New manga of Captain Tsubasa?
-
"Rising Sun will revolve around Tsubasa as he aims to participate in the Olympics as a representative from Japan."
I don't keep up with the more recent Tsubasa manga, but didn't he play in the Olympics before?
And i guess he's older than 23 now, so why is it still a big goal for him? -
Tsubasa is 20 years old. It's been less than a year since he joined Barcelona after winning the World Youth competition (U19).
All the different manga since "Road to 2002" cover only one season.
He never won the Olympics. It's mostly a big goal for Misaki. If you read "Golden-23" which feature the preliminaries for the Olympics you will understand.I'm quite excited by this announcement. It's been almost 2 decades since we had a world competition in this manga.
The end result is predictable since Tsubasa never lose.
I'm mostly interested in seeing who Japan will face. I'm quite convinced Spain will be the final opponent. -
but didn't he play in the Olympics before?
I thought it was the status quo that he was somewhere during the Olympics. So these Olympic Games are still running?

Tsubasa is 20 years old.
Really, he's still 20? After having accomplished so much and becoming a father, i assumed he was older at this point.
