I got premission to do a tournament for American Comic Book Heroes/Villians.
It is the same rules as the OP one. But it can be from any universe, Marvel to Milestone.
You may pick 2 people max. Either villian or hero.
I choose Medusa from Inhumans and The Joker.

It doesnt matter. You can pick 2 heroes if you want to. Gambit would be a hero in my book.
Ok, I'll go with Gambit as my Hero and my villian would have to be…...Doc Octopus. I dunno, I really liked how the movie portrayed him. ^^

I nominate The Sentry (cause if I don't no one will) and Superman (cause I hate him and yet I have to see this match up) The alien powered by earth's yellow sun and the man powered by a million exploding sun's. It's gonna be great. Although Sentry will probably lose cause he isn't well known.

I'm gonna nominate Caitlin Fairchild from Gen13 because everyone loves a heroine who has a tendency to have her clothes tattered on a regular basis. I'll also nominate The Tick, the insane hero with nigh-invulnerability.
Hm, maybe we should PM those who didn't finish their nominations. 
I'll nominate Johnny the Homicidal Maniac from the comic of the same name because he's a crazy killin' machine (he made an angel puke for god's sake) and Carnage from Spider Man because he is also a crazy killin' machine who probobly could also make angels puke…..and their about the only american comics I can think of right now. :P

I have already nominated my two, but I am curious has anyone Nominated Jean Grey/Pheonix cause that is a powerhouse I want to see mixing it up with the likes of Superman, The Hulk, and the Sentry.
I wonder would Dark Phoenix count as a seperate enitity compared to Jean Grey/Phoenix? I wouldn't mind seeing Dark Phoenix mix it up in this.
I don't know but could you imagine the head trip if they were both in this tournament. Not to mention the fact that they could then compete against each other.
I'd be game for that, that'd be extreme. You know damn my fan-girl-ness and nominating my favourite guys, should've thought a little more.
