      Hi there! I've had ideas for AMV's for a long time but have never really gotten into the whole thing until now. Now that I've heard this really great song I want to try and finally work on making an AMV. Would anybody have some good ideas for software to use? Right now I have Sony Vegas but it's an older version, so I'm not sure it would work too well.

        AVIDemux is a good video editor. You could do AVIsynth too, though that's typing code out. It works well but may be a bit too advanced.
