What? You haven't touched the dream log? That's the best part, imo.
The story mode in anime games is always a hit-or-miss and even the good ones, like the one in PW3, end up being tiresome. I've read the story, I've seen the anime, I've played through it half a dozen times, I know the story and it's beats by heart.
Give me that nice Dream Log where I can just pick up my fav characters and wreck havoc. The main mission of each island may always be the same but the stage is random, the events happening midway through the level are random, the assists are random, it's just pick-up-and-play fun.
It's also where you unlock half of the roster, so if you're not checking it out your missing tons of characters.Btw, Dream Log is the same map for every character. You can change whom you're playing with at anytime betwen islands.
Ah, thanks for the info. Well, I'm certainly planning to play it, I just wanted to finish the story mode first. I was already curious how they'd adapt the story we all know into this format, and in particular, I knew they went with an original story/ending to Dressrosa and wanted to see/play it. I've finished the story mode by now, though, so I'm planning to dig into Dream Log the next time I play, whenever I get around to it. I also started playing Treasure Cruise recently, and I've been trying to get through my mountain of books that still need reading, so I just have to get better at balancing it all, haha.
