From the spoilers, all I could think of was finally seeing Diamante in all his glory.
His powers and design are just as freakin' awesome as expected.
Lao G was an unexpected pleasure in this chapter though.
Between his dwarf smashing glasses and power rangers-esque "G" hand gesture, Oda has created yet another great character amongst the Donquixote family.
From the way Pika phased through the wall and then regained solid form, I have to go with the idea of a clay logia (shamelessly stolen from King Cannon).
He reminded me way too much of Clayface for me to consider anything else.

It already looks like the final fight is getting skipped in some moments, which is getting really annoying this arc. Can you please stop skipping so many things Oda? I'm pretty certain it's far more interesting to see those 5 going at it than have a pointless 1/2 chapter introducing Diamante's power which could have been done in the ring. Franky's fight also seems to be getting skipped in moments, it's losing a lot of its appeal by this. Also Pica is massive, but isn't that in itself a massive disappointment? He's basically a huge target yelling hit me to either Zoro or Luffy.

I don't know this chapter just seemed like a bunch of set up.
Exposition and discovery about powers like getting all the pieces in place for some major bait and switch. I think Sanji and Sunny is captured hence no information on them or they are trying to outrun BM with Sanji having to be defensive instead.
I can see this chapter being a good reference for whats to come but it didn't really move me.
Pell survived because he is a Falcon - Stop using him as a bad example.

all these things are supposed to happen at the same time,how you suggest to do it without skipping back and forth between the various groups?it's not like he can stay 4 chapters on the finals and then just come back to luffy and zoro and they are still surprised in front of pica,something must be off-screened..that or you need a flashback for every other part other than the finals…and it would be a clunky solution.

I loved the two panels with Lao G putting on the glasses. lol. The golem looks really cool. Luffy being an idiot again, I feel like this is definitely gonna bite him in the ass on some level, for some reason I enjoyed that, though, Dofla does the typical mistake, while Luffy also does the typical mistake. Doflamingo can't go down that easily. Especially since we still barely know anything about him as far as backstory goes. His backstory has also been foreshadowed quite a bit like Law's. Diamantes fruit is another odd devil fruit added to the list, the bull looks cool, though. Not gonna lie, the set up for the tournament looks like a perfect set up for Rebecca to win. It's about snatching that casket and her specialty is speed. The butthurt when that would happen would be great, lol. I loved the bit with the outraged Block D contestants. I wouldn't care because it would make sense considering her abilities, naturally there could a twist to this whole thing by having a fake there or something, too. Good chapter overall.

also,shanks made a bet on luffy because he was like his captain,and we know roger was just as reckless as luffy,if not more.if luffy changes,he loses the one thing that makes him special..that's why i have never understood people complaining that luffy hasn't changed (at least not much) since the beginning of the manga..that's the entire point of the story..it's 20 years and nobody has found the onepiece,and all those people were using their brain,so why luffy would ever need one? -

actually,inazuma's fruit makes him able to fold like an origami everything he cuts with his scissors,basically,everything he cuts acquires the same properties as paper..it has nothing to do with being able to "cut everything"
diamante's one makes him able to fold matter,but he doesn't need to cut it,and he doesn't have scissors hands…these are the only differences -

Maybe, just maybe he has a mythical zoan Model Golem. Here is why. Zorro now has haki. As we have seen against Monet he can deal with a logia. In Alabasta Zoro had a full out fight against someone made out of iron. He wasnt able to cut iron before and he had to dig deep to get through that fight. Marco was the last Mythical Zoan we have seen. He was able to regenerate through his blume flames. The golem, another mythical creature, is said to be able to regenerate. Basically he cannot be killed. In my mind is think Oda set this up perfectly. Zoro beats Monet the way he did. Letting her live, not using haki just giving her a mind fuck. Now we are at Dressrosa. There are ancountable similarities between Dressrosa and the Alabasta arc. Now wouldnt it be perfect if Zoro had an allout fight against a mythical zoan able to regenerate. Zoro would may be have to go all out just as against Daz Bones. It would leave Luffy to continue moving forward towards Flamingo. Lastly here is a picture of a golem figure how it was depicted in ancient stories (myhts).

How much of a threat are those "Boss Class" fighting fish for guys like Sabo, Burgess and Diamante really? I'm sure it'll make the ring a less 'comfortable' fighting space, but I can only really see maybe Bart struggling and Rebecca though.
