@TheGreatestSwordsman:
Bartolomeo was beating Bellamy down with ease using his fists, the guy who was actually taking characters that at least had a name. He took out a freaking Vice Admiral without a scratch, diminishing what he has done is pretty freaking silly. Kizaru and Aokiji must be weaklings then, since they also use their devil fruit all the time both defensively and offensively…
Cavendish is a 280 million fighter whose been in New World for three years running with quite a weapon. We didn't see him do anything in Group D, while we see Rebecca struggling against useless no-name characters, she was sweating and then needing a Gladiotor's help afterwards. If that doesn't show that she isn't really all that strong, I don't know what will. Even if she was impressive, that is fine and dandy, just the idea of her KO'ing all of them including Canvedish in one quick attack is rather ridiculous.
If Oda wants to write a scenario where Rebecca has learned how to cope with speed and moved away from the full impact attack of whoever took everyone out and she is the one standing, then that's fine and realistic. It makes sense and it doesn't make her look like the total weakling she's been so far.
I wasn't diminishing Barto's achievements, just pointing out that they don't say much about his ability to see fast things. Also, we don't get to see Bellamy vs. Barto, all we get is Bellamy saying something along the lines of 'he must have eaten a fruit', which rather suggests his fists had nothing to do with it. The only physical attack we've seen from Barto is him kicking Hack while he was down, which also tells us nothing.
Also, when did we see Rebecca struggling? She's been doing okay. You can tell by the fact that she's still in despite being a high-priority target. Also also, need is a strong word. She accepted Acilia's help, but there was no suggestion that it was strictly necessary. Rolling Logan didn't touch her and neither did Suleiman. All I'm saying is that I don't think she's as weak as everybody else seems to think, and I don't think Cavendish is as strong as everybody else seems to think. Maybe it's just that I don't read as much weakness out of laboured breathing sound-effects as you do.
Combine that with something out of Rebecca on the order of, say, the King Punch. Something that she might want to save for the end because it takes a lot out of her or has some limitation to its use. Not a giant explosion of power, but a giant explosion of speed instead. Fair enough if that breaks your suspension of disbelief, but I can't say it would break mine.
