For me its the Best game in the Series, it combines he best Part of 1 and 2 together and had overall better Game Modes like Dream Log and the Story Moe is better presented.

Better than both, in my opinion. I do kinda miss the nakama system in the second one where you get to play as another character for a short amount of time, though.

I per-ordered it. I was thinking about getting it on Steam, since I don't have to upgrade my PC after x amount of years, like you do with consoles, but Koei has been terrible with their PC ports, so I went with the PS4 version.

I think you have that backwards.
Computers you have to update constantly, and can run int problems running the newest stuff within months unless you get an uber expensive high memory graphics intensive machine. Consoles will play anything released within the system's lifespan and go for about 10 years..

I'm just saying you can play older games on the PC. For example, I can play half life 2 on my PC, but if i wanted to play it on console, i'd have to hook up an old console to do so.

There's certain levels where specific allies will show up in Dream Log, like a level where there's specific types of devil fruit users, but it's always random. Sorry.

A keyboard + mouse will work, but KT's PC ports usually don't have very good KB+M controls. You can try it if you'd like when it launches, but you might be better off getting a controller sometime.

I have found that the supporting characters are random during the levels. so if I go out and return the same level, the supporting characters should change every time. answer
in fact if the supporting characters are random and so just come and go at the same level to see them change. being random are not fixed at that level them.

Looks like the UK won't be getting the pre-order dlc content (not listed on Amazon/GAME, etc..). I would rather have a physical copy as opposed to downloading it digitally.

That's a lot preferable to constantly making a new game while the source material hasn't advanced in certain respects leading to them having to wing it with certain things.
I've often wondered about that myself; seems like being supported by people who only want you there so the world can end in fire (with you going to Hell in the process) would be somewhat off-putting

Well I don't see how making the game more complete trying to add more characters and more arcs won't make the fans want to buy it but wtv, they seem to be with a lot of work lately with all the crossovers and their main series games.

They need to flesh out a lot of the older arcs( Skypiea, Thriller bark, Sabaody archipelago, Enies Lobby, Alabasta, etc..) and actually include in a couple of omitted arcs ( Little Garden, Whiskey Peak, Amazon lily and Long ring long land).

My more optimistic theory is that the break entails updating the core game engine to be more "next gen." But, yeah, waiting for the manga to progress further is probable as well.
I doubt the series has been killed off since it seemed to be a pretty dependable money-maker.

Kinda makes me wish they do a Enhanced PS4 Edition of PW3 to hold us over until they decide to do PW4.
With the enhancements being:
Add in some of the skipped arcs from Pre-Timeskip
new Costumes(21) and bring back any they left out from PW2 & PW1
3 new playable characters -

So the western Version is coming out soon, looking forward to it but sadly had not the Time to do everything in the japanese Version.
Regarding the break on the Series, it will be this and no stop. Its a big selling Game for Namco. We will pürobably see another Unlimited Game 2016 and 2017 a diffrent OP Game. I think 2018 the Series could be back. I hope so.

unlimited world red is kinda like that but it was meant for ds (or is it vita?) so it kinda clunky. hopefully they can make something like that intended for current gen console.

Still like the Dressrosa Ending of the Game.
Preorderd my PSN Version now, you got a Mission named Davy Back Fight. Nether noticed it in the japanese Version but I didn't played all of them now. Also got 2 previos PW Costumes, I doubt they will be free like in Japan since Western DLC is in 2 Packs.

How long does it take to unlock all the characters? I don't want to rush through the game since they seem to actually be putting a lot of effort into adapting the manga but I'm pretty sure most of my playtime will be dedicated to online co-op like with PW2, especially with the stages being as big as they are.

You have to finish the Legend Log so you can say about 22 Hours for that. Then unlocking the Rest in Dream Log should take you up to 5-10 Hours. But if you want to get all out of you Characters and Level 100 you have to 100% Legend Log taht will take you long. Farming Gold Coins in Dream Log also. If you are using mainly 1-2 Chars you can skip that. Don't now if you can get Gold Coins online, if so you can farm them there :)

DLC Pack 1 & 2 are 8 bucks each and give a sum total of 18 costumes & 8 Quests
But buying the Season Pass ($11.99) gives you the 18 Costumes & 8 Quests plus 12 more costumes only available in the Season Pass

well its seem kind of obvious that they wouldnt make New Costumes for just the American Release
if they would have made new costumes, japan would have released a scan showing them off.
i just hope we get told what the 30 costumes are
9 of them will be the 9 that were made for PW3.
the other 21 are gonna come from PW1 & PW2
so hopefully they tell us which 21 out of like how many where made for Pw1 & PW2 we will get

It took me a long time to beat the first mission…I couldn't find the gate I needed to pass to stop Zoro's execution. I eventually looked up a youtube video to see where it was. It was in one of the storage rooms. I think the one by Nami. When I finished the level, Luffy was at level 10...after the prologue...:getlost:
The game is pretty fun so far. I just wish you could change your costume in the main story, like you can in hyrule warriors.
Also, what is online mode for and what is rescue? What are the differences between the two?
