We see ponytail guy in chapter 73. He was training his scales quirk and concurrently training copycat's quirk by letting him copy it.

Yeah, I remember looking for that person during the calvary battle and coming up empty. Someone more dedicated can probably narrow it down and possibly ID the culprit if they're meticulous about combing through the class B panels. I have to wonder if SpeechBubble-kun acquired their quirk because Horikoshi accidentally drew Hagakure twice and did a quick last minute fix to correct it. 
Let's do a head count of everyone:

Nice catch! I doubt I would've noticed that. Wasn't looking for a literal speech bubble head in all of the panels just assumed it was a one time thing but… damn, Speech Bubble-kun definitely lives up to their nickname. Wonder what their deal is.
Considering how lame a quirk it seems, and how bad the hipotethical class b no 20 would have to be to lose to aoyama and speech bubble kun, and that it wasn't called to attention that he was an outsider as gizmo and suggestion, I'd guess that he or she must be the last class b student.

Mutant body seems likely, but I'd hold off on writing that down considering Kouda's body ended up not having anything to do with his Animal Speech quirk.
As for bandana with pom pom hands, if you're referring to that one panel in Chapter 25, I don't think that's the bandana guy of Class B. He seems different (too tall, hair isn't black, different face shape, different bandana pattern).

Beast was lumped in visually with "power-up" types in ch72, so we know it's gonna be enhanced strength of some kind (possibly with a gimmick, like Sato's). Nondescript dark-haired boy could be power-up, too (he's in the same panel as Beast when they talk about power-up types), or they could just be friends and standing together :P
And Awase is all but guaranteed to have something to do with water/ice/snow, based on his name (bubble-rapids tsu[as in tsunami]-snow).
Shoda Nirengeki's the real mystery, so far. Nirengeki is basically "double-hit/attack," but "Shoda" is as boring a name as Midoriya, kanji-wise.

Oh, MS version is out and as usual there are a few discrepancies.
Haven't seen the raw but in the other versions it was made more apparent that the villains had a list of kids that were kill targets and were each assigned to a specific kid. Deku was on the kill list, but not muscle-fiber guys target… which was Bakugou. We can probably assume that all of the standout kids from the sports festival and USJ are on said list.

I liked the fight itself, I just don't care enough about what's going on yet. As said, I get what Kouta's character and story is going for, I just don't care enough yet.

I actually think the mangaka is doing a great job at building up tension. When reading last week's chapter, I got this feeling this arc will be especially great if you read it all at once. It feels chaotic, but he is clearly in control.
The only weak spot is the Kouta subplot that kinda ruins everything. As soon as the focus changed to that bit in this chapter, I could almost see my interest leaving the room.

Well I'm positive that nobody wants Seros quirk, but Momo, Uraraka, Shouto, Bakugou, Tokoyamis all have great unique quirks that I'm sure they're on this list of wanted students

Second, he can´t control himself that well.
Midorya´s basically has 5% full body spread or 100% shot. Maybe he can land something in between, but he can´t "dosage" it that well.
His difficulty in controlling the power with Gran Torino (reference 1 and 2) show it, and with Stain he could only use a 5% punch, he knew more than that would blow his arm apart.
Even assuming he has been trying and can increase his limit already, it probably doesn´t go above 8% for now.

Well he can't be sure at which point his arm get screwed. The input he can handle fine is 5%. If he tried 20% he might break his hand while doing minimal damage.
I am also disturbed by it because in the manga Deku is well aware of how badly dangerous it is and even manage to contain himself in the first invasion thanks to that. So I'm more troubled by Deku taking such a stance than by the logic supporting it.

This guy has a quirk that is pretty much invincible. Rebuilding muscle tissue indicates that you need to punch so hard that you break bones or cause internal bleeding.
Plus it's a life-or-death struggle and a decision needs to be made in a few second span. He goes 20%, only breaks a couple of his own bones, but if the muscle guy is left standing then what? Hope a hero comes to save the day?
I am currently reading the My Hero Academia manga series and getting caught up. Right now I'm on Chapter 35 of this series (so I'm about halfway there give or take) and, excuse my language for a moment but… Holy Fuck this is one of the most fun and engaging manga series I've read in a LONG fucking time. I mean… Admittedly I was kind of destined to like this series given that I'm a big time fan of superheroes and comics in general… So to combine Western style comic books with Japanese Shonen manga style was pretty much just a recipe for win as far as I'm concerned but... Oh my God I love this series so much... When I'm up to date with this series I can very easily predict that this will be one of the highlights of my week along with One Piece. So far in these 35 chapters Horikoshi has done a really great job of establishing most if not all of the members of the class and given me at least some reason to care about most of them. I wouldn't say that any of them are as well fleshed out as anyone from One Piece or World Trigger yet (another highlight of my week) but the fact that Dekku is already one of the most likable Shonen protagonists I've seen in quite some time and that other characters like Bakugo, Uraraka, Iida, Todoroki, Asui, Yaoyorozou, Kirishima, Mineta, Kaminari, Tokoyami, Kyoka have all managed to establish themselves as at least reasonably interesting characters after only 35 chapters is just amazing to me.
It's just... Whenever I'm reading this series I always feel like I should be able to find things that are wrong with it and to be critical of it but... Ride now I'm just riding the high of this series and just having so much fun with how overjoyed I am to have what I believe to be the perfect "East meets West" comic, with this series being such a great way of taking the superhero stories I've loved so much and putting them in the form of the Shonen manga that I've also loved so much. I'm just so happy to have this manga because in a weird way I feel like I've been waiting for something like this all my life and now it's finally here. So once I'm up to date with this bad boy you can bet that I'm going to be popping in each week to talk about this series and I feel confident I'm going to have the same enthusiasm and love for this series that I've had before.
Oh... And the anime that's coming out? Can't wait for that either... And I should probably address the fact that before this series Horikoshi created Barrage for Shueisha... I actually read every chapter of that series which wasn't hard because there were... Only 15 of them... :sad: I was actually kind of heartbroken that that series somehow didn't catch on while crap like Bleach and Fairy Tail can put out hundreds and hundreds of chapters and I wondered if there was any justice in the world? Well... Maybe there was... I mean the craptastic series are still putting out loads of chapters but... At least Horikoshi got his second chance (or third apparently he also did Omagodoki Dobutsuen apparently which I didn't read but also heard good things about) and apparently Japan finally realized how brilliant he was... So maybe there is some justice in the world of manga after all? Now all we need is to get Bleach cancelled and all will be right with the world. Please let 2016 be the year... Please if there is a God...
But My Hero Academia is great and I look forward to a 2016 with that, One Piece and World Trigger to keep me company and wash the taste of Bleach away. I actually think Shonen Jump is the best it's been in a while due to those three series and others. Looking forward to 2016 with all of them.

It´s not taking steps back. He´s progressively adapting to his power, but he can´t just let himself and a civilian get killed because he has to risk one arm.
You said it yourself: He has no option left. The villain is more experienced, stronger and faster, and the surroundings don´t give him any strategic options (he´s literally on the edge of a cliff). He has to do this.
despite deku gambling with his life, he's not taking any gambles with his opponent.
My guess is that the guy will not be finished, just badly injured and kouta will either wash him away or slide away with deku.

I doubt we'll get info about it, but I would've loved to learn more about the water horses' individual quirks. We know they're both water based, but I'm curious if they worked differently from each other. Maybe one could create water and the other manipulate it, something like that.

It's possible. That's what I believe happened anyway. All Might's true goal was to get Kacchan and Deku working together. He was probably sufficiently impressed by their showing.

Well Deku never tried to punch him before and he wasn't hurt. Just momentarily surprised. I rather consider that All might tried as much he could without doing permanent damage. He can't use levels consciously between 5-100% so it boils down to 5 or 100.
he's getting his ass handed to him quite easily (the opponents speed and strength)
he cant run away easily as muscle fiber man would probably catch up
