With them cutting a lot of past content and focusing mostly on Whole Cake and Wano, the game as a whole felt more like a cheap cash-grab. Like they honestly weren't going to make it until another year or two, but then went for it anyway, and cut corners.

We actually know who the remaining ones are thanks to datamining. Kin'emon, Kiku and for some dumb reason Oden.
Moriah and Kuma actually have a potential issue with the way PW4 redid some things. They properly sized characters this time, where they previously downsized larger characters. Specifically Whitebeard, Jozu, Vista and Pasafistas are much larger. My guess is they had issues simply upscaling their old movesets into bigger bodies.
In general the game feels super unfinished and if you haven't gotten it yet and don't feel the need to get every OPPW installment, you should probably just wait for the next one.

Yeah, I do feel like PW3 was more fun overall. I still got PW4 because I really wanted to play as Big Mom and Dragon Kaido.

I got the new dlc. So far I only try out Killer, and he's really fun character to play. Smoothie and Killer are probably going to be the main characters that I play as on Pirate Warriors 4.

The third playable character in 3rd DLC will be Samurai !
We have Kin'emon, Kiku and Samurai (Obviously is Oden!).

Played the current DLC characters, and Smoothie is clearly the best. I love Cracker, too. The others are pretty meh or bad. Had no fun as Urouge or Killer, and Drake was okay. Judge was…I'm not sure how I feel about Judge.
I still think DLC in a game like this is a bad idea, though. Considering levels get harder as they go there's no real incentive to go back to the earlier missions to play as DLC characters. You have to level them to the current missions you're doing, and even then that assumes you haven't finished the game.
I'm upset they haven't focused on returning characters yet (I want my man Caesar!), or more DLC outfits, but instead all new characters, most of which weren't desired characters at all, or have lacking canon movesets. -

I can't really see them making a S2, but I'd like to see a Beasts Pirates dlc with Queen, Orochi and P1. Kinda hard too see later introduced charas.

This game is just what I needed to resist looking at spoilers. I only got to play the first game back when I owned a PS3.
I really like what they did to Crocodile's gameplay, making him fly around during his Full Burst.

Can already think of a dozen brand new characters that could be added in a sequel.

I personally would want a sequel that covered as much of the story that it can be in Warriors format then what this game did.
And actually have an ending instead of what they pulled with Wano here and Dressrosa in 3.
