Just beat Maxie for the last time, man I love his reaction after he loses lol.
And made it to the Cave of Origin to catch Groudon, whew, these new gen games love their cutscenes don't they? No way in hell am I going to look for a good nature when there are lengthy cutscenes before and after I fight Groudon. I just killed him and moved on.

I just hatched a shiny Buneary! It took 1,031 eggs (ugh…) but it's PERFECT! It's a female and it has 5 IVs (only missing Sp A) so it's FLAWLESS! =D
Only problem is that it doesn't have the damn egg moves I was breeding for because I took the Buneary that was breeding out for a second. >_>
But I don't even care anymore. I GOT IT!!!! =D

GTS seriously start to annoy me… I mean, yeah, it already annoyed me before but... Come on! Asking for a legendary or for a high-leveled pokemon in exchange for a low-level common pokemon? Or worse, asking for a event-only that can't be traded or a pokemon with a level impossible without hacking like a low-level last evolution... Now, I have to use wondertrade in hopes that I get the starters or the fossils pokemon I don't have. And yes, I consider them as common, because I know that a lot of people breed the starters for various reasons and the fossils... they are so common in the mirage island that I got like 3 of each catchable in my version and a Old Ember just by smashing all the rocks in the mirage islands I was hunting on.
Sorry about the ranting... But I do think that the GTS shouldn't allow to ask for a pokemon that had to be hacked or for an even-only that can't be traded (Like Keldeo, Diancie, ect). That should be allowed only in direct trades. Would make things much more easier for many people.
On a happier note... I totally want to cosplay that new version of Magma Admin Tabitha! He's so funny... Even though I was sure that he was a girl until a few minutes ago, when I looked at his Bulbapedia page... I mean... Tabitha's totally a girl's name, and the way he act, he seem to have a crush on Maxie, so yeah... Still want to cosplay him, though...

Working thru some stuff. Dunno how long i will be here.

I'll btw reserve one of those two if you don't mind. Depending on how much of your nerves the breeding cost you, you can choose up to 2 battle maison items for it. I should've 200+ BP on my AS already.

Nah, getting one is all you need. The rest isn't luck, it just happens naturally.
Make sure you keep one in storage so you can spread it around later. Pokerus goes dormant after a day.
or spread it to a random mon to be your carrier and put that in storage..

Little kids play the game too, ya know. They just don't know better.
And Legendaries get released in events all the time at different levels, so they can't cap that.
They shouldn't allow you to ask for a fully evolved starter below level 36 no, but I imagine that's a harder thing to program for or they would have done it by now. (not aided by the fact some mons can evolve at any level with stones, and that's just a minimum level, not an only level, and such.)
Really what should happen is offers should clear out after a week or something… though ensuring the data returns to the user might be tricky?
Though if its just starters you want, breed a farm of your own and offer them. Starters trade for starters pretty regularly.

Totally agree. Especially asking for event legendaries is stupid. In Y I managed to trade for every non-event legendary with only starters, though, so that's something. Looking is impossible, but asking for trades works as soon as you figure out which trades get accepted and which won't. (e.g. Froakie for legendary won't work in Y, but gen 2-5 starters will, at least for Xerneas/Yveltal. Then offer the mascot legendary for Kyogre/Palkia/Zekrom and voilà!)

Soooo… I was trying to capture Giratina and after throwing a Quick ball, weakening it and throwing all of my 20 Ultra balls, it seemed that it was just impossible to catch it. I decided "oh, whath the heck, I should as well throw my last Quick ball before resetting" And, of course... said Quick ball managed to catch it...:blink: Ok... Why do my Quick ball suddenly act like a Timer Ball?

The threshold on catch rate for legends like that are so absurdly low, that the ball you use barely matters even with the usual precautions you can take (HP in red or stat infliction). You can in theory just throw a bunch of regular Pokeballs at it while it's still at full HP and still catch it in the same or less time than someone who throws a bunch of better balls with the weakening preps.
I've had moments where I just catch the things on the first turn without even doing anything. It's all luck and no skill

It took me over 50 balls to catch Kyurem, and another 50 for Registeel. Absurdly low catch rate is an understatement.

This is why you only use Quick and Dusk balls for legendaries.

And Timer Balls. After ten turns, they've got a 4x catch rate, which is only beaten by the Quick Ball on turn 1 (and considering how there are no roamers in this game and so they'll always be at full health in the first turn when the Quick Ball's effectiveness is at its peak, I'd argue that the Timers are far more helpful in this context), and the Master Ball.
…Of course, even with that it still takes forever. I think I used like 40 balls to catch Azelf in Platinum, if not even more.

I think that Quick Balls have a higher critical capture chance.
Then again catching was always based on luck and never skill.

I thought that was only exclusive to Safari Zone Pokemon…..but it has been awhile since I played Red & Blue so what do I know anymore.
I've often wondered about that myself; seems like being supported by people who only want you there so the world can end in fire (with you going to Hell in the process) would be somewhat off-putting

Every gen, they make a set of legendary Pokemon that stay unreleased until the next Pokemon movie comes out.
Hoopa comes out next year and Volcanion won't be out until 2016.
