Bahamut 02 Favaro's horse is a better person than Favaro, he is the bro-est bro of all the horses. Speaking of Favaro, his seiyuu deserves an award. Not only is he killing it in a type of role he isn't typecasted in (normally he plays crazy maniacs like Kimblee from FMA: Brotherhood), but it's mostly thanks to him making that noise that the "face of the liar" gag, the one at the end, is utterly hilarious. I'm also happy that Amira turned out to be much less of a boring deadpan serious person than it seemed.
BTW, aren't we gonna have threads for some of these shows? We already have one for Parasyte. I know that the guideline is that the shows with relatively significant viewership warrant a seperate thread. At the very least, I think there should be a general Type-Moon thread.

Can someone tell me what makes Parasyte good? I read it 10 years ago and recall it being extremely mediocre.
Or someone agree with me so I don't feel crazy. Usually I can at least understand why someone would like a series, say Death Note, even if I don't agree with them. But I really fail to see why Parasyte seems to have such a positive reception.
I'm not saying it's bad, but I don't see what exactly people would find appealing about it. Everything about it seemed pretty pedestrian from my memory. No outstanding features, no memorable characters, no interesting ideas, etc.

It's about a dude who has to deal with having John Carpenter's The Thing for his arm and he and The Thing have to co-exist for their mutually assured survival as other Things prowl the neighbourhood.

I felt that the manga was good but dated in its art and whatnot. The anime doesn't suffer from this so I've been enjoying it a great deal.

Sanzoku no Musume Ronja is pretty adorable so far. Nothing amazing, but it sure can make you smile. Though "rice porridge" in europe in the middle ages? XD

That sounds to me like that trope where an entity, be it a magical cat or a naked girl who fell from the sky, recruits the character to wage superpowered battles against a given villanous force. I find similarity between that and Migi's and Shinichi's case rather superficial. Migi doesn't seek Shinichi's help in thwarting the Bodysnatcher-esque invasion of his brethren, it doesn't even care. It's a story about a guy sharing his body with a Sci Fi Horror monster and having to cope with all which that entails while also facing danger from other monsters. Parasyte isn't even a battle manga, despite featuring fights between said monsters. There' probably greater emphasis on random Parasytes doing Parasyte things than them having fights with Migi.

Psycho Pass S2 seems good so far. Really hope we get to see Kogami soon though, he made the first season much more interesting for me.

Parasyte seems as pretty orignal thing. As as start what we gotten is good watch though I expect that things will pick up soon and we will get to see more "freedom" when it comes to main character actions- guy is in super weird situation but it gives awesome potential to what can be done with such power as he gotten(for messed up cost though).
All in all if I am not mistaken its being made by Madhouse so same people that made for example Hunter x Hunter that I found to be amazing show in quality(beside source material of course, animation and pacing was for most time very good in my opinion). Given that I trust in this show being sooner or later very memorable and something that I will probably watch second time in future).

- YowaPedal continues to be awesome. As long as Midousuji is there, it will stay among the top of my favourite anime.
- I was reassured by the 3rd episode of WT. It's really faithful to the manga with smart little fillers and the action scenes are decently animated. Plus, the music and voice actors are great. I can't wait to watch the Jin fight. From there, the popularity of the anime should rise since it becomes more and more epic starting from that fight.
Judging by the pace, I'm expecting an anime longer than 2-cour which is a good news for me.

I agree with everything of World Trigger, except Music/Background sound being great. It is really misplaced majority of the time. I want to know who is the music director(or the position name of the person that choose the the music/sound and decides where to place it) and to go to Japan and slap him in the face. I really really hope that he improves or they he is changed for a person more capable.

God, I would have shoot her long ago as commander, not worth the trouble. She killed two recruits and a veteran captain and she tried to desert twice in the same battle. Can't imagine why she should continue to ride such a machine.I will not watch this anymore.. Scew this. I won't stay around for Yamato Jesus to arrive and whatnot. If this episode was supposed to make me feel sympathic for Ange, then that episode totally messed that up.
You guys can continue to have fun with Gross Ange, but I'm so out of it. My sanity is not worth that much abuse.

This week is set-up week. Both Fate/Stay Night and Bahamut slowed down and took time to explain some stuff and introduce more characters, they were still entertaining to watch despite slowing down, though, great presentation does a lot for both series.

At least it wasn't quite as awkward as two dudes talking exposition to Kirei while menacingly walking around him in a circle. People still joke about the first episode of Zero.

I did, too, actually. I've seen Fate/Zero, so I know how it all works. I'd imagine it's useful for those who aren't familiar with the franchize, though. Also, there were a lot of cool subtle things I liked, especially all the hints at Fate/Zero. So eventhough I knew most of this, it wasn't boring to watch. But yeah, infodump ep, but from what I know there's a crazy fight coming up.

Man Monday is such a great day, Midousuji's wild ride followed by Shingeki no Bahamut. Inou battle is nice, lighthearted chuuni fun too.
