How are they even going to pull this off? Wasn't the first game a side scrolling beat 'em up? I have no idea how they're going to translate that into high quality 3D.

It's going to be a reskinned Fighter Within, complete with horrible Kinect controls, at best. Or they could actually try to release a legit old-school 2D fighter.

I always actually liked some of the characters in the game that weren't Shaq. Namely Mephis and Diesel. And man, I hope the remix the soundtrack of the original game, cause some of the tracks were pretty damn good.

To me, Shaq Fu was one of those games where it was so bad, it was funny. I remember having a blast playing it on the SNES when I was a kid.

When I first saw this thread, I had a brain fart, and thought he was actually doing Kazaam 2. If for whatever[ reason, this game actually makes money, maybe Shaq will be encouraged to go back into acting. Or if we're lucky…his rap career.

Can you just imagine a child that dreamt of doing videogames? His friends were fans of Mortal Kombat, Marios Bros or Final Fantasy but not him. No, he knew where it was at. The motherlode, the greatest game ever: Shaq fu. He used to play it for hours and hours and had high hopes for a sequel that never materialized. He kept living his life, School, friends, college, but he always had a clear objective: Shaq fu 2. If no one was gonna do the sequel by god he was gonna make it.
When he finally entered the industry he didn't find someone that shared his vision. He decided to wait, wait for the right time. In the mean time he worked in minor projects like HALO, Street Fighter, Final Fantasys and others. To his surprise he found mates in work. People that also loved Shaq Fu and had the secret yearning for a sequel. All of them were krinded spirits. Now they could do it, they had a dream and they were gonna make it. Money? Ha, that doesn't matter. They would appeal to the public. They knew people would flock to support the game. And now they have the chance, the possiblity to make this a reality.
It's time.
