I've seen Shelley mentioned though, which didn't really make any sense to me.
Chapter 750: "The State of War"
-
-
Here a secrete- Franky will go inside the factory thanks to Mr pink ability.
Unless the bottom of the factory is also a sea-stone.
-
Sanji obviously making moves behind the scenes that will ultimately decide the fate of DD … as per his usual thing
*Nami, Chopper, Brook might have met up with Law's Crew by now (or Nami bribed the Mom Pirates and now they're in a temp. truce)
-

People think that it wont be a big relevation for Fujitora if Sabo says that Luffy and Ace are his brothers.
-
People think that it wont be a big relevation for Fujitora if Sabo says that Luffy and Ace are his brothers.
Especially when they are really just very close friends and have no blood relation.
Technically Zoro as much of a brother to Luffy as Sabo.
Why their fond children memories should be in any way relevant to Fuji? -
Really Disappointed with this Chapter. I mean…. We should have Law-Doffy-Corazon Flashback!
And We have to wait for 3 weeks....I have a feeling Oda is trying to set up all of the 1v1's first. There are quite a few if you ask me. And so far only 3 are confirmed.
Franky vs. Senor Pink
Zoro vs. Pica
Luffy vs. DoflaTraffy and Barto probably will take on the other 2 Executive Officers
5 members of the colliseum fighters will probably fight the 5 officers on the second level of the hill, though i'd rather Robin and Ussop to fight again…God im still hoping she gets a fight. -
Sabo's going to be evenly matched with Fujitora, no one actually cares about the Vice Admirals, Darth will still be a petulant child about all this
-
I was wrong about Suleiman :ninja:
I feel like he's either completely ignoring him or trying to save him for some awesome scene
-
@Cyan:

Sure, I forgot the only every critisism that isn't yours is automaticaly invalid.
I would care more about your opinion, if you actually read what I write.
-
Im guessing Fuji is just using Sabo as an excuse not to follow shs/colloseum army.
That sounds reasonable to me, he cant be seen to oppose Doflamingo, but if someone stands in his way I have no doubt that he is ok with a bit of time wasting. Fujitora wants Doflamingo to fall as it will be the final nail in the coffin of the Shichibukai system, which is exactly what Fujitora wants. Most of the current Shichibukai are Luffy supporters now anyway and cant be relied upon by the WG.
-
The last page of a future chapter will be Burgess coming out of nowhere to punch Sabo
Then next chapter Sabo burns him to death
…..But BB avenges him and kill Sabo in Future.
Tough luck for mera mera users....
Then Coby ears mera mera LOL....
-
Liked the chapter, I'm expecting Sabo to be evenly matched with Fujitora going by his attitude, I'm sort of a Sabo fanboy though so I'd say that in any case haha
I was hoping for the Corazon flashback but it'll come around eventually. Franky vs Senor Pink is looking great as well, can't wait to see what happens there.

Fighting match ups seem to be getting set up now which means the arc may come to a close soon.
- Sabo vs Fugitora
- Zoro vs Pica
- Luffy vs Doflamingo
- Franky vs Senior Pink
Many other officers look like they will team up to take on Colosseum fighters. What an intense arc this is turning out to be.

Blonde Ace is no fun

Not exactly, we havent had proper 1v1's since Thriller Bark (I don't count FI or Punk Hazard) and for a short arc like that it took over half the arc itself. Plus there are flashbacks and I guarantee Dofla wont go down that easy.

cavendish will probably go aganst one of the other big executives, the color spread seems to put it on the same level of luffy zoro and law..of course it can just be a composition choice, but counting he also has hakuba with him,he will probably get a worthy opponent..sadly barto has been downgraded to rebecca's baby-sitter,and while he is actually going where luffy is,i don't think he will get any big fight..or maybe oda can make him tag team with rebecca against diamante..but he will probably be kyros'…now with a new leg from law

Probably, since most of the islands in New World are like 10 miles apart.

I approve of this.

I believe that Barto will get a good match up considering how powerful he is and his admiration to Luffy. I can see him taking on Diamante and winning not long from now; considering Dellinger seemed to be no match for him earlier. Hopefully Bellamy will get up and do something. The biggest wild card right now would be Jesus, I wonder what his next move will be.

One Piece is back, hell yeah!!
Dofla, look forward to your demise!! =D -

I am hoping it will be a 1v1 between Luffy and Doffy but with so many fighters on both sides the possibility of interference is great. I am only expecting a load of time wasting off screen between Sabo and Fuji, while I can accept that Sabo could maybe hold Fuji for a while in a serious fight I cant see him taking on Fuji and two VA's for long if they mean it .
We still haven't seen just how strong Zoro and Luffy have become post timeskip, I have no doubt that Doffy will be a severe test for Luffy but I expect him to win now that he knows about the puppets Doffy can make, not sure how much of a part Law will play in the fight if at all.
Zoro should not have any problems with Pica after the training with Mihawk, I would like to think that Zoro was able to match Mihawk by the end of the timeskip and if so Zoro will perhaps play with Pica a bit and make fun of him until Pica gets so angry he does something stupid as he seems to be a bit of a liability when he gets mad.
All I require from Franky is that once Senor Pink is beaten then all of Senor Pinks groupies switch to Franky.
P.S Where the hell has Burgess got to, will he interfere and if so in which fight.

I don't really see how Dellinger was no match for Barto.
They were in an enclosed area and Barto put up his barrier, which even the freakin' King's punch couldn't get through.

Amazing colorspread. Feels so good to read One piece again. Good showing from Sabo. I'm expecting a stalemate between Fuji and Sabo. I feel as though we might get a nice reaction from Fuji if Sabo reveals his relation with Luffy.
Sanji is with us in spirit. ;_;
-
Sanji! What are you up to?! Are you going to kick Jesus after he punches Sabo and have a blonde team up moment? Lol
-
What's that? We need to overly analyze the color spread as if it contains hints for the future?
Well, if you insist…
Alright, let's look at this thing. Who's in it? Well, it looks like the allied forces from the Colosseum that are going after Doflamingo. But... wait, there's a few problems with that. Zoro and Law were never in the Colosseum, so why are they there? Granted, they are popular characters*, on the forefront of the battle lines and are obviously allies of Luffy. But so are the Riku family, the Tontattas, and the Revolutionary Army. You might argue that they aren't important or powerful enough, but Kyros and Sabo are obviously big names in this fight, going forward. Why weren't they, at least, featured? The next thing to look at are the three "rows" of characters.
Let's focus on the front row. We have Luffy, and Zoro. Two powerful fighters from the Strawhats. We have Law, who is an allied captain, and has been holding his weight throughout the arc so far. Then we have Cavendish... yes, he's currently allied with the Strawhats, but he's also sitting with Luffy and Law as if they were equals. All of these characters WERE super rookies but so is Bartolomeo and he's standing in the second row.
Speaking of, the second row contains Abdul, Jeet, Moocy, Bartolomeo, Boo and Ideo. What links these characters together? Well, they are all bound by personal loyalties to one of the Strawhats. Abdullah and Jeet worship Usopp, Bartolomeo is in contention for Luffy's biggest fan, Boo's Happo Navy is subordinated to the Strawhats due to the will of Chin Jao and Ideo... well, he sticks out as an odd thumb as well.
The third row contains the remainder of the Colosseum allies, Chin Jao, Bluegilly, Suleiman, Elisabello, Hajrudan, Sai, Dagama and Ohlumbus. The people in this group are allied with the Strawhats for the time being, but with the exception of the Happo Navy guys, there's no indication that this might last beyond this story arc.
So here's where the speculation comes in. Cavendish will join the Heart-Strawhat alliance as an equal member. He's after fame and the spotlight, joining an alliance with two rising stars in order to take out a (actually all of the) Yonkou would seem like a good way to get it, and since he no longer holds a grudge against the Strawhats, and even feels indebted to Usopp, there's impetus for him joining the alliance. The second row consists of people who will become Strawhat subordinates. They'll be part of the alliance, but likely not as "full partners." Bartolomeo, Abdullah, and Jeet would never presume to put themselves on the same standing as their idols, Boo has already been promised as a subordinate, and Moocy is a bull who... probably can't demand equal billing. That DOES leave out Ideo, whom we know nothing about, and if I'm honest, this whole thing falls apart because of it. But I like him enough that I'm hopeful we see a lot more of him in the future. Finally, the third row are "incidental" allies, they won't travel with the Strawhats outside of possibly the final arc, but if they are nearby, they can be expected to help out. Elisabello obviously has a kingdom to run which means Dagama will be there with him, Chin Jao is retired, Sai "needs more training," Hajrudan is noted as being a "rookie giant" who doesn't seem to have a crew (and is probably going to get yelled at by Oimo and Kashi the instant he returns to Elbaf), leaving Ohlumbus, Suleiman and Bluegilly as outliers. We know nothing of them, and along with Ideo, they remain outliers in this little theory.
*This is the real reason, everything else has been a thought experiment.

I absolutely loved the chapter.
-
Señor Pink is so hard boiled~
I hope Oda doesn't off-panel the fight again. -_-
-
Aside from the set up of Fujitora vs Sabo and Viola's words about the WG the rest of the chapter was meh at best.
Oda should just keep Cavendish,Chinjao and Elizabello from the fighters. The rest are shit, they just drag the pacing more.
And yeah when there's no Luffy this manga isn't as good.
-
Really nice colorspread, hope we next week get a cover with "this is what is happening with this character" and not a request one ,its nice that Oda does requests for its fans but i want more story.
The chapter was nice enough ,glad that Rebecca got bit of happiness and i kinda want her and Barto to form a type of tag team.
Lol nice manners Robin.
I dont know why but i really those little diagrams.I wonder when will the flashback take place.

I really am starting to get worried about Sanji, been too long since we last saw him. Poor him, I'd really love to see what happened with the BM confrontation.

We'll see him once everything's been cleared up on mainland Dressrosa.
It's enough of a clusterfuck there already, never mind adding the escaping SH's and BM pirates into it.
A wise decision by Oda I must say.
-
Don't expect to see the other Strawhats (Nami, Sanji, Chopper and Brook) until this arc is concluded. This is all really similar to when Zoro and Usopp left for Cocoyashi before Luffy and Sanji finished off Don Krieg. The rest have nothing more to do with the arc and it's better for the group that they're away. Unless they somehow snuck pass Big Mom's crew and back onto the island before the Birdcage, there is probably no way we'll see them before the fighting is over.
Plus there are enough players in play to be concern with. I love how everyone is crying about just Sanji not being around (saying nothing of Brook, Nami, or Chopper), and no ones noticed we haven't seen Kinemon and his Kanjuro quest for the better part of 4 or 5 chapters. That's at least something that's going on within the Island right now… and will probably have ramifications with the series when they eventually reach the Wano Country.
-
So there's Law's key….Luffy must've dropped and bam, Viola picks it up.
-
as much as i love OP, this chapter suck big time. all the running, yelling, chatting….....wow
-
Also, second time one of Luffy's Big Brothers held off powerful Marines with a firewall, while Luffy was in a country to help out a princess.
-
I feel like one of the few who genuinely enjoyed Robin's (hana hana) net…
-
Decent chapter, enjoyable set ups for some pretty clear lines of story progression.
For everyone confused on Sabo being strong enough to face Fujitora, his position is literally the equivalent of an Admiral in the marines. He's the second in command, Admirals are second on the ladder (well third, if you count whatever the Pan-Fleet position that Kong holds is). It makes perfect sense that Sabo and Fujitora would be in the same ballpark in regards to combat ability. Sabo now also has one of the most brilliant Logia for causing large area damage to hold off the rest of the marine force, fire has the nice quirk of continuing to burn as long as there is fuel, Dressrosa has plenty of buildings, and plenty of air. (Only Magma/Ice would be much better for holding off a large group for a long duration of time, and both obviously are taken, with each having its own upsides/downsides.)
I fail to see how anyone can question Viola's logic. She doesn't trust the Marines because they are the enforcers for the World Gov't, she's been running with Doflamingo's entourage long enough to know that the World Gov't is the reason he's in power and allowed to remain in power. Now, Akainu may have some plans on changing this current enforcer only position (he honestly strikes me as the guy who would try to take over the Gov't with the military and have a dictatorship of sorts with the military, and him at the helm, though that probably wouldn't change the world's situation other than less pirates, as he seems pretty aligned with a lot of the World Gov't radical beliefs).
And as for Fujitora's logic. We specifically saw his boss say that they can't let Luffy and Law run wild. Fujitora's orders are probably pretty clear to get Luffy, and Law if necessary. Considering CP0's involvement confirms that the World Gov't is on Doflamingo's side, and Akainu has so far proven to be a bit of a lap dog for the World Gov't (he destroyed a ship of innocent people for their cause), the Fujitora is clearly not going to oppose Doflamingo even if he wants to personally. In order for Fujitora to achieve his goal of overthrowing the Shichibukai he needs his position as Admiral, to maintain that position he can't be caught opposing Doflamingo unless the World Gov't sanctions it. Does Fujitora care about civilians? From everything we've seen form him I'd argue not as much as he cares about his long term goal. Why did he take a census? Probably cause the he suspected something with Dressrosa's most likely fluctuating population/and cause he needs numbers to report at the Reverie. For now though, he will blindly follow orders. He says it quite clearly.
-

I believe that would happen as well. I reckon he might have been captured by the BM pirates and we'd find out what happened after Doffy is defeated. Like Dark-King mentioned above, we probably won't see either of the remaining SH's until the arc's conclusion.
-
this chapter was amazing
also, i was spot on about Sabo taking Fuji. The second in command of the revolutionary army should be at least as powerful as a yonkou commander, if not moreso

Baseless.
Baseless power levels arguments everywhere.
-
Ok, I read it again after the first time just to be thorough and here are my thoughts:
1. As usual, I find it very entertaining to see Luffy and the gladiators just plowing through the fodder like there nothing.
2. Just seeing Robin discarding or "de-blooming" (if that's the right word for it) the hana hana-grid ladder in order to drop those enemies was hilarious.
3. I find Viola's speech to King Riku quite touching.
4. Franky vs Senior Pink Round 2 I'm guessing. This should be interesting.
5. That ending with Sabo standing against Fujitora and the marines is so full of win!!
-
Worst chapter of the arc for me.
I mean I liked the panels with the Donquixote Family, the marines with Sabo,Franky and Kyros but the rest was….
The only saving grace of the dwarves/Riku pages was what Viola said about the marines and shit...
-
Great chapter.
We're still missing the whereabouts of : Burgess, The Funk Brothers, Bellamy, Jean Ango, Gatz
, and minor Block D fighters like Meadows.
-
Pffffft Viola pulled that key straight out of her ass.
This chapter felt like a set up chapter and an unnecessary one at that. I'm looking forward to Franky Vs Senor Pink though, that should be a fun fight.
-
Baseless.
Baseless power levels arguments everywhere.
Ace= second division Yonkou commander
Sabo = should be at least similar power level but would actually be higher since with the revolutionaries. Then 2 years trained by dragon (implied since he had the resolve to get stronger) and from his feats he casually embarrassed the 1st Division commander of the Black Beard pirates and Dolflamingo's top executive Diamante at the same time.
That's a lot more than baseless to say he is on yonkou commander level. If you said it was baseless he was at admiral level you'd be closer to the truth.
-

Well is Arlong park, everyone hates power level discussions but most of the newer members go for it. But u don't have to be that butthurt just because Sabo stands in Fuji way. I cants claim that they are on par, and in a 1v1 Sabo will probably lose. But i am pretty certain that he can clash with him for a while and perhaps hold him for the rest of the arc.
Thats not mean Sabo = admiral lvl(whatever admiral lvl means lol), or fuji < others admirals , or fuji = sago. -
senor pink is definitely a Franky opponent but I wonder if he will even be able to give him a good fight
when they fought previously Franky was holding his own pretty damn well and was still managing to lay the beat down on Pink when Machvise arrived as well
sort of feel like Franky would be better off in a 1v2 match against Pink and Vise instead
anyway, here's hoping that Franky's final attack is a huge Radical Beam aimed at Pink paired with him saying something like "you said this had no chance of destroying the factory, eh?" before it proceeds to demolish both Pink and the entrance to the factory
Franky seriously needs to destroy the factory; if anyone else takes his glory I am going to be incredibly disappointed -

All the argument that you use, have no logic value whatsoever, its only your personal opinion. Plus i can't take you seriously with that avatar.

I really am starting to get worried about Sanji, been too long since we last saw him. Poor him, I'd really love to see what happened with the BM confrontation.
Yeah it's a been long run without him, miss him. But I know he's probably being a beast right now. Sort of hoping we'll finally see Law's crew show up alongside the SH's.
Us "Sanji criers" still care about the rest of the crew. It's just that he left on such a cliffhanger. I just know he's tearin' shit up out there. You don't ask your captain for permission to "fire back" if you're about to get your ass whooped.
As for Kin'emon and Kanjuro they'll show up soon enough. We'll finally see what Kanjuro looks like and his side of the story. Kin and Momo will become more relevant once they reach Zou and then Wano. This isn't their part of the story. Their lack of panels isn't a bad thing here.

Where is Koala in all of this?
