That was a pretty good episode. Consistent art and animation. Neat moments. QT Momonosuke. Minimal filler. Cool new outfits that I don't even remember seeing in the manga but were probably there anyway..
A+ if you ask me.

Well this ep was pretty enjoyable and relaxing. I really liked it. Especially Momo and Kinemon moment plus epic Law face XD
Ah, a very good episode. Animation that actually looked good and some great music choices. They used more quiet songs from earlier days, which added to the warm and also nostalgic feeling the episode had. The filler sequences were also well done.
To be honest, let's give the anime some minor credit for the second half of Punk Hazard. Yes, there were some pretty meh episodes inbetween, but many actually did the manga some justice. It's of course still far away from being a great adaptation, but they at least stepped up their game a little in comparison to some of the horrible stuff we got on Fishman Island for example.

He should definitely get a raise after this, considering that the guy from last week sits on **** (and the ep was terrible for the most part).
I agree, i'm no big fan of Shigefumi Shingaki. I think he was pretty good in Impel Down, but ever since Marineford almost all his episodes are really inconsistent, perhaps the most.

Yeah, his episodes have really looked like crap lately. The only episode he did that I thought was decent looking was the episode where Tashigi attacked law after he defeated smoker.

Nice episode, cried in a few places. The scene with Nami and Tashigi made me really happy. Baby Momo and all the Law stuff. Can't wait for next week!
This was even better than the actual chapter! I loved how they expanded the part with Nami and Tashigi, and building the stove.

Excellent episode, definitely the funniest one in a while! I loved the Brook moments, when they thought they killed him, Chopper freaking out over the kids, and any interaction between Law and the crew. Especially Chopper and Law, that is a hilarious match up.
The nostalgic songs were great too, and I hope they continue to use a diverse selection for future episodes.

That was one of the best episode I have seen in weeks! The feels and relaxing mood really helps after action-packed weeks of fighting. Law's reactions to everything is priceless. He is too serious a lot of times.
While many episodes in this arc were very good and did their manga chapters justice, this is the first episode in a VERY long time that I think actually outdid the manga chapter in every way. As others have said, this was an excellent episode and the perfect thing to watch while relaxing on a Saturday night. 10/10
Endo's directing made the episode for me. Really great execution for the jokes and emotional scenes, and pretty good filler.
Also, art was consistently good. Kudos to Yokoyama for improving his art, unless that's Hisada's fixes.
Crossword-o-meter gives Yokoyama **1/2 stars.
2 and a half stars seems kinda low for the director of one of the better episodes we have seen in a while.

I'm sure that the animation rating system is based on more than just art quality. There really wasn't much movement this episode. Yokoyama's previous episodes include 580, 600, and 612 (580 was an especially awful one).
I enjoyed this one quite a bit. There was some very funny scenes along with some genuinely emotional ones and some good direction and music choices. Plus, I've always liked these sorts of cheery and fun One Piece resolutions.
I forgot that Law literally chopped up the children into tiny pieces (off screen of course) leading to Choppers reaction. Having it done off screen gives a very humorous image of what Chopper must have seen when he opened that door. And I forgot how funny Brook "murdering" Kinemon was.
Lastly, there were some really creepy looking scenes of G5 goons in this one, by that I mean even more abnormal than usual.
Great episode all around. Then again, it had quite an eventful chapter to work with. So much so that the episode proper started only 4 minutes in. Nothing to complain about really. Brook murdering Kinemon had to be the best part. I also appreciate Sanji not letting Momo's behavior slide just because he's a kid.
Great episode, great funny moments, I always love the "party" episodes and It's nice to know what emperor Law wants to go after now.

great episode!! it had the same feeling one piece should have like some older eps. The art was perfect and the episode even outdid the manga. this ep was for me the best possible way to end this day. All that remains is to keep that quality for the action packed epicness to come.

This. Animation was awful in today's episode, only reason no one is complaining is because it was a dialogue heavy ep.
Also, people forget that Hisada is the Chief AD since Punk Hazard, one of the main reasons Yokoyama eps looking better than usual. You don't just become good out of the blue, I bet most of the key frames got corrected by Hisada.
Very well done episode! There was nothing that I can think of that was badly done. The pacing was solid and brisk, the art was pretty spot on, and the animation, for what there was as I noticed quite the bit of stills during some of the partying, was still good (helped that it was just a very dialogue heavy episode). Toei has always been pretty good when it comes to the party episodes after an arc is pretty much done, and this was no exception. We only have a couple more episodes of PH left, but I can honestly say that Punk Hazard was all-around well done imo. Definitely an improvement over FI.
Agree, great, very well done episode. Art and animation just fine. Especially Nami was very nice to look at. The ending (smoker and laws conversation…) had a greater impact than in the manga, now one knows what follows.
I just watched an episode where Nami was on screen and we didn't get shots of her breasts. They should keep that up.
Sanji's face kick was just awesome MUAHAHAHAHAHAAH
10/10 episode, for me it definitely beats its manga counterpart, enjoyed it thoroughly. Kinemon and Momonosuke's reunion was pretty emotional, and the "Let's keep living!" moment, which I was looking forward to, was pretty damn good. The filler felt very natural as well.

Compared to a lot of previous episodes, this one was amazing, though this should be the standard for such a popular anime. Most importantly, the pacing wasn't as damn slow as usual and any additional content fit very well with the canon.
There is still a lot of room for improvement but if only this episode's quality were the standard, yet, I guess, it's only wishful thinking.

Whose ratings are these exactly? Looked through past threads and I would have never rated a lot of those episodes so well.
10/10. Just as good as the chapter it adapted. The best end of arc party. I just loved all the humor and little character moments.
