Naughty Dog said they were making it but didn't want to start a thread too early, but during tonights live stage performance of key scenes from the first game the audience in attendance were treated to a concept scene from the sequel, so with that I'm going to go ahead and make the thread. A video recording the scene will no doubt pop up soon. Keep in mind that the stage performance were just the voice actors acting, no actual game footage.
Spoilers for TLOU of course:
! The scene takes place at Tommy dam one night 4 years later. Joel talks about how Tommy trying to get Joel hitched to a girl named Esther. Ellies acting fairly distant, probably conflicted about joels lie. Joel then said he has a special gift for her and busts out a guitar. Then he plays a special song for her. Then he gives her guitar and promises to teach her. The scene ends with her striking a note on the guitar
EDIT: Aaaaaaand, I jumped the gun. Word just came out that it was just a special scene he wrote as a
! Goodbye to Joel and Ellie and that it'll never appear anywhere outside of this event, he even asked people not to film it.
I… guess this thread will still be here when the game does come more to fruition, or delete it. I dunno. Shit.
