playable character
-
My eyes can't decide if I'm really really into the artstyle or if it's kind of ugly weeiiiiiiird.
Maybe because it still feels very unpolished but they're not final concepts anyway it seems. -

What has Konami done for you recently?
What has Iga done recently?
There you go.
Besides, it was only a Konami thread for like a week anyway, mostly for everyone to go "WTF". This is a much better and a more sustainable thread as it is now.
-
Yeah. Unlike Capcom or Squenix who regularly output games and ergo questionable choices that do not necessarily benefit the player, Konami's implosion of its video game franchises other than in gambling machines isn't something that needs its own thread (which is kinda why the Silent Hills thread was imploded to make the wtf konami thread)
It's staying.

http://www.geeksnack.com/2015/05/12…d-license-check-may-affect-whole-psn-library/
“Twitter user pacifist_elk has recently confirmed that keeping the P.T. demo on a PlayStation 4 console may end up locking the whole PSN library of the user. Since the license has been removed from PSN, the usual license check will fail, locking the user out from his full PSN library. Even deleting P.T. from the console isn’t enough to prevent this from happening. If you’re among those who have downloaded P.T. you’d better keep your PlayStation 4 offline for the time being, as no solution has been found on the issue at the time of writing.”
I found this on Smashboards. For those with the Silent Hill demo be warned.
-
FUCKING WOW! Oh my god. So what, we can't touch our PS4's now?
-
Konami really doesn't want you to play that new Igarashi game.
-
I play a digital copy of Final Fantasy XIV. I've opened it and it seems fine so far. It's updating at the moment.
If all seems good, I'll just delete PT. This might be a thing that only effects certain people. I haven't played PT for about a month. Sucks because I never got to finish it. I didn't have a microphone.

They're colluding with the

This is the scariest thing that no silent hills could have ever achieved to do

Its the aliens, man.
I just know it is. -

Wasn't this debunked almost immediatly? Issue was psn backbone maintenance related.

Not surprising, but Konami have officially announced that Mobile is their focus from here on in.
Can only hope they sell off their interesting IP - suikoden, vandal hearts, goemon, castlevania, gradius, twinbee, snatcher, policenauts, contra etc, as opposed to bastardising them into pay2win and casino games.
-
Castlevania Mobile could be done well if it wasn't for the fact that it would be done in a pay2win fashion. Same for Contra and maybe Suikoden. Depends on how much effort is put in which usually isn't the case when companies switch to mobile.
-
Please sell Silent Hill off to someone to someone who will love and care for it.
Meanwhile, SuperBunnyHop posted a follow-up video. No new info, just discussing what happened after the first went up.

Well some of those have already been turned into mobile/slot games now it's just a matter of the one's that haven't following suit.
-
Can't wait to play Silent Hill pachinko. To be fair, it would probably still be better than Downpour.
-
Wow that is scummy as shit. I hope they go bankrupt ASAP

People focus too much on the business model of mobile gaming and not in the real issue, that just a touch screen limits what you can actualy do with the game too much. Buttons and keys as inputs are clearer because they give tactile feedback, you know for a fact that you pressed these keys, but with touch is harder to actualy be certain that you touched the area of the screen needed because either your finger could block the visual feedback, there are limited options for tactile feedback.
I'd like if developers focused on this issue (like nintendo and the ds and the stylus that doesn't block a lot, or the wiipad that shows feedback in the big screen) instead of the business model.

Both are pretty bad, though. I definitely do agree that the limitations of a touch screen are the biggest problems for me when it comes to mobile gaming along with actual game design, but the business model likely features prominently because for popular mobile games where casual gamers don't care about the aforementioned touch screen limitations, that's where the major hurting is for the major adopters of mobile gaming

And yet the consumer base doesn't seem to care.

And people bitch about because of how unconventional it is and being responsible for the system being a $100 more than it should.

Hey you know, Konami's been in the business for some time, maybe they know how to do mobile gaming without it being complete shi-
our games must move from selling things like “items” to selling things like “features.”
RIP Konami

I cannot wait to play Goemon on my tablet and/or mobile device.

@Cyan:
I cannot wait to play Goemon on my tablet and/or mobile device.
Or you mean play Goemon at all pending he actually gets a game and isn't thrown into more pachinko machines instead

That if it happens won't leave Japan either.

Kind of hyped but I will probably wait a bit before getting into this(like when they offer backer options after kickstarter).
I feel a bit burned with Mighty Number 9, I want to see more than concept art first before buying into it. -
They added that those who pledged $60 or higher get access to the beta
-
They reached the Classic mode Stretch goal and now have mini-stretch goals for new music exclusive to that mode. Two of which will be made by Jake "Virt" Kaufman.

Raise to 2,750,000 for Iga's Biggest Castle.

Seems like the 3 Mil stretch goal is a Wii U version

[@On:
We’re starting with eight, but our stretch goals will allow us to dedicate more of our resources to them. And yes, the person who creates that boss needs to be able to defeat it without taking damage. That is a hard Igavania production rule, and I’m glad that Inti Creates feels equally strongly about this design philosophy.](http://www.thejimquisition.com/2015/05/bloodstained-ritual-of-the-night-interview-koji-igarashi/) I wonder if it counts if they cheese the boss with whatever the broken weapon du jour is.

The Wii U stretch goal has been reached, and two more were added.

The Vita stretch goal was reached

Okay, I think they should stop now.
