Gintama and Beelzebub don't have good artwork, but they have good sale. Furthermore, the original One Punch-man has really bad art, but it was popular in the internet world. So, the artwork doesn't really determine the series' popularity.

Not seeing it to be honest after the very strong first chapter this series hasn't given me anything but the mediocre(arguable though given what its other battle manga competition looks like in jump so from that perspective it's rather goodish) vibe.
It's surely enough to survive for quite a while I think but especially after how they treated the outcast thing in the last chapter I'm fairly disappointed.
It's probably still going to be an enjoyable read but in my fair opinion it's not making the most out of its possibilities.
The art is quite bad compared to other series I read- some of the fighting scenes I had to read twice in order to get them- but the story's not too shabby. It might go places if the author keeps it up.
Just read all the chapters, and so far it wasn't too bad. I'll reserve judgement until an actual plot comes into effect though, but it seems promising.
I'm intrigued by the idea of these forms stemming from personality.

Yeah, she's great. The nose-kiss scene was lovely, and her surprisingly gruesome combat was cool.
So far this story is flowing nicely. I feel as though we will have a time skip in the near future.

And best thing is the author isn't rushing things for the sake of showing more impact from the beggining. He has spent 7 chapters (I'm counting the next one since it will be the closure of it) with only the first arc. Which feels more like a prologue, if you ask me.

Agreed. It makes it far more satisfying if Teppei really has to struggle instead of giving him some double page spread instavictory coolness display

I have a feeling these developments won't be as appealing to kiddies though. 
I hope it does survive. It's clearly executed really well, it's just working in a crowded category and doesn't really have a "wow" factor in its favor.
The buildup is really good so far, but I am afraid this rather conventional buildup setup is just too "boring" for children in WSJ. Which is a damn shame, because it has a lot of potential.

Yeah,
! The Goblins organized and controlled by a leader (capable of attaching eyeballs to the goblins, remotely controlling and ordering like a cloud computing) are armed with firearms they robbed from the defense force base.
The sniper that saved the protagonists is a defense force soldier.
! They're gonna infiltrate the base now under the control of the goblins, and among the survivors held captive at the base is Teppei's childhood girlfriend from the first chapter.
The JSDF and Iron Knight teaming up is pretty awesome, but I feel the author's starting a major arc that could wrap up the story if the manga doesn't survive.
It's probably going to climax in this arc, and come to a stopping point where it can either continue or end.

Chapter 9 was awesome, I like the way this manga handles conflicts and societies that could arise from such a scenario.
It could be saved by Beelzebub, Hachi and Cupid ending.
I liked Hachi as well, but IK is Hachi with better execution in almost every aspect.
Indeed it is. Rankings started and for now it does not look good, so you would think the author might speed up the plot and show some crazy plot twists that may backfire, right? Lol no, he just keeps with the flow and stays consistent.

Commander Sakurayama is a cool character, if the series continues I could see him being a very valuable ally.
! Commander Sakurayama is as good as dead meat. No way he can survive such a deep wound of a sniperrifle. Not if he gets into a proper hospital with doctors and good equipment and all that stuff. I think he will die which will leave the survival of the now much bigger group of survivors in the hands of our little hero. Probably one of the other officers will step up as leader of the JSDF forces and becomes either another main chara or a support chara for our mains, but I think this pretty much was it for Sakurayama, at the very least I doubt he will make it to the end of this arc alive.
