Just keep 'em coming. Them delicious memes.

!
Huehuehue.
What a historical football match, Klose beats Ronaldo´s goal record in his home country against his team.
And then the record breaking 7-1 rape. RIP Brazil, viva la Germania. -
So is this going to have a historical name to haunt the memory of Brazil? Mineirazo?
Bra71l ?

I guess that's enough jokes for today

@Mrs.:
Germany has the cleanest record in terms of fouls this World Cup. That's part of what makes them so pleasant to watch, their fair play.
But good to see the Brazilians didn't lose their tempers either, like they did a bit against Colombia. An expert referee that reviews the judge decisions after every game on Croatian TV mentioned some interesting numbers after the game. Namely that Brazil is #1 in total fouls in this Cup so far.
Yup, just checked:

Gotta love all these memes xD
-
At least Brazil didn´t lose to Argentina in the finals. The reaction would be much worse. I´m happy that the nation that I´m descendant from won.
7-1 is a massacre, I would like a 5-3.
-
The scoreline deserved an Oscar. It got one.

Germany certainly brought up their goal total with this single match :pAnd hey, Belgium is #2 in shots! Cool~
And they show most fouls, but not least fouls… But I heard it was Germany.

oh god
-
The more skilled a team is, the more fair play the team can allow themselves.
-
Wow, that was an amazing game to behold.
Doesn't say anything about the finale though as that opponenet will be very different from Brasil to begin with. Still tonight we shall have a feast and worry about the final tomorrow! :D

Germany 100% used Conquers Haki
-
@Cyan:
So does Brazil's government get overthrown and replaced by communists now, or what
Well, elections are this year.
-
This loss came in a good time.
The brazilian football has been in a freefall of quality longer than I can remember and, with such a shameful defeat in the World Cup, people will start to realize how CBF (the brazilian football organization) is wrong on how it treats the football; our ESPN is bringing back a discussion they tried to rise before: the "revolution of the brazilian football" is necessary to make this sport better, but to actually be treated in such similar way as how it's treated in other countries, like Germany, for instance.
I wanted my team to win, but justice has been served and I'm glad.
-
Wow, just wow.
Couldn`t believe my eyes..what a night^^Now one more game and a dream comes true.
-
Wow.
Calling out individual players? Cheering whenever the opposing team has the ball? Seems you don't need enemies if you have Brazilian soccer fans. If anything was truly shameful today, it was their behavior. Reminds me of certain soccer clubs in Germany.
Yeah, can't help but feel sorry for the team. From the very start of the tournament reduced to a "Neymar + adds", then forced to celebrate the little douche like a savior. And even after his accident it's STILL all about him, including absolutely degrading phrases from the coach: "they all have to be a little Neymar!".
Doesn't surprise me that the first goal completely broke them. But whatever! Germany played well and I'm confident that they can win it all, but Holland is a completely different ballpark. Robben, van Persie, Huntelaar, Sneijdar… all dangerous players who can score pretty much whenever. A solid team overall, a Germany in orange. And they even got a Saturday morning Disney Villain if it should come to penalties!
Scary.
-
Wow, das Volk der Dichter und Denker, has to sit down to think of a name/discription for this match (because at the moment there is none)…

If anything was truly shameful today, it was their behavior. Reminds me of certain soccer clubs in Germany. It's because most of the fans that watched ALL the games aren't regular football fans; the only things they did in the games was to sing the entire national anthem, to sing "I'm brazilian with pride and love", to boo at the team, and to boo at ANOTHER COUNTRY'S NATIONAL ANTHEM (which is totally messed up). The real, or atleast, better football fans couldn't make it to the games.

Believe it or not, people are blaming our president for the loss.

Ah man, you win one game with 5 goals made in like 19 minutes and the internet is flooded with "Blitzkrieg" memes. <.<

Does Dilma also transmits direct orders to Scolari via invisible ear plug? (http://abcnews.go.com/International/world-cup-2010-north-korean-coach-talks-kim/story?id=10931655)
Anyway, in Brazil´s defence, i actually think the 2010 team is worse than this one, they just got lucky that they never faced a strong team. Even the Netherlands gave Brazil waaaaaaaay to much respect in that game, which they could have won by 4-1 with ease.
This team at least has the individuals (or some). That team had nothing.

What makes Neymar a douche? I don't know too much about him.

@God:

Neymar has a bad habit of simulating fouls and injuries when nothing serious happened, he also used to have a bad personality. The latter changed a lot since he went to Barcelona, the earlier not that much.

Just wait when the people start even bigger protests over the amount of money your government put towards the stadiums instead of some of the problems your country has

I'm obviously expecting the big protests to happen again, the smaller ones never stopped. But, sincerely, I don't think this loss was enough fuel to start them once again so quickly.
-
Again with politics… Sigh
In any case, today must be Argentina's happiest day since ever!

Now, imagine Brazil Vs Argentina in the finals and the same score of this game.

He is a 21 year old earning millions of dollars so if he had a bad personality outside the field its not very surprising and not very relevant too.
Mother of God what the hell was that game!! The Brazilian defense reminded me of the Derby County team's defense from the EPL some seasons back. No man marking, really sad zonal marking and the def mids were just sleeping the entire game. But good movement from Germany nevertheless.
-
The armed security for the German team.
And BBC being kind on their viewers

The man said it was Russia. With like 12 fouls or something close to it.

You are kidding, right? Argentina is as good as Brazil. It's not a team at all and the only player who really gave his best is now injured (Di maria). For football's sake and for our's sake, the best game would be Germany Vs Netherlands. And if we have this, don't forget the other funny part, we will have a gag game for the 3rd place, Brazil Vs Argentina where these 2 really bad teams who hate each other end up battling for nothing. Now, I am enjoying this world cup.
-
Well, that game last night was eh…man, I'm still totally dumbfounded.
Brazil's biggest loss in their history, the first time they've been defeated at home in x number of years, the first time they've ever lost by more than 2 goals in a WC match...
It's just insane.
The Germans were playing FIFA cutbacks for some of their goals it was that easy.
The Germans were so good, the Brazilians were an absolute shambles, and Scolari's team selection was crazy.
A recipe for World Cup history if there ever was one.
-
Me and my parents burst out into shocked laughter when goal 3 went in, we couldn't believe what was happening.
The 4th goal is going in and we're laughing our asses off and shouting, almost spooking the dog XDWe were witnessing glorious demolition, and loving every moment of it.
I also loved how the BBC pundits were having a (jokingly) heated debate
on whether Germany's attack was amazing or Brazil's defense was abysmal XD@xan:

Yeah… that was such a shocking season. My family tries its best to forget about that horror show. (We're Derby fans)
The first time they've ever lost by more than 2 goals in a WC match…
Actually, they lost 3-0 in the 1998 final.
-
@MDL:

Shit, so they did.
I must have misheard/missed part of the stat when they mentioned it last night.
Regardless, I think it'll be a while before we see this one beaten lol
-
Here in Singapore, everyone's taking the piss out of this anti-gambling ad given the match:
-
Brazil barely avoided suffering the worst defeat in their team's history. 1920 they lost 0-6 to Uruguay. It would've been even more painful to break yet another record.

Lol they couldn't have gotten closer to it.
Ozil doesn't miss right at the end or Oscar doesn't score….

I know that netherlands probably could be the much harder opponent in the final, but I still want them to advance and mop the floor with argentina. It's not going to be anywhere near the destruction we saw last night, but a hard earned win against argentina would be enough. Although maybe we would be better off with dealing with messi, instead of robben flying around and other strong players like van persie, sneijder etc. And please let there not be a penalty ending on sunday.^^

I do respect the fans a lot! I still remember the games, even towards the end of the season when it was pretty much confirmed that Derby would be relegated, the crowd still kept their cool and supported their team. It feels great to see the fans sticking to their teams in their good and bad times without showing off their anger.

Because jokes are so much funnier if you keep repeating them all the time.

I do feel if Netherlands and Germany clash in the final, Germans might not win :/ Their attackers are ridiculously potent but from whatever games I have seen in the WC recently, they seem to attack only through the center and not through the flanks which is highly non-German like. Gone are those days when Lahm used to bomb forward and give a gizzilion crosses. Even their counter attacks are center based and not wide. Considering the fact that the Dutch have some brutal central defensive midfielders, it won't be a surprise if the German attacks get blocked quite predictably. Not sure if they will adapt accordingly but will be interesting to see their plan B.
For today's game, I won't be surprised if one of the defensive mids of the dutch get a red card! It is known globally that if Messi is stopped, Argentina does nothing going forward especially since Di Maria is also off now so it's logical that Messi will be man marked like a bitch. But the lack of pace of their def mids might work in favor of Messi. Will be a fun confrontation to watch.

3 of the goals last night originated from the wing, though.
They weren't lumped in crosses, but Kroos' first goal and both of Schurrle's goals came from wide positions.

The number of attacks they did from the wings were relatively low as compared to the successful ones and yeah as you had mentioned it wasn't the proper crosses played from wide positions too which stretches the defense but rather a more compact version of it. Proper wingplay also includes overlapping fullbacks, who in this case, cut inside to play more in the central midfield area. I guess Lahm's flank runs are getting very less frequent as compared to how it was before. Perhaps his modified role in Bayern might have aided the coach for making that decision.

Problem are robben and van gaal.
Messi we do not fear, last time 4:0, and this time 5:0 if they go to final
