Toei loves those nutcrackers (or rather "headcrackers") so much they got headlined in an episode title. Wonder how long this episode will stay with them. The last couple episode had some sizeable filler surrounding them.
Eventual pirate king Luffy about to be delayed by a bunch of third rate fodder opponents.

Decent art and mediocre animation throughout. The choice of filler was good though, and the episode was generally entertaining to watch. Next week looks pretty good. Tomita must really love animating Rebecca's scenes lol

Tried to watch the episode on YouTube on my phone, I always looked for the videos that were uploaded a few or less then that hours ago and so far I'm finding these videos having frames in them that the video screen would be small which is my personal eyesore, plus it'll be hard to read te subtitles. Might have to wait a few more hours.

Even though she's 16. God dammit! XD
This one was all over the place, and I'm not talking about the content here. Art & animation shifted in quality at the drop of a hat. Sometimes it would look impressive, otherwise it looked like it was animated in 1968.
The most impressive scenes were mostly in the second half. Violet's eyes had an unusual attention to detail and the colosseum fighters had some impressive looking scenes. Gladius attacking Robin & Bartolomeo midair also looked notably impressive in terms of direction and animation/art. I also liked the Usopp & Sugar scenes. Well done there.
However with the good comes the bad. The headcrackers often looked crappier than in any previous episode. Most of the scenes with Luffy & Cavendish looked notably weak as did the first 5 minutes of the episode. That scene where the two headcrackers slide into the frame after Gladius finishes talking was particularly laughable.
One really weird thing is that they added filler of Luffy doing Gomu Gomu UFO, except this time he's somehow able to slice them to pieces with that move instead of just knocking them around like one would expect. Sure, whatever. Didn't help that it didn't look impressive either in terms of art or animation.
Pacing-wise this wasn't an issue even though it only covered 12 pages, which is sadly the norm now.
Next week looks all over the place in terms of art too, though most likely with a better batting average. Plus Dem Diamante lips….
That long pause at the end, they made it seem like Luffy was considering whether to leave it to Robin or not. It might be minor but it pisses me off.

He's at least two episodes away from shooting; are they saying Violet will just be talking to him the entire time?
Episode loses major points for fabricating a shitty cliffhanger when the manga provides not one but two amazing shots to use.

For reasons unknown Toei switched the flow of events in the anime. In the manga, the Usopp scene happens much later within the chapter, after the Gladius face-off.

Anyway, I just now saw the episode. It was pretty decent, especially compared to the previous episode. 
I see the anime is still focusing on the important parts of the story.
Anyone notice else the bad audio editing right before the 'To Be Continued'?
Robin's falling screamed seemed unusual, art looked bad towards the end but next episode looks great!

These last episode's have been pretty damn good, hell there were some weak spots here and there, but nothing that destroys the flow of the episode

the close up of Robin's eyes near the end of the episode was awful in terms of animation.
