@Nolus:
Well, for the time being, I just want to try a few things out. It it feels good and I feel like myself in those, then I'll go ahead and wear them regularly I guess.
@Panda:
I'm kind of glad Monk said it first, but yeah, I honestly have to admit that I wasn't really aware there still was such a thing as "men's clothes". I suppose something like a tuxedo, as Spec mentioned, at least to an extent, but in general, not so much.
Ok, that's a fair question. And a hard one at that.
uhm, I guess it's not about the type of clothes (pants vs. skirts) but the way they're made. Girls' shirt are frivoulous and often in colors that are give me an eyesore. Men's shirts on the other hand seems somewhat… simpler. Although they are starting to seriously overlap.
Women's clothes tend to stick to the body more. but I've seen men with similar "sticky" outfits.
Dangit, this question is hard...
I guess what I really want is clothes that aren't explicitly meant for girls/women.

P.s.: I'd totally wear a tuxedo~
Ehehehehehehe… wow, I didn't know this was an issue.
I have siblings of both genders and since I'm the youngest I've inherited clothes from both. No one cared. If I see a shirt/jacket/bag/shoes/whatever being marketed to the oposite gender, if I like it and it fits me I buy it... it's never been an issue.
Except for the fit since men and women biologically have the kind of measurements that sometimes don't fit the oposite gender.
I mean, sure, I don't know that many guys that walk around in skirts, (I know tons of females that hate to wear skirts and dresses) but I do know a few and their main reason for not really doing it too often is that it's really hard for men to find a skirt that fits the figure and looks good. Dresses are impossible.
And yeah, there has never been an issue with frills or colours either, and that's maybe because I live in a country where both males and females prefer to wear more subdued colours... hm... well... although I suppose... during my gymnasium years I attended a program with an aesthetics focus but both and we were a bit more... allowed to wear whatever the hell we wanted then anyone else... and we did go rather crazy about it... I remember insisting on wearing a top hat, even indoors. That was just wierd. Oh well.
It was fun though! Men and women should wear whatever they want.
At least as long as they're comfortable in it.
If you want to find trousers in the mens section, go for it. Tip though - the fit isn't automatically good so... if you just want clothes that aren't skin tight or whatever, buy some unisex t-shirts at your local maxi grocery store and some baggy jeans. Fits all. Especially skateboard/hiphop jeans, there were tons of us wearing those back in the days, same model of the same brand. Now I'm wearing dress pants for work and it has to be a bit more tailored but there are options.
EDIT; And oh, yeah. Women have been wearing tuxedos "since 1966" thanks to YSL (they did wear them earlier but it wasn't as... accepted, I suppose?). It's not too common, I suppose, but no one cares if you do wear one.
