You know as I look back at the first few arcs it really surprises me how the Grand Line isn't as terrible as everyone made it out to be.
I remember back when I was watching the Don Krieg arc and the way Gin explained the Grand Line I expected it to be full of dangerous monsters that would almost eat Luffy and his crew (Although that only REALLY happened when they accidently entered the calm belt), trecherous waters (Although they RARELY go through bad climate and even when they do it's not terrible), and come on really it's like people live ON the grand line and live normal lives as if there's nothing wrong with that meanwhile from what you've heard in past arcs you'd almost think that would be impossible.
I mean really was I the only one who thought the Grand Line would be a much more horrible and terrifying experience at first than it turned out to be?
