Oops I meant Xenosaga 3
The end of the series both literally and figuratively… Thank God. I'd hate to see what kind of designs they come up with in a 4th installment.

Finally,an end to the series.
It was dragging on too long.
The graphics look pretty good there…
I like the new art style.
Lovin the new KosMos
I looked at the title of this thread and accidentally launched a nuclear warhead at Square Enix corporate headquarters. Gomen.
Anyways on topic: Looks damn sweet. KOS-MOS looks hot. :D
Oh those are some nice drawings! It really makes me want to buy the whole series
Last installment eh?
That officially makes the first game's end boss battle laaaaaaaaaaame. Even if they had 5 games that as a slowly progressive element would be neat but down in 3 huh?
sigh well guess this means I'll have to bite the bullet and finish 2 someday soon.
Well that sarcastic title switcheroo backfired :( Unless you guys have more biting sarcasm than I do.
Where's the dismay at what total hoochies they have turned their heroines into. I mean it looks like they should have some terribly shameless and crass music video as the intro movie, just like in FFX-2. I put up with a lot of crap in Xenosaga I and II out of my love for the almighty Xenogears but I think this is really pushing it over the edge and into the abyss.

Sorry, I was busy. Let's do this thing really quick.
Wow, Square-Enix is making the prophecy come true, the prophecy being "In the future, all Square-Enix games will have scantily clad females and prissy metrosexuals and you will not be able to tell them apart."
There ya go. Try the veal.
It would be true if Xenosaga were made by Square-Enix and not Namco.
I am of the opinion that robots shouldn't be sexy, damnit. They should be efficient killing machines, not supermodels!

I hear that. Even though disc 2 of XG is a crime against humanity.
I'm not so taken back by the designs simply because I guess I just saw it coming. Have you SEEN some of the cosplay AV spawned from the original designs? Gotta go with what sells right ^O^

Ohh, pressing X a million times and having to put up with a gajillion dialogues… Remind me not of the pain!
I only played Xenogears; I haven't played any of the two Xenosagas, and now I think I wouldn't ever. Xenogears rock, tho.
I actually didn't mind that about XG disc 2 at all. I think generally for me, long cutscenes/dialogue make or break depending solely on whether or not I like the story. If the story is boring and its taking away from the amount of gameplay you get, down with that. If the story is good and taking away from the gameplay, generally I won't care because its very rare that I am actually really impressed or engaged by an RPG storyline. Xenogears definitely falls into the latter category. Most of the time you buy a videogame for the interaction, but occasionally you run across something that's half a videogame, and half a movie, or book, and in that case I think you have to alter your perceptions to also judge it by what makes a book or movie good.

Well that was actually the root of the problem. I was a Freshman (or was I a Sophomore?) in high school at the time and without actually playing it, the continuity gaps just threw me way off guard. I honestly couldn't figure out what was going on. Spaceships were transforming. I was fighting lots of stuff every once in a while and basically a lotta shit happened that hit me out of the blue. Add in the naturally intricate and obscure story and well, I was just left a confused mess without even a gameplay experience. I've read some of the history online and it's REALLY interesting but I dunno if I could go through the entire game again.
