IMO, he deserves (****1/2). He has proven to be consistent, and almost on model.
The stream clock says 8:30 am, but it should be 9 am in japan. Toriko should be airing now. Any idea what´s going on?

I don't know, the stream doesn't even show Fuji TV I think.

This one has it on right now though.
The broadcaster is still playing One Piece at 9:30 on his channel. Toriko was a rerun today apparently.
Edit: Toriko got pushed back to 10:00 only for today, which is why the channel was changed.
Nope, Toriko did air at 9 am as usual. I followed the 2ch screencaps.
I´m guessing the channel didn´t broadcast TOEI during Toriko because today it was a filler ep.
YES!!! Loved that punch! Way to end the episode!
Finally we are going to get to the BEST part of PH next week!!! Bet it will end with Law cutting everything up!!
The episode had some nice visuals and stuff, but something about it really bothered me: the muscial choice. Wether it was Brownbeard's emotional moment or Luffy's epic entrance & punch, instead of having an emotional or epic song they only played the ones, that sayed 'Look, the enemy is evil!".
Like, from the manga I've got: Brownbeard is having a tragic moment & Luffy makes an cool entrance and delivers a really statisfying punch, because Caesar is acting evil.
From the anime I've got: Caesar is evil.

Nothing to add here, felt exactly the same about it.
But apart from that I think it was a solid episode. They could have done a better job with the Zoan army, but at least they got Caesar's scenes right.
!
10/10 episode.
And I don't throw this around often.
9/10 fucking AWESOME
but you know it's gonna be awesome when luffy makes this face…
!
anyway, the animation looked nice, the pacing was decent, and i really felt for Brown-beard… to the guys that didn't feel the feels I did. now if you excuse me Im gonna go play some more broken GTA online!!!!
btw did anybody feel like Luffy was drawn just like Goku would be in this episode??? idk i just felt that Goku vibe.

that scene was this
!
Not the actual army
I thought it was strange how they first showed Luffy punching Caesar with Elephant Gun, then showing Luffy and Momo arriving to the scene and then showing EG again instead of just starting with Luffy getting there in the first place and then showing the punch.
Other than that, though, I thought this was an amazing episode.

Because the punch was supposed to be unexpected.

Yes, I only took one screenshot. The following scene shows the zoan army, poorly done
!

And there was no animation involved, so that's not really an excuse. But whatever, the rest of the episode makes up for it, easily.
Only one word can describe this episode. AWESOME.
A lot better than I expected.
Caesar is easily my top five favorite villains, and the anime just solidifies it.
I also thought the music fit perfectly. Tense, dramatic music for a tense, dramatic reveal.
Art: A
Animation: A
Content: B
Pacing: A
Overall: A-
Was I watching the same episode as you guys? Have you guys lowered you standards because of the trash that comes out 90% of the time? This episode was alright, but nothing that special about it.
The only good episode this whole arc was the one where Luffy and Caeser were fighting.
Punk Hazard continues on a streak of good-great episodes. This one ranked up there w/ being "great". The direction and pacing was solid. Nothing felt too overly drawn out, the music choices were appropriate, the art and animation was pretty good…nothing too fancy, but serviceable. Brownbeard's helplessness was done very well. I was feeling for him, and this is coming from someone that hated the guts outta him when he was first introduced way way back. Seriously, when I saw first saw him, I wished he would die...now I was sad of what was happening to him...well done Oda. Throw in Ceasar rubbing everything in BB's face and gloating to Luffy followed that by that last punch...just great. PH truly is being done some really good justice in the anime despite some hiccups in the beginning portion. ^^
Oh my god… That episode was awesome; I am highly satisfied. I had a smirk on my face the whole time because of Caesar. I'm glad Oda gave him a humorous personality. I'm starting to love the guy even though he's a bastard.
They fixed the error with Luffy's punch.
The first half were done pretty well and surprisingly the flashbacks were bit touching:wassat:, but the ending was pretty much epic, So overall the episode was pretty awesome.

Guess which part Watch OP decided to leave out of the title ?
The recycled animation, especially on Brownbeard when he was flailing about, kinda hurt the tone of the scene.

Nope. You just have your expectations unrealistically high.
If you thought this was trash, I don't want to know what you consider "good".
This one was pretty compentently handled in terms of art, animation, and direction. Not the best of this arc, but pretty above average. The series seems pretty determined to use most of their A-effort on the Luffy/Caesar Clown scenes.
I enjoyed the personal bitterness and betrayal Brownbeard feels for CC as I did in the manga. One of the best moments of the arc, really. The episode handled it well enough thanks to some good facial animation, direction, and voice acting.
616 looks excellent by the preview. Some of very good animation and art styling there has my expectations high.
This episode was so much better than last week's, which was overdone as hell and everyone involved was struggling to get through the episode. Even if it wasn't a high bar to pass and I didn't think the original material in this episode was brilliant to start with, it really shows the difference direction can make.

Idk how thats poorly done… it's just a different angle.... both are intimidating.

I really don't see a problem with it other than it is taken at a different angle.
16 chars of Dat Clown. :ninja:
616 looks really great animated ! 615 was meh…
Really great episode, Isochi delivered again. And the end was classic One Piece.
IMO one of the best ep of the arc if not the best so far.
I'm glad they nailed it, because for me this was one of the best chapters of the arc, you could really feel for Brownbeard.
i love momo's voice pick it fits perfectly; apart from that, the episode was ok they did all they could to stretch the content and keep the good pacing for dressrosa, or so i hope.
I loved this chapter, it was really great. I really felt the Brownbeard part, poor guy, and then Luffy was awesome. I liked the music choices, i think some of them weren't used since forever.
It was a great episode but the only I didn't like was when it was rewinded to show Luffy and Momo entering the scene. This scene wasn't needed…
It was a good episode of One Piece, it didn't feel slow at all, it was so much better than last week's episode, and that ending was pretty amazing.
The anime realy loves Ceasar.
9/10. Brilliant episode. The music worked perfectly. The proper emotions were there. The end was just epic.
One of the series' best moments….NEXT WEEK! I'm so excited!
