I didn't get a chance to really talk about the ep yesterday, since I passed out after commenting:
! Goddamn, that was the most intense action scene I think the series has ever had. There were so many great touches! I really liked how they kept Jack's footsteps audible when he was hiding in the temple; it really built up the tension in that scene. The way darkness was used reminded me of the shinobi ep, with the Daughters of Aku disappearing in shadow, and that moment in the dark hallway where they were fighting and lit only by the clashes of their weapons. That isn't even getting into the whole tomb sequence (punctuated by some incredibly on point music).
! I also loved the way the ep built into Jack's first kill. I know that his comments about only fighting robots earlier were tempting fate, but the way the action sequence made the Daughters seem so invincible just made the moment feel that much more unexpected.
! Speaking of the daughters, a lot of people are saying that Ashi is going to become Jack's ally, or will bridge the two parties. Maybe that will happen at the very end, but my thinking is that she might become Jack's most dedicated adversary. She was shown to have some humanity, but I don't think that's going to work on in Jack's favor, now that he's killed one of her sisters. I'm really looking forward to how the daughters react, since they were told to leave the weak behind and move on, but I'm hoping at least Ashi is shaken by this somehow.

I've been reading some comments on the episode, and some people have pointed out that the tomb scene is a direct homage to this scene from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, down to the music:
