I can't wait to see the bounties on all of the straw hats after this arc. At this rate, every SH will have a bounty, and those that already had them will have bounties that will scare anyone who realizes who they are.

Um, I wonder who or what shot Gomorrah? Possibly a marksman enemy for Soge King to face? Though, it's not exactly hard to shoot a thing of that size, might be just a Marine goon or something?

Back in Vol.11 there were a bunch of Marine snipers hangin with Smoker and aiming at Buggy's little "Luffy execution party" but they weren't firing no rockets….

well this place is supposed ot have all kind of equipment so snipers should be expected even though we haven't seen any yet=)
whoever it was it must have had a cannon not a rifle for it did major damage.

Well I hope for it to be a sniper because it would be cool if we get a "Enemy at the Gates" like showdown between him and Sogeking. What can I say, I love that movie and the current scenery at Enies Lobby would fit with it.

LOL, there that WTF expression on Blueno I've been waiting for. HA! Go Luffy! But aside from the fight (more of a warm up really) looks like the tide may be turning on the rest of Straw Hats, they lost one of their major strength and it looks like their numbers in Frankies and Galley-La is waning a little. Still anythiing possible and we got a long way to go. Can't wait for the next chapter.

If you have a HQ pic of that then you should zoom on the heads of Sodom and Gomorrah and look at how big the FF members on the cart are. It´s not much of a difference between the characters and their head to the size of "Leviathan´s" head to Luffy, Nami and Usopp.

But alas, the pace has somewhat decreased, probably because there's some "dialogue pages" between Luffy and Blueno.

Very nice to see some Galley-la action, and the part about Usopp was nice too. I'd hoped for more Luffy vs. Blueno though, but it's nice to see a cp9'er in action again, after all this build-up.
Still, I don't think the end is in sight yet. This is turning into the longest arc of the series (unless you count Alabasta arc as vol. 12-23), and the long arcs have so far ended with a climatic battle, complete with flashbacks, impending doom, and character reaction shots in the final pages…
In other words, I hope we have to hate Lucci some more, before the final battle, but since W7 is so different from the other arcs, it's undoubtly a wrong assumption. -

Wow, such a great chapter.
Although it looks bad for Blueno, I don't think he'll go down that easy. Seems to me that Paulie found some confidence in Luffy's and Nami's words, it's like they gave him a power boost. It's really bad that one of the bulls got hit, but I believe he'll be OK. And I must admit that I was really surprised at how much confidence Zoro has in his nakama and their strength. I'd say he's giving them a little morale boost. Heh, Luffy should be proud of his first mate, 'cause it seems that Zoro is doing a pretty good job. -

Oda is just playing with the minds of all of the OP fans. He knows everyone is speculating on the identity of the next SH nakama. As such he is doing little things to throw us off and keep us guessing.

I honestly don't think we see anybody new in these feel good color spreads in a while - you could think that these are like from adventures we haven't seen in the comic. Franky's not with them yet, he hasn't had time to participate on these adventures… or something. Yeah.

I find this chapter pretty disappointing. In "Luffy vs. Blueno," I don't expect to see 12 pages of Galley-La and King Bull shenanigans. That was like Toei showing Chi-chi struggling with a toaster halfway through a Freeza vs. Goku episode.
Kaku is far stronger than Blueno. Lucci is far stronger than Kaku. Logically, transformed Lucci is even stronger. If Luffy has to work against Blueno, then it's probably hopeless.

Buggy and Arlong aren't directly comparable. Lucci and Blueno have the same abilities, with Lucci being much farther ahead.
And the color spread was boring. You can only have the crew racing jackalopes on so many of them.

A sniper battle for Sogeking would be awesome!!! What would be even more awesome is Sogeking is totally owning his opponent at long range, so they try to fight him close range and Soge totally breaks out the dials and owns at close range too. Then runs off to catch up with Luffy for the final battle.
And it feels good to see Luffy confidently kick some ass again >:]

Where did Sogeking go? Maybe he's doing that "marksman thing" and went to a tall bulding for some serious sniping.
It feels a bit good to see a CP9 getting trashed, finally some "justice" has been served.
The scene when Gommorah (is that his name?) got shot and let the others go without him really made me sad. No matter how many time a similar scene happens in a story, I can't help but be moved.Zoro should drink more rhum, he's starting to get all inspirering again. :laugh:

As I said, I really hope for an "Enemy at the Gates" like showdown. For about 383 Usopp has never faced an opponent with similar skills to his own ones, so he would need some good exercise in that too if he ever wants to get to the level his father or Van Auger are.
If Blueno's this weak, then Kumadori, Fukurou, and Califa aint much either…..
Which would mean that they are perfect opponents for Chopper, Usopp and Nami. The big three CP9ers best suit to be handled by the big three Strawhats.

I'm not grumpy, I just didn't think much of it. 352, 357, 369, and 377 all had kickass, fresh spreads. The other ones this year were kinda forgettable, and I can't remember which chapter any of them came with.
Going by this chapter, I wouldn't call Blueno weak. He took what's probably Luffy's best punch and seems more pissed than hurt. What that means for a Rokushiki user, I dunno.

Wow. I abosolutely loved this chapter. I've been waiting for the real battles to start for a while now and they are finally beginning. Luffy is simply awesome. Always has been always will be.
