@King:
Enjoyability is subjective. Many people don't enjoy Kin'emon's old-fashioned sexism and Momo's childishness and entitlement. They're also not major characters for now.
Also, Law doesn't have a bland personality. Cool and quiet is as much a personality as weird and hysterical.
Exactly, while Law probably did get a lot of support from fan girls, but that does not explain Kinemon and Momo's lack of popularity, especially when Kanjuro's on the list.
Honestly, while for us western fans, a quirky samurai with over-the-top samurai values and mannerism might be funny, but in Japan, that's kind of a been-there-done-that. (I'm currently writing a paper on social transitions in Japan and totally procrastinating by being on ap forums… =_=") if we compare them two with Kanjuro, Kanjuro actually looks funny (Kabuki style), has a funny quirk (drawing badly despite his df ability), and seems to be a very kind person (always read to help others), but Kinemon and Momo have none of that, just over the top samurai mannerism that people who like us and other characters from OP who have never been to wano think are really funny but not necessarily so for people who grew up in japan. I mean, I get annoyed with certain western stereotypes played to death for humour value so I'm speculating that this may also be the case for some Japanese fans.
