Mega-gengar in shuffle annoy me… I have 1 mega and 3 others strong agaist it but it simply refuse to let me win anyways... I've had at least 15 tries already but I can't get it lower that 1 quarter of it's health... Grrrr... :getlost:

I think Catch rates of the main area and catch rates of the expert area are different. expert area pokemon are supposed to be harder to beat (supposed to) so they are easier to catch whereas the main area pokemon are supposed to be easier to beat so the catching them will be harder.
That's my theory anyway
But doesn't that defeat the purpose of a percentage? Like if the percentage probability of capturing a pokemon is 70%, then I expect that you should be able to catch it seven times out of 10. Just arbitrarily fixing it just because you're in one area or another defeats the purpose of providing that percentage

A new event is live for the chance of winning a Blastoisenite.
It works the same like with the Lucarionite, clearing the stage and get a good ranking. -
My current high score for the Blastoisinite is 11,447. I hope I can maintain staying in the top 20,000 for this Mega Stone. Mega Blastoise would probably help out with Heatran and Blaziken.

Well, I've beaten and caught Zapdos… beating Raikou consistently but not catching... and still need to get Grovyle.
My score is high enough right now but that'll plummet tomorrow after more people play. need to get the legends to get a real good score on blastoise.

Man the number of players in Europe/Australia seems to be really low, they lowered our numbers to 10k while the US kept the 20k and Japan the 50k, I'm with 11k rating rigth now, I believe I was 300 in the morning but didnt play again for like 8 hours now, need to check where I am.

Same here. Suicune I got lucky on with 41%. He was the hardest one of the Beasts to catch for me.
Man I plummeted quickly in the Competition. Went from 2,000s to 10,000s. As of this post, I got into the 9,000s (hanging around 11,780 points).

Man its going to be hard to stay on top this time with Europe only having a prize for the top 10k with 11k I'm at 7800 already not even sure if I'm even further down and I have no money to buy boosts only got 2000 coins rigth now, going to try to save coins the entire week I guess.

Finally beat and caught Blaziken. Used a Great Ball for the catch but man that stage is a pain. Aerodactyl, Kyogre, Aurorus and Swampert was my team.

I'd recommend the normal Ampharos stage for leveling up Pokemon. Even when you can't beat it you gain a fair amount of XP.

I downloaded Rumble World since I haven't played one of these before. Gotta say I'm tempted to get the 200 diamonds for $1.79. But I'll play through a little bit and see how many and how often diamonds are given. Looking at the prices of items in the game, 200 seems like it could go a decent way. We'll see

I liked Rumble for the Wii, I treated it like an arcade-style beat-em-up and played it with friends. you can clear the whole game in one sitting, and it was fun to be "catching" new pokemon right along side the other guy, getting pissed when he got a lucky super-powerful one, and trying to steal it and use it instead when he died, etc. But I had some issues with the actual gameplay and such.
Rumble Blast on the 3DS fixed almost all those issues, and though I never got to play it co-op I'm sure that would have been just as fun as before. But I appreciated having more "meat" to the game, kept me entertained for quite a while.
Rumble U looked awful, was a huge step down, I skipped it entirely.
Now I'm downloading Rumble World, will give my impressions after I've played it a bit. But I'm looking forward to it, seems much more in the vein of Blast. I'm just worried the pay-barriers will be 2stronk

Wow. I managed to up my place in the Ranks for the Blastoisinite. Was pushed down into the 17,000 area but got my old score up from 12,093 to 12,577 to go back into the 14,000 area. Man, 5 more days of hoping I don't get shoved out of the top 20,000.

I never manage to line up four coins. Every time I try I can't beat Meowth afterwards and I end up with no coins. So I play safe and just get the three coins as fast as I can.

For the record, 5 Meowth coins is worth 500.
Not worth the effort in his 8 turn stage. Better to try and set up for the 4 and just get 300.
Also, Rumble World pretty much proves what I've always suspected… a Pokemon Musou game would be great. The framework is there, the movement being dictated by agility and whatnot and being able to actually run around enemies and using attacks is great... just allow each critter 4 moves, limit it to a party of six,leveling... and don't be a microtransaction game.
But it's like 70% of the way there towards nearly a dream game..

Fucking finally!!! Mega Mawile beaten, at last. I knew using an Interference Disruption would do the trick. It was either that or catch Lucario, which is a chore.

It also kinda sucks that there was an infinite money exploit a few weeks ago that's been patched. So there's some folks that seriously have all the money in the world and there's no way to punish them for it.

New high score of 13,497 for the Blastoisinite. I don't think I'll ever get that lucky again. I guess I'll just wait the 4 remaining days and see what happens. Better start saving coins up for Gengar and Zoroark before tackling Mega Mewtwo Y.

Went ahead and used up my coins to purchase the -1 mon, and easily got a score around 24,000, which puts me currently in 443rd place.
With that, I'm good. If another 19,500 people get ahead of me in the next couple days after that, they reeeally just wanted it more, but I'm getting tired of grinding the same mons on the same stages.

Rumble World seems like the same ol' stuff, so far. Which is good, I guess. I don't see a TM machine yet, or a reward for releasing multiples of the same pokemon (it used to be that if you release 5 of one type, you are given their evolution). Maybe that comes later in the game? The stages are kinda short, too. But I guess it's not bad for being free, I can use all my balloons once before I go to work, and then again in the evening.
It's too bad there's no co-op, because that was definitely the best part of the earlier games.

Well, I think I'm addicted to pokémon rumble world… Never really played the others before, but since that one was free, I downloaded it and I can't stop playing it. It's very simple, but fun and adorable. I'm really surprised to see a game like that for free.

That'll let you unlock all the baloon, and buy all the tree upgrades and then still have a ton left over for clothes and items and pokemon storage and whatever else… plus get 20 more gems a day so you can replay stages as much as you want. It basically just takes the F2P aspect out entirely and fully unlocks the game, forever.
(All the balloons alone is about 700 gems)
Its basically the price of an actual game... and then it caps off. Which is an incredibly fair way of doing it. And you can even do it piecemeal instead of all at once... and you get a permanent final reward... unlike the Shuffle stuff where you're at the mercy of the RNG no matter what.As is the refresh rate is generous enough it doesnt seem like that big a deal till the later baloons.

YES! I finally got both Gengar and Zoroark! Now to level them up, save up those coins, maybe get a jewel if they give one out for the Groudon stage when it gets released whenever, and finally beat Mega Mewtwo Y.

Mega Gengar was really hard for me. Even the few times where I had used items, I still wound up losing. Mega Mawile was no problem though. The disruption delay was enough for me to beat him.
Got a new high score of 14,467 for Blastoisinite and I'm currently setting around 15,966/20,000 with about 7 hours to go. I hope that score will be enough but I've got that feeling I'm gonna get shoved out of top 20,000 before 1 AM EST T_T.

RNG plays a big factor.
It is a hard fight, largely because it takes columns out of the middle which makes it was harder to get accidental matches. But if you happen to get a stack of things falling on you in a good combo order, well…

So I was at rank 3700 / 10000 an hour before the event ends. I hope that was good enough for the Blastoisenite.
