I really liked what Zoro said, and especially the fact that it was Zoro that said it. Despite his lack of showing emotion, I always felt that perhaps Zoro has a lot more respect and faith in Usopp than it appears on the surface.

You guys said quickly, but I think it's just begun between Luffy and Blueno. The first hit happened only because he underestimated Luffy, and the second couldn't have hurt too much. Blueno looks ready to kick Luffy's ass.

it didnt even seem like he was trying i think he thought it was gonna be as easy as the first time but luffy kinda showed him not to understimate them.

still he doesnt stand a chance against Luffy but im sure hes gonna put up a better fight than this when he gets serious.

Yeah, he's far from out.. Luffy usually gets knocked down by his enemies first and then makes a comeback, so now Blueno probably gonna have that. I still uphold the theory that he'll be teleporting Luffy away, only to see him again after some of the others have had a chance to finish their fights.

I have different opinion.

Although it seems like finally they are going to beat CP9 members one by one. But don't forget, they are at the enemy's field now. The entrance of the Navy Headquarter and Impel Down jail. It doesn't matter how many CP9 they can take down now. What it does matter is how they are going to get away this time?

First the Rocket Man is crashed already, now one of the giant king bullfish is down, too. Also there are more and more wound people in their allies. The land destroyers were taken down by the giant door guards already, and I won't expect other Franky family members could stand up forever at the end. Even the three Gally-La men might got beated down later, too. Which means at the end, when the strawhat finally finished all their current enemies, they will become exhausted as in Alabasta, then no one else can escape this time except someone big come to rescue.

It is hopeless. Lucchi is never a big deal. Thinking of punching him away could end everything will prove Luffy never think about that far and will be really in big trouble at the end.

BTW: Does any one feel disaapointed that Luffy can beat down Bluno that easily when even Sanji strongest kick couldn't took him down on the train?Does it mean that Sanji is weaker than Luffy so far same as Bluno is weaker than Lucchi? Honestly, I really hate that power level thing. It will ruin all the battle strategy or technique in the future. Sanji is suppose to be stronger, not like this!

Of course Blueno isnÂ´t finished. Crocodile wasnÂ´t finished either after the first surprising hits he took by Luffy. In fact he was still able to kill him another time after he took those hits.

Well I donÂ´t think that Blueno will kill Luffy or cause too much of a damage to him since Luffy needs to be fit when he faces Lucci. So the general guess we all had before that he will teleport him away is still I good guess I think. Especially if Blueno realizes that Luffy will occupy more of his time then he estimated, then heÂ´ll have to get rid of him fast and warn the others about how the situation looks like.

It seems like he's doing pretty good, I don't think the battle will last long. He'll probabley finish the fight when the other Strawhats arrive and they'll all go in together.

Nah, on the contrary, this is totally Luffy style here. More often then not, he's usually the one to throw the first punch & to set the pace.

I think the initial punch coupled with Luffy's immediate follow up with gatling gun, had Blueno totally on the back foot. I think when he used soru, Luffy didn't so much follow his movements, more like anticipated it & caught Blueno out, because he was weakened & soru was slower than usual.

I'd think normally when Blueno uses soru at full strength & pace, Luffy probably wouldn't be able to follow it, just maybe try & lucky guess his movements. Anyways, I don't think this will be an indefinite fight to the finish, more like maybe Oda trying to expose or show some flaws or weaknesses wthin some of the rokushiki techniques, to better set up later fights.

I'd be kind of iffed, if Blueno were to exit so soon. Seeing as he's far from the weakest of CP9.

Granted Blueno isn't the "end boss" here but the speed at which Luffy is disposing of one of the more developed villains here makes me think Oda has something special in mind, probably to sidetrack Luffy.

Yeah ok but I was just using Luffy as an example to show a trend. My point was about Blueno. And since Blueno is one of the more developed villains here (as opposed to, say, the giants who are just fodder to be beaten up) I don't think Oda is just gonna let him go down this easily.

Right, that's true. But what I'm saying is, Luffy's usually the one to strike or move against his opponent first in the opening moments, as oppose to the other way round. Like now with Blueno, being a great example of this. Though, whether or not he'll stay consistent with his arse kicking in this fight, is anyone's guess.

Awesome chapter. It was glad to see the Galley-la boys again, and that was a cool scene, but it seemed kinda like "filler" to me..

Seeing all these emotions on Blueno's previous stone-like face is pretty sweet, too. But I really don't want to see him knocked out, yet.

And I'm not surprised that Luffy was able to see through Soru. He WAS the one who read Kuro's Shakushi like a book and told him was a stupid move it was.

How can you be so blunt? Isn't it obvious that Sogeking is a cold-blooded villian? A man who could squash a child without a second glance? An infamous murder of the sea?

Sogeking is a cruel, cruel, monster. There is no way that someone of this nature would ever join the fun loving starwhats (along with Hattori). He's out for revenge no doubt about it. Just wait until next xhapter when they find out that its wasn't a cannon ball but rather an impact dial catapulted from his equaly heartless staff.

Something I've been wondering: is Tekkai (heck, all of the Rokushiki) the same for all of CP9? For example, does the fact that Luffy can break Blueno's Tekkai mean that he can do the same to Lucchi's? Or is it that since Lucchi is stronger than Blueno, then his Tekkai is stronger as well?

Well they all had the same martial arts training yet Lucchi can hit 5x as hard as Blueno so it's safe to say their tekkai will show some personal variance too. Dunno how outspoken though.. if Luffy's gonna have to hit Lucchi five times as hard as Blueno to break his tekkai then Luffy's got a big problem XD

Blame DBZ for the "power level," comparison complex; even a hint of a power level ladder tends to spoil shonen manga. =/

In response, though, I should say that (in Dungeons and Dragons terms), pirates have a Chaotic Evil alignment, where all characters live to profit for themselves. When chaotic evil characters band together, usually the strongest is leader (contrasting more civilized socities or organizations), because only a strong leader can bully the other chaotic evil characters into submission.

Luffy can punch harder than Sanji can kick, simply because Luffy isn't just physically strong, but he can stretch his arms and dish out a large amount of kinetic energy from a rebound. I should note, though, that the move Sanji used on the Puffing Tom doesn't appear to have been his strongest kick, nor did Sanji have much room to use the technique.

I should further note that Sanji, out of all the Strawhats, is, technique-wise, the closest relative of CP9; he uses martial arts and has super-human strength in his offensive moves. This includes his arm speed and power, even though Sanji restricts usage of his arms. Heck, he even wears black, which appears to be the attire of CP9.

Hey, what if Sogeking fights the three headed Judge? What if they meet in the next one or two chapters? Maybe that will be his big fight. (And maybe Bleuno will open up a door on the floor and send Luffy straight to all the rest of the CP9 members. Then he will go out and find the rest of the Strawhats.)

They have been rampaging long enough in my opinion. It's time for everyone to get separated and meet their respective big bads.

Wow…after reading what Blueno said to Luffy, I would be surprised if not every crewmember ended up with a bounty. Pretty heavy stuff. I really worry for them all now. "you have no future". don

Hm...maybe Sogeking will go free Franky and Robin, and they will all meet back with the others, with Luffy following last.

I wonder just how much the bounties will increase? We might just see all out war between Pirates and Marines in the near future. This attack is akin to an attack on the White House. Things will never be the same for our Strawhats.

The reason why Luffy could hurt Blunoe and Sanji couldn't was because Luffy is simply much stronger. All the Straw Hats get much stronger when enraged, but Luffy is still much stronger – and what we saw this chapter is NOT his full power, just him really pissed off and seriously focused on kicking ass.
