Actor Paul Walker Passes On
-
Thousand pardons to his friends, fans, and family.
A lot of people making that 'fast and furious' joke about his death. Not cool.
-
Was shocked when I heard the news.
My deepest condolences to his family and fellow actors. Rest in Peace, brother.

Unfortunately some people have no tact.
This tragically ironic, R.I.P PW. My heart goes out to his friends and family
-
Simply shocked… RIP Paul and my deepest condolences to his family and friends

While joking about someones death isn't nice… c'mon. It's ridiculious to give people shit for it due to the sheer irony.

If he was the driver then I probably would have mentioned the "fast and furious" line, but that's probably because I like to laugh at death.
Actually met Paul when I was working security at an event in Hollywood and from the brief minutes I talked to him he was an absolutely cool guy
-
Very sad to hear about Paul Walker. He was on the way to an event for his charity too. He was a single dad with a daughter. The whole situation is saddening. Condolences to his friends and family. We'll miss you.

While is death is rather ironic I give my condolences to his friends and family

Half the people trolling probably don't know what irony is.
-
Very sad to see him go. From what I've seen of he's a charitable man and a good person. And I always enjoyed seeing him and Vin together in the Fast movies. Whether they continue or not, it won't be the same without him.
-
Heard about this last night. While I never saw any of the Fast movies, it's a shame to see an actor go out like this.
RIP Paul Walker

Really?
-
Damn RIP he died too soon, he seemed like a good person. I gotta admit tho his death is realllllly fukin ironic, I thought tha news was fake when I first heard it.
-
R.I.P Pual Walker the Fast and Furious movies are a guilty pleasure of mine.
-
Condolences.
Also the people making those comments are real grade A douchebags :/
-
The internet allows everyone to become complete douchebags unfortunately. At first I thought this was some fake tabloid shit, then I got home and saw it was legit. I feel terrible for all his friends and family about this.
I will be very surprised if Fast 7 isn't scrapped, or at least they have to start over from almost scratch.
-
Starting from almost the scratch would be awfully expensive, I would think. I do just hope that they won't kill Brian's character off. And I don't mean that they should recast him if they were to do Fast 8, but the character has a child and wife now, and after Jason Statham's character is taken care of just say he's done doing this or whatever. Goes against his character, but I'd rather not have Brian die off-screen.
Of course to do this smoothly it would depend on what they have already finished filming. If they have already filmed the ending scenes, and if it is all happy like Fast 5 and 6 (except Han's death), then Brian's absence here and there can be explained.
-
But that's the thing, from what I understand they are not finished filming and Walker still had scenes to do. It depends on how much of it they got done already.
-
Killing off screen probably wouldn't be any worse than killing off Doc in Cars 2. And outside of killing production which isn't likely to happen and recasting Walker's character which is definitely not happening killing his character off is the only viable option left.
-
You could kill him off in the movie, but risk negative reactions overwhelming the series. Plus the problem also is the way he went out in real life. Would killing him in a car crash in the movie really be morally acceptable? Or maybe just put a bullet in his head? But perhaps they can write him out awkwardly in the middle of the movie by making him return to his wife and baby and just sort of forget them for Fast 8 & 9.
And I mean really, why drive around in cars with Vin Diesel when you could be home with Jordana Brewster?
-
Highly doubt the movie is scrapped. Aside from financial reasons, I think they have an out in making him just go out as a family man or something they can write up. I think things there will have to be a lot of retooling to accomodate that, though.
Eitherway, none of that takes precedence over the grief and condolences here. RIP–I was truly saddened by this.
-
My family and I have a lot of mutual friends, one of them was dating him for a time…
:(
