Luffy gear 3 moves look much slower than his gear 4 moves .
Also if you look at the panels you can see don has up his defense with his strings.
Still luffy was able to hit threw them with his flying head and hit him with Leo bazooka right away .
Gear 4 just seem to be on another level .Yea it seems to be,
I believe the attacks are more or equally powerful as gear 3 but just not destructive. It gives speed and defense. However it has a time limit and he's overusing his Haki to pull it off.
Luffy is trying his earnest to finish Doflamingo off going all out so its to be expected. These short bursts will outclass opponents.

Actually, I am fairly certain Chopper has always been "awakened."
Here is my reasoning (TL;DR at bottom):
Awakened Zoans, as we see from Impel Down and from the wiki, are zoans who's default mode/personality more closely matches their fruit than their original species. So, a human that eats the cow cow fruit would be more like a human than a cow in her default mode - we have even see that most zoans' default mode is just a regular human. But, an awakened cow cow fruit user would have a default mode appearing more similar to a cow, and would have a personality more closely related to a cow - they might be kinda dumb, prone to be scared, like foods that resemble grasses, etc.
The awakened zoans at impel down were somewhat like this - I'm not sure if they ever even used human language, and they were somewhat savage, like animals, rather than humans who ate zoan fruits.
So, I am working on the assumption that awakened zoans have a default form and personality more closely resembling their fruit's animal than their original species.
Chopper is exactly like that. You might expect awakened Chopper to be more reindeer like, because reindeer are "animals," but this isn't right; Remember his original species is a reindeer. He ate the person person (human human) fruit, and so as an awakened zoan he would more closely resemble a human than his original species (a reindeer).
Awakened zoans resemble their fruit's animal more than they resemble their original species and Chopper does resemble a human more than he resembles a reindeer. He walks on two legs, he speaks human (demon guards at impel down, I believe, never spoke, because their animals do not speak), he has many human personality traits such as human emotions, liking to be complimented, he uses his hands like a human does, and most importantly, his personality and default form have the defining features of human beings: Human intelligence and empathy. He is, primarily, a doctor, not a deer. He wants to help others, and he does so by pursuing an intellectual endeavor: becoming a great doctor. (His intellect is also linked to his use of language). He is basically a person who has various deer/hybrid transformations.
If Chopper were not awakened, his default mode would be a reindeer, he would have some personality traits of a human but they would not overpower his reindeer ones. Instead, the awakened status of Chopper alters this, so his default mode and personality are distinctively human rather than reindeer.
Possible supplement: His transformations are based on his studies and originally on technology - rumbleballs. Technology and study are human characteristics, and these are defining characteristics of Chopper, not just little extras aside from his ordinary everyday going abouts as a reindeer; Chopper lives and develops as a human.
Possible Objection: One Piece animals have rationality/intellect(/technology?).
Response: True, some animals in One Piece are intelligent, rational, etc. I would say they are not these things to the extent of one piece humans. But even if they were, here is the rub: Humans have been traditionally distinguished from other animals (philosophically, biologically, sociologically, psychologically, sometimes metaphysically, etc.) by their intellect. Even if this is not as sharp a distinction from other animals as we might pretend it is - even if there is a sliding scale of these traits that allow for animals to be on the rubric as well - and even if this is entirely the wrong way to distinguish humans from non-human animals, this is in fact the traditional and pervasive way that human beings have defined themselves for at least thousands of years. Most importantly, this is how humans think of themselves when distinguishing themselves from animals. Even if animals in one piece are all rational or intelligent or what have you, this conception of humanity would still very plausibly make its way into the One Piece definition of human beings, as very few other notions of humanity have ever been entertained during our species' existence.TL;DR: I firmly believe that Chopper is an awakened zoan because his default form and personality more closely resemble a human being than a reindeer, and all we know about awakened zoans thus far is that their default mode and personality more closely resemble their fruit's animal than their original species.
And here I was thinking Monster chopper is the awaking of his fruit seeing he became mindless, immune to damage and his ferocious. I think if Franky never stop him he would lose his mind and become like the impel down guards.

it's clear that doflamingo is no match for gear 4 luffy. luffy absolutely stomped him, to the extend that doflamingo had to run around using his "awakening" as a diversion in order to not get stomped
the question is, can a non-gear 4 luffy defeat doflamingo. doflamingo is clearly not down for the count and luffy is out of juice
I would like to see luffy use a mixture of gear 2 and gear 3 attacks to finish off the flamingo. It'd demonstrate that his base strength is nothing to be sniffed at and it'll also give us a decent fight

Gear 4 has outclassed Doffy at the cost of going all out. So he's had a lot of energy output.
If Doflamingo gets up he will be severely weakened after that onslaught. Gear 2nd/3rd will start to hurt Doflamingo.
Its like when someone punches your arm. If doesnt hurt you the first time you can laugh it off. Do it over and over again and watch how it starts to hurt.
Luffys eagle bazooka for example if he were to use it again would not "tickle" flamingo. Doflas speed and strength will have dropped further more so Luffys normal gears are capable.Luffy and Dofla at full strength having Luffy use only gears 2/3, IMO would be Dofla>Luffy.

You know, I praised the last chapter. Majority of it, in fact.
It got completly overlooked in favour of my minor gripes with the strings.
Why?
To this day, I don't know.
I asked some more veteran members about it, and they don't know either.
I seem to be an odd phenomenon, in that regard.
And no, I don't require the manga to be more than it has proven itself to be capable off being. If I did, I would not enjoy it in the first place.
Isnt it obvious, people jump on the "hating-posts" because there they can respond to , so you were right to say its partly their own fault.
Its easier to argue along with the mainstream-opinion and to get passionated for something you like, so in that regard you´re kind of necessary to start discussions
(there were members before you who did this also, just in their own kind of way, lol)
I know i won´t change your style of posting, neither is that my intention, it´s even to some extent good.
But you´re going so often the extra mile, where it gets annoying and just makes this place like a dumb repeating freakshow, with you being the center.
Saying you dont get it and seeing the fault in others sure is one part of the medaillion, and you´re already branded that way, but you should get behind the thought, that you could change first your own behaviour a bit to reach some positive results.
Iam not the first neither the last person who will tell you this, but i personally would find it sad seeing you banned again and again.

It looks like he will get up for one more attack by Luffy in his normal form by the looks of things. I didn't like the fight for other reasons but yeah, seeing Luffy pound Doflamingo, a introduced since over a decade ago is pretty anti-climactic. It's best to judge fully for those that wanted Luffy vs Dofla once the fight is over.

I think Luffy's fight with by far the best villain, also the most hyped one, that he defeated wasn't great. I would take Luffy's fight with Corcodile any day.
At first it was team battle with law and trebol, then luffy had too much f***king trouble with a clone and Bellamy, then it was law vs DD 1vs1, then law abolished DD's organs and we still don't know how much that did to Doflamingo. Then Luffy vs DD 1vs1, tickled DD, then a new gear that own DD and doesn't give him any chance.
DD that skill laughs like he got this battle, and also laughs at luffy's 'crap df mastery' when luffy owns him like none did before. F ck your awakening DD, it does shit.
I just hope this fight is over, at least I get to see Sunny team and hope Luffy next battles are better. From now on I expect him to beat only yonkous, 7th warlord, maybe Kuma, and yonkou commanders, admirals. I don't expect Hody crap and Ceasar cocky logia that he defeated even pre ts without gears or haki. It's the new world, he had 2 years to train. Time to see how he compares with the big guys, not the no name weaklings.

They did have a problem that's why he was banned.
He insulted everyone's intelligence by pretending to be someone else while having exactly the same views, expressions and argument style and joining the forum a few days after being banned.
As I said he was being given the benefit of the doubt by the mods to see if he would tone it down, yet he could not see that and carried on like he was being clever and pulling the wool over everyone's eyes.

I wasn't paying any real attention to your posts until after about a week when another poster I think it was Sabinis (apologies if not) made me look closer at your posts.
I personally never really engaged with you at all over one piece, however in spite of that I saw the effect you had on the forum as a whole.
The bile that was associated with the Darth account was largely your own doing (not entirely though), I noticed that at first you were more careful with your posts as Verus and I thought fair enough, but it did not take long before everything was back as it was before and there could really be no doubt who you were.
So I called you on it.

Even now you are pretty much doing the same instead of actually grasping why people were "mocking" you . I guess it's easier for you to blame others for you own immature mentality .

His 1HKO to Smoker, interaction with Kuzan, being able to handle Law with ease as well as Sanji. I mean as far as I can remember no one significant person, at any time of story, was brought to near death in 3 or 4 in One Piece so far, as it was in Sanji's case.
I like Luffy is overwhelming Doflamingo with his new gear i.e acquired technique and not Croco style will-power. And it seems Doflamingo won't be able to inflict any serious damage to Luffy while he is in G4. That's kind of too much to me.
