I still remember the time when Morgan was a "Lieutenant" and Hexagon was a "Captain".

How dare you! Fujitora is most definitely doing something…. eating ramen!!
because when you need an admiral most you can always expect them to be messing around, aokiji would be lying about, Fujitora eating ramen, Kizaru would have done half his mission and then got decide to do something else due to his light speed ADD, akainu's the only one the marines can really count on
I know, right? No wonder they've made him Fleet Admiral. Red Dog is the only reliable guy around…
Hmm...
Well, Fuji most certainly won't be fighting Straw-Hats, if only because it would result in them being defeated, Zoro Fanboys not withstanding...
-
get ready to bend over
seriously

lol actually this fits franky's character
-

Red Dog is the only Fleet Admiral. Wisteria Tiger is just a regular Admiral.
-
Is it really called Hall of suits? Or is it Suites?
-
God dammit, Usopp, MAN THE FUCK UP already!
-
Pica vs Zoro, expected. (Hopefully Zoro will come on later to the story, and not end up with just this fight)
Gladius cool! Doflaemon AWESOME LOL.
I was just thinking during the chapter, Doflaemon is the best possible guy to fight Gladius, due to his ability to cut flames.
Luffy finally arrives at where Doflamingo is.
Now WTF, Law is conscious! Did they cure his wounds! Anyway that is great, because I want him to watch Luffy as he beats Doflamingo. And hopefully Law will make a comeback against Fujitora later or maybe not…
There is no way Luffy will wait till toys turn to humans, they are not even gonna turn as of now. Thus, I think Luffy will start fighting Dofla soon, and then Kuros will assist him in the end.
Robin turned to toy, now everybody forgot her, I hope Ussop realizes this somehow and goes back to fight.
I would just love it USSOP vs TREBOL! But maybe Kanjuro will help or someone else. -
anyway franky standing alone before all the marines, does that mean he had beaten senor pink and machvise?
if so then by now he's already beaten 4 of DD officers… man I love robots
-
Red Dog is the only Fleet Admiral. Wisteria Tiger is just a regular Admiral.
Well, we can forgive him for not being as effective as the other ones. He is just a Rookie, after all.
-
Goddamnit Usopp, use your spell.
I'm 100% sure that Ussop ate the pussy pussy no mi during the time-skip
-
The Hero is coming, can't you hear it?
-
Stupid Robin doesn't know how to Full Nelson.
-
Usopp was always one of my least favorite Strawhats.
He's probably THE least favorite now, getting tired of his shit.
-
That was one super packed chapter!! Very nice!! No pressure Usopp….........................but everything now depends on you...........
He better pull it off!! I want to see everyone's human form.
-

No, that wouldn't happen offscreen. Machvise's ability wasn't even revealed yet.
They're probably just standing there watching Franky go coco bananas.

Am a little bit disappointed in the strength of the dwarfs, thought they'd be a bit stronger than what they've show so far.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Anyone else think it a bit too soon for suger to go down can't see her been out next chapter.
-
Zoro's big drawn out fight looks like it'll be fun. Almost like some sort of old timey videogame lol.
And Kinemon's spot on Doffy impersonation just made the whole chapter.
-
@kuma:
Anyone else think it a bit too soon for suger to go down can't see her been out next chapter.
I'd say next chapter, but only if Oda focuses solely on her and Usopp.
-
How is Law concious? :S He seems to be able to take a beating on a similar level to Zoro and Luffy. So what likely happened is Doflamingo killed Kora-san, then Law retaliated, got crushed by Vergo, cried (and probably swore to get revenge), and Doflamingo kept a seat all this time for him? Really?
Awesome chapter 10/10. Kinemon & Baby 5 were awesome in this chapter.

Sugar being knocked out is probably pretty imminent storytime wise but maybe not realtime wise.
Oda will probably want to do one more sweep over all the different scenes taking place on Dressrosa and then come back to Usopp knocking out Sugar.
Then we get to see a real instant of chaos.
-
i see what oda is trying to do with usopp..but given usopp character evolution throughout the series,it just doesn't add up.Usopp already sweared to do his part of fights back in arlong park, and fixed his role in the crew at enies lobby..there's no reason to make his character downgrade this much…during this arc usopp was scared by pretty much anything and everyone, and now is running away from his duties...oh why Oda why?
@parklane21:I don't really completely believe that Momonosuke is really Kinemon's son. If he is, he won't have this dream of being a shogun one day. So I kinda think that he is some illegitimate child of the present shogun… but that is just me.
what dream are you talking about?
only time he said something like that was to answer luffy's clame about becoming pirate king.@120dgcape:Im not sure if Doflamingo is retarded and has amnesia or Oda forgot, but why did Doflamingo say "If only violet is here, then she could see through Law.". Doflamingo already knows Violet has betrayed them as he figured it out himself and was told.. Or is he having a tbt saying "I remember those days when beautiful violet could just read whosever mind i wanted."?
Help?
the second one.@Darth:
In other news. Bastille does nothing, as expected of navy Vice Admiral.
And Fujitora just wandered off.
Come on! They are high officers of Headquoters. Bastille should be at least as strong as Vergo, if not stronger. Fujitora is without a doubt the strongest person currently on island. They should do something. Anything.
there's no VA power level,so there's nothing to suggest that bastille should be stronger or weaker than vergo.
-
Doflaemon was easily the best of this chapter.
-
And purple guy just kinda walked off, just like i expected him to do.
Gladius power seems pretty interesting, maybe a bit slow in use, but with lots of uses.
And one has to wonder how powerful Kyros was in his real body. Everyone seems to note on how handicapped he is atm.
-

I choose to believe that elite from Headquoters is stronger than VA from G5. Of course, nothing concrete on it yet.

As i recall all higher level marines were trained at the HQ.
And if he was stationed in the new world then he'd have to roughly match the standards of an HQ Vice-admiral.
Even if G5 is a bit of a dump it's still a far harsher place than any of the blues, where ones given rank is three notches below a GL officers.
-
As for Toy soldier he might not be able to defeat Doflamingo but he might be the man to buy time against Fujitora.
Luffy would loose against Fuji in my opinion but after quite a lengthy fight- not some few pages curbstomp. Law was capable of buying decent amount of time against Doflamingo and Fujitora at the same time. So Luffy for me would be capable of holding off admiral, same with Kyros who with leg and with all hype he has gotten he can be somewhere around admiral level of strength at his prime. Now he has one leg and that surely is handicap(it would be a twist if Oda says he lost leg as kid :P ).
Ah also Kyros fight will be sort of build up for Shanks future show-off as person without limb can still be badass and fight with the top.So I expect Fujitora vs Kyros and Luffy vs Doflamingo. At that time chaos will somehow turn Isshou against Doflamingo and who knows if Fujitora would not be the one to KO weakened Doflamingo.
I still await somehow draw in Luffy vs Doflamingo. A lengthy nicely drawn out fight showing that Luffy is in league with Doflamingo with both landing some heavy hits on each other but without showing clear winner.
You're quite aware that the gladiator fights back then wasn't about blood. It became bloody when Mingo was King. And somehow, you manage to rate the champion back then as admiral even ahead the protagonist of the story who is about to beat Mingo to pop.
Amazing stuff.
-
I'm interrested to see how Kyros turning back to normal will work on the memories of residents out of Dressrosa. Would be nice to see his fame reached over the whole world and even the strawhats will know him.
-

they are both vice admiral of the marine HQ,vergo just got assigned to G5,much like smoker was a captain of the marine HQ assigned to logue town…

Hmm… you might be correct on this one...
But still, it's first real appearence of pre-timeskip VA. He should not weaker than Vergo, me thinks.
But on the other hand, they always do get short end of the stick...

Nice Chapter ….
Ussop as always
Robin has no contract that's make the things good for her
where's Issho (Fuji) ? -

To my respect kyros already lost to DD and he lost a leg too, i think he is even under vice admiral level

I don't think there's anything more important than ramen for him.

Suger??, applying to join MangaPanda ehh??
-
Hahaha Doflaemon made this chapter for me! And come on Usopp, you can't regress this much as a character! I'm just hoping that he'll become Sogeking and fire something in Sugar's mouth to knock her out…. Anyway Robin being a toy is interesting, I'm looking forward to how the Strawhats react, if at all.
Oh and yeah I'm guessing Zoro vs Pica is gonna be good, I hope it isn't just "Zoro struggles, then in one amazing attack defeats his enemy" but it probably will be. (Not saying I don't like those fights, but they happen quite often)
Also, Luffy is totally not waiting to start attacking Dofla, Kyros will probably end up either helping him vs Dofla, or as someone mentioned, holding off Fuji.
-
this is Ussop's last chance for redemption,to turn back and fight like a man…
-
is it me or there really is a blank speech bubble at panda's scans? the bubble above robin's panel.

hey i found this poster of a wanted woman named robin
! http://rivansyaharik.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/nico-robin-wanted.jpg
wow look at those eyes she looks dangerousshe must be a character from a filler or something , no real Oda marerial for sure

Failed plan, 2 Dofla officer … alone.
But isn't it his coward declaration always lead/start/ignite his bravery side? -
I still think Cavendish-Hakuba will save the day
-
I'm soo disappointed with Usopp's character this arc, I wouldn't mind the redeeming Usopp part if they had done things a little different, some how it feels more like regression on his character if any thing. Seeing this and comparing it to Water 7 or Thriller Bark arc makes me a little sad
Ok, other than Usopp the chapter was pretty cool. At long last we are finally going o see a good fight from Zoro
Loved Luffy, good luck Violet! You won't be able to hold him back for long
Franky's pretty boss. Next chapter, Luffy breaks lose while Zoro goes bad ass!
-
It has been a very long time since I posted something here because it's been a very long time since the characters felt under any real danger. But Usopp alone against two officers of DoFlamingo, one of them being a badass sharpshooter, and everyone counting on him to suceed? That's the best situation Oda created in a long long time indeed.
Not to mention that Usopp is my favorite Strawhat, I've been waiting for him to get a real fight since Alabasta, and we have a chance of seeing Sogeking kick ass again.
So I just hope Usopp stumbles into something, the mask falls from his bag, he remembers the events that made him become Sogeking and, puzzling together that he tried to save someone he can't remember, he returns to save a Nakama, even if he can't remember who that nakama was.
-
Definitely a build up chapter for Usoland. And god does he need a redeemer fight.
Not a bad chapter, Kinflamingo cracked me up, really looking forward to the conclusions of all of the different stories.
How much longer would y'all assume this arc will last?
-
where's Issho (Fuji) ?
My current theory? After Sugar is defeated, the pirates that were toys, form a giant mob, charging at palace, disregarding safety of the citizens… and then a single man clad in wisteria standing in their way.

Cute cover page.
Chapter opens up with Team Luffy rushing through the palace, barely being able to escape Pica's rocks. Zoro stayed behind to fight him, and it looks like he's having difficulty with the endless environment (also expect Pica to make a labyrinth for Zoro to get hopelessly lost in). Good, Zoro needs to actually struggle in a fight again.
Luffy and Violet encounter Kyros just as Gladius attacks them and two dwarves. Gladius is freaking awesome, but his DF…..seems too similar to Mr.5's.
Best part of the chapter was Kinemon dressing up as Doflamingo. Oh my god, that had me laughing for a while. (is everyone in Dressrosa easy to fool?)
They discover King Riku and Law in chains along with the healed Baby 5 and Buffalo. (they're basicially the Valentine and Mr.5 of the arc, got defeated once before, now will get defeated later). Also, Franky raises hell in the toy house.
sigh here's where the chapter took a nosedive.
a) Robin being turned into a toy = I was half-expecting Oda to turn somebody into a toy, yes, but Robin? In the middle of her first real fight in ages??? And that would mean her crewmates would forget her...very depressing if you ask me. But again, she had just tricked Trebol! I was expecting an intense fight that hinged on the intelligence of her and Usopp! :(
b) Usopp bolts. The scene in question suggested Usopp left on cowardice. Why this regression, Oda? I know Usopp never abandons a friend when the chips are down, but isn't Robin being turned into a toy (+ memory loss) messing that up? I seriously hope Usopp will smack himself and realize he's being a fool, and rush to save the dwarves. (or maybe he's really just pretending....?)
sigh First half of the chapter I liked, but the end pages really disappointed me. But I guess next chapter will confirm or deny my suspicions.
-
But they are underground…
Through the Toy House, and then the city? Maybe? Might be just wishful thinking on my part though…
-

Amazing stuff.
He must have been stronger than all challengers to beat them without spilling blood.
Also if he was taken out as first-turned into toy- he must have been biggest danger to Doflamingos plan of taking over Dressrosa. He was probably ganged up my Doflamingo(lost leg)+Sugar(turned into toy)+ some other crewmembers. Also for Odas statement to stay somehow true Kyros must have been stronger than Diamante is now.
You sir have failed hard. I surely assume that fighter of Kyros caliber can hold off admiral. At hos prime he could have been on pair with admiral. You should not measure Kyros by that there was no bloodbath in colloseum before Doflamingos time.
Ha.

I kinda expect a "cross on the arm" thing. I mean, both Usopp and Robin are smart, and they know everything about Sugar's power. Don't you think they took some countermeasure, like I don't know, writing down their names on each other's arms or something like that?
That being said, the fact that Robin has no contract makes me think she could be the way Cavendish-Hakuba unleashes his power against Sugar.
