The Pokemon League is down. I didn't have the patience to do a whole lot of grinding, so my guys were kinda underleveled, but that was okay because it made them more difficult. Well, save for all the Supersonic/Confuse Ray spam they all used. That was incredibly aggravating.

The battle with Steven was pretty intense and did come down to the wire, though not quite to the "last-Pokemon-left-with-1-HP" level that it did my first time through Ruby. When I saw in videos that Mega Metagross had Giga Impact I was wondering why on earth it would have that, but now I know why: without its cooldown handicap it would've slaughtered everything.

I'm trying to breed one of those now. I've got perfect stats, nature, ability and egg moves worked in… but I dont think I have the patience to breed hundreds of eggs from this point... especially not when its a 1 in 6 chance of the proper stats, and a 1 in 3 chance of the proper ability... and combined odds are low of it being what I really want when it comes... though it would at least be "very good" though likely not perfect.

1)Is it super luck Absol? Pressure is worthless. But SL you can abuse some with its moveset and critical boosting items so that its getting criticals 50% of the time.
2)it has a mega form so it sorta has a second form. Its stats are still better than Mightyena's or Liepard even with only one form.

Jeez Guys, if you are gonna quit because my team that has a trevenant beated yours that has Rotom, Landorus, Mega Gallade, Ferrothorn, Heatran and a Blissey (Fuckin' Blissey) at least do it in turn 25 when i beated your rotom and don't start with your Blissey and then disconnect in turn like 62 and call it "Mad Trolling" cause you're sore.

Jeez, and i finally was gotten out of my worst tilt ever.

Or at least rage-quit when your +6 Mega Gallade fails to KO my Slowbro. That one i can get.

I think having the Zorua(with the ability you want) hold the Everstone helps the chance of the ability passing. It won't be 100% but better than normal

Everstone guarantees nature.

I've been getting a pretty good percentage on hidden ability (maybe 50%?) but its still no sure thing.

Anyway, I really doubt I'll have the patience to make hundreds of Mightyena. Even with foreign ditto and shiny charm.

Also wanna get a shiny prankster liepard at some point.

After a simple google search, abilities of the female parent are passed down 80% of the time. No mention of everstones. Though in my experience and many others, everstones have helped with passing down abilities

Nah, he has Ice punch on Gallade (Knock off is better tho) but Trevenant was the MVP of the battle. He weared down Rotom-W to its chesto, burned Landorus, leech seeded Gallade in the switch (that sealed my win actually) and made Blissey its bitch. But then he disconnected…fuckin.

Well, Slowbro also pulled his weight but he's goddamn Slowbro so that's a given.

Took me the whole day after murdering the shiny Carvanha to find another one. Guess my natural shiny charm doesn't work well in oras

Then moves like slash, night slash, psycho cut, shadow claw or stone edge… and all the moves will be teir 5 crit chance... 50% chance... you'll be getting almost nonstop criticals. (Though night slash and shadow claw hit the same things, and night slash gets STAB, so its by far the better choice.)

Actually, looking it up... they actually RAISED the percentages in gen 6. Holy crap. It now has 50% chance at tier 3... and 100% chance of critting if its a tier 4 or 5. (I guess to compensate for lowering the strength of crits.) That's... crazy. It means you will ALWAYS be getting crits once you get those moves and items. Daaaamn.. Can that REALLY be right? I need to play Absol again.

Yep it's pretty crazy, I caught an Absol to do exactly that once I found out they raised the crit accuracy. I've also been using a Kingdra with sniper to get the damage back up higher, a scope lens plus one turn at the start for focus energy, and you have constant 2.25 times damage.

Yeah it's ridiculous how high it is. I however decided not to go with those and just have mine use the Life Orb it came with. Very few Pokemon I fought with Absol stand up after one hit.

Nice question. I'd want a Pelipper, because I've seen this awesome picture with the trainer sitting in its mouth like a hot tub and flying across the world - awesome.
I also want a shiny Greninja. Not just for battling, but it's awesome and a ninja. So useful.
I'd want something cuddly and warm, like a Ninetales.
And Tropius is awesome because of the fruit that apparently is nutritious enough to live off it alone.

I was curious myself, so after checking serebii:

Critical Hits have levels to their strength, that is, a certain percentage the move will be one.

Most moves that suggest a critical in their description start out as tier 1, where the percentage is only 6.25%.

for Gen II - V: 6.25% -> 12.5 % -> 25% -> 33.3% -> 33%
(meaning the greatest chance a possible-critical move could land such a hit is 33%, or 1/3 of the time.)

for Gen VI: 6.25% -> 12.5% -> 50% -> 100% -> 100%
(meaning there's a chance you'll always get a critical hit!!!)

Holding Razor Claw, Scope Lens, or using Focus Energy raises a move's "tier".

Wow. I can't believe I just got all possible starters with their hidden abilities at complete random. Got Mudkip with Damp, Treecko with Unburden, Chimchar with Iron Fist, Piplup with Defiant and Turtwig with Shell Armor to go with the other starters I already have. Just need to wait for the Johto and Unova starters to get their Hidden Abilities and I'll have the full set. Also got to Silver Rank on my Secret Base. Platinum Rank just seems so far away even with secret pals T_T.

Actually, most moves that suggest a critical start out at tier 2. "Higher chance of criticals" and all that. Tier 1 is the default that every move is at.

And Super Luck doubles that, putting those moves at tier 4, and item puts it at tier 5.

That doesn't seem right. Tiers 4 and 5 being the same seems off. I coulda sworn it was 50% at tier 5… which was only obtainable with super luck AND an item.

Oh well, they've tweaked it since, so it doesn't matter now.
