Got some sleep, asked someone to translate this line out of context, and he translated it as "A crossover between Haikyuu, the youth volleyball anime".
It's happening.

Eh… what? If you're thinking it's an OVA or something that doesn't seem like it... my japanese isn't the greatest but my interpretation was just that All Might's seiyuu will be shouting with the Haikyuu!! seiyuu that are at the TOHO booth.
Also they are unveiling the costumes for the anime... and will have postcards with the anime key visuals on them available at that booth.
Bakugou is that edgy kid on Xbox Live isn't he?
Cant find any spoilers, what is happening?
Chapter 71 chinese: http://www.ishuhui.com/archives/375124
! the classic hot springs chapter
! I wonder if the little kid is quirkless. I'm still curious how Deku would deal with such a person, he's certainly got the experience, but also borrowed a quirk to become a hero.
! I'm even more curious how the series will end. Personally I think It'd be interesting if Deku lost his quirk - maybe All of One will hold his friends hostages and only free them in exchange for getting One for All back, and Deku gives him the quirk, but eventually manages to defeat All for One anyway because there's more to a hero than just a super power.
! Disgraceful bastard midget.
! So Quirks can be improved, huh?
! Disgraceful bastard midget.
! Aww, don't be like that. Kouta lost his parents because they sacrificed themselves doing hero work.
He's been dismissive of heroes ever since. Mandalay, the other wild pussycat, is in a similar situation (her cousin sis sacrificed herself).
With the way the sentences are arranged, I can't quite parse whether Mandalay's cousin is Kouta's mom (I'm inclined to believe so considering he's now under her care).
! Well, I'm glad we got the hot springs out of the way and there wasn't much fan service, so awesome! :D
! Disgraceful bastard midget.
! Talking about that shitstain Mineta, I assume?
@Bond:
! I can't quite parse whether Mandalay's cousin is Kouta's mom (I'm inclined to believe so considering he's now under her care).
! It's written ambiguously. "His parents were my cousins" = "One parent was my cousin, the other was my cousin-in-law." No way to tell for sure.
! Given Japan, all three could've been cousins, really. It's always been my understanding that they don't have quite the same level of taboo where cousins are concerned.
! That said, one cousin sounds most likely.

! He's speaking about Mineta.
! Can anyone tell what Aizawa is saying it the end? He looks pretty smug about it.
! Also, this chapter has opportunities for anime filler if I ever saw one.

! From Portuguese:
! "From now on, you're going to improve your Quirks! It will be hard… so try not to die in the process, ok?"
! went back and found the chapter when he first through the baseball
! 705.2 -> 709.6. not really a big improvement there (then again i haven't read the full context)
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
looking at the earlier chapters, its pretty nice to see how deku is developing along a steady pace. Its been awhile since i've seen the earlier chapters and it kinda felt like he didnt really develop(move) but he was a wreck in the beginning. great character progression so far, making me enjoy the series even more!
You cant shit on the 2nd best character. Cant stump the Trump :ninja:
Chapter's out: [http://readms.com/r/my_hero_academia/071/3116/1
I](http://readms.com/r/my_hero_academia/071/3116/1) like how MHA is approaching strength as a subversion of the usual shonen method. We've seen Deku gain greater control over his quirk and it's translated to increased power, but for the average character there's been no focused training periods. Bakugou might have some improved fighting techniques and character development but in terms of raw power there's no real reason to think he's changed that much. Approaching self-improvement as a balance between physical, technical, and emotional training should help ensure that main characters stagnate in neither fighting ability nor character development.
Kind of begs the question of what they've been doing in class this semester though.
I thought this was a pretty bad chapter sadly.
Lot of cliches I don't like, a hot spring chapter, of course….and they didn't really do anything that funny or inspired with it, like if you're gonna do that bit commit and make something hilarious.
I really don't like this kid, his backstory is interesting but the character itself eh...
I think what breaks it for me is that ending though. Instead of our characters gradually growing stronger by themselves through their battles we have to have the teacher go lol nope, you've barely progressed at all but here's a training arc to arbitrarily boost your stats anyway! It's like it went out of its way to force in this training arc when it really wasn't necessary.
This chapter was just an amalgamation of the worst shonen cliches shoved in for no good reason in my opinion.
:wub::wub::wub::wub:
That was a solid chapter. I also agree with the idea of separating and balancing physical and mental growth being something very unusual and interesting. The kids learned a lot in terms of skills/technique, grew as people, but there wasn't much physical work.
You don't suddenly grow a lot physically stronger by just a few encounters with villains or some events, you'd have to specifically work on it. I assume most of their semester was dedicated to mental activities. You know, like a regular school, or physical activities were something secondary.
I am slightly disappointed that we didn't get at least a chapter of those earth monster fights - a good opportunity for filler once the anime gets to that. Also, Kouta's pretty interesting, I welcome all of the complex jerk characters.
This kid is basically that kid from the Zabuza arc in Naruto.
Let me mention, Jump announces Iida and Ochacko's seiyuu + character designs in this issue…
Pretty good and fun chapter. Nice to see the reoccurring theme of the idolization of heroes and finally getting some growth on those quirks

:wub::wub::wub::wub:
For once in my life I don't hate the fanarts/colorizations interrupting the chapter. Mei deserves all the love she can get.
Despite hating Bakugou and being bored to death by Todoroki, I liked their interaction. I always like when Bakugou can interact with people as a normal person.
"Encarnation of human lust". Oh, Mineta, my boy…
Hmmm, I wonder how deku will upgrade. Is he going to just use a higher percent of power? Is that going to effect allmight? Very interested to see what happens in the next few chapters :)
You know, I'm finding it hilarious, given their reputation on this, that when Mangastream gets My Hero Academia and so far a little kid's done more cursing than Bakugo.

But they did progress though, just not in terms of Quirk strength. Just technical and strategic stuff.
What is this? A RPG where characters get stat boosts by beating enemies? Bakugou shouldn't be able to make bigger explosions just because he punched a few bad guys here and there.
For some reason when he hits Deku in the balls reminded me of this.
I liked how Todoroki verbally burned Bakugou, lol.
For those who are interested, ch71 includes a blurb about Horikoshi being excited about the new Star Wars (?) and being ready to accept fans' New Year's cards/postcards. Possibly for a fan art column? Not sure.

I sent mine yesterday and included gratuitous self-promotion (Sidekick: Translator Man) + Stormtrooper Izuku :D
!

Where it at doe!
This kid is basically that kid from the Zabuza arc in Naruto.
My exact thoughts. Personally I hate that trope. I'd like the author to not have the kid ever warm up to the heroes, but likes the ideals of Shigaraki more or something. Just not turn this into a countdown of when the kid will see heroes aren't worthless or whatever.
Personally, of he comes to like heroes again, I'd like it to be because of Bakugo. Admittedly it's based on that little approving smirk he gives after Kouta nut-punched Deku.
It feels like Horikoshi is trying to shove as many little side character interactions into each chapter as he can, so we really get to know these characters and I am totally here for it.

Something like that's probably a necessity where larger casts like Academia's are concerned.

At least make it a screwdriver. That wrench is far too big to be of use for those gadgets.
The fact that his parents were dead because they were doing hero work is no excuse to punch someone in the crotch.
Didn't like the trial was handled but I never liked vague trials or the assume it was hard because they all bruised up and they arrived by their ranking.
Don't care for the kid but the back story is interesting.
I liked that quirks don't suddenly spike from being punched numerous time.
Fun chapter, not a whole lot going on yet but I did like the little bit of world building we're getting with Kouta's backstory. Wonder what kind of training levelling up their quirks entail.
Also, did anyone notice how Aoyama(Navel Laser) was mysteriously absent when they were in the hot springs? Bathing complications due to his quirk? Or was he up to something sinister like informing someone of their location…? :ninja:
Octopus guy and sero were missing too.

Well if Horikoshi is a huge Star Wars fan, and Gran Torina is MHA's Yoda, maybe Aoyama is MHA's Darth Jar Jar…:ninja:
I didn't see anyone post the pic with Ochako and Iida's anime designs yet, so…
!
! Why's Ochako a stick tho.

How would you specify that it's for Horikoshi? It looks like that's just a general Shueisha mailing address.
I always forget she's not a blonde.
! How is she a stick? Or any different from before?

Write his name along with the address, I guess? Point is, he specifically requested New Year's greetings, so they should be expecting mail for him.
huh, I guess I wasn't the only one…..
Definitely not. Dunno why but she looks so blonde to me lol
I always saw it as white or pink, myself.
