This actually gives me hope that this movie will just be another OP movie and they won't try to hype it up to the point it cannot possibly fail to dissapoint.
I really just want a fun distraction with some new anime-ey plot, not another overly hyped meh-fest. This relates mainly to SW as I have not seen Z yet but the reason is, got burned by SW's hype and I wanted to wait to see what people actually thought of it after they had time to reflect.
Not sure if it's just a special or a full-fledge movie.
Still feels like it was just yesterday when Z was released.

Getting various vibes from this, you'd think that Toei would announce a big film earlier if it is to be released in 2014. I thought they were drifting away from the 1 film per year production for better reception. Also '15th Anniversary' sounds like marketing to make it relevant, could just be a coincidence and it might be a huge production, well maybe not Film Z scale.
Z came out in 2012 so they are keeping up with the biyearly schedule. I assume this one won't be out until the end of the year.

Love how the outfits are in the person's color.
Franky's hair style and head wrap are great.
I like Usopp's outfit overall, while not the neck thing, rest looks 100% better than some outfits in the past.
Can't really see Brook's outfit but like the hat.

I think this poster will be used in the anime for it's 15th anniversary, it's not the movie outfits.

Wasn't expecting a new movie until 2015 but if Oda's not directly involved like with SW and Z then I'm sure they can get one out faster.

This news looks completely unreliable, the picture is from an unrelated Jump Festa 15th Anniversary promotion, and there's no source to back this news up. I'll believe it when I see it from a source with some sort of actual credibility.
I would expect this news when Z airs on television in a few days/weeks.
I was kind of thinking the same thing, it seems pretty odd that they would announce a new film before coming up with a title or even a plot first. Besides, I don't think animenewsnetwork has any article on this yet and they're usually on top of news like this.
