I'm gonna reply with bold.. again.
@Krillin:
Been thinking about Fujitora recently Maybe you shouldn't? Coming as the only person (that I know of) who called Fuji out on what he planned to do, then the bet he made before he spoke of it, I'm not surprise a lot of people don't understand. Except now.. when there's clear and obvious indications on what he plans to do and if you or anyone else still can't accept it and think it's stupid and then that leads you to question EVERYTHING he does? then all I can say is everyone CAN state their opinions, but if you don't know the full facts then your opinion amounts to nothing.. or maybe I'll just say this another way, nicely: everyone can be a critic, but not everyone should be.
Couldn't he have set up horizontal gravity around dresserosa to oppose and slow bird cage contracting? No, there was no indication he could use his powers to cover the entire island. Think of it this way, the Admirals can and possibly destroy an island through an attack, but their attacks are not as huge as something as huge as Dressrosa. That's as ridiculous as the people who was asking why Fujitora not cut the Bird Cage, even though it was obvious to most it was Haki-imbued and I already said how Haki works, but still people had to ask.. what's more ridiculous is expecting Fujitora to send an "air"/Ki slash to cut all around the island. That one was hilarious. LOL.
Or better yet form a tunnel by making a hole in the ground… which we have seen him do before, then use his horizontal gravity to make the tunnel, then dig up? Heck before it could have been justified as pointless since it would lead into the sea, but with birdcage contracting there is so much free landmass. Finally you're making sense (or at least you think so) but no, first off, that'd defeat the purpose of why he's not acting. Every exact one of them. First off, have you ever believed in someone before? Well I won't hold it out against you if you haven't, but more to the point, to understand Fuji (take it from me), you have to question each and every of his actions and I don't mean in just the literal sense. If Fuji did that, he would have destroyed the city/island he was trying to protect. He would have gone against his orders (you know how big the top echelons of the Marines are on orders, do you not? or maybe you'll forget conveniently like that dude who got banned who shall not be named). Not to mention the fall.. You might think doing that is better than death but if he believes/know that Luffy would be able to defeat Doflamingo then why not take that gamble and focus on minimizing the citizens casualties? As been (obviously) pointed out, he's a gambler.
Also I can't quite recall did he use his powers to stop pica's statue falling at all? (I know elizabello helped out) but we know Fuji can lift stuff (he made his ship fly and flew on stone)? You forgot this?
Could he not just have lifted Pica off the ground? completely ruining his DF from being able to work I think your problem is you think Fujitora should stand AGAINST the whole family, when he already clearly said he only plans to protect Dressrosa. But to be clear, Zoro separated Pica to prevent him from escaping - just being lifted does not ruin his powers.
His eyesight should be returned I think still, hopefully he gets healed Why? whatchu got against badass blind characters? Especially when the problems he has seems to be YOUR problems?
The character doesn't hold up under scrutiny. Read the last two sentences in my first paragraph. Darth has been right in being dubious of him The poster was toxic and a lot of you have been afflicted.
@Krillin:
Ahh good to see he's not a scumbag steve at least.
Also Kanjuro's drawings come to life….. could he not draw a trap door? I didn't recall it in the manga but in his anime introduction he had used it to create a hiding spot
So it's not only Fuji but you forgot about Kanjuro too? [hide][/hide] No trap door, maybe a hole but more importantly a boulder with iron bars painted and the fact that he hid. The bird was conjured too. But you do realize, IF it worked that way.. even though I'm not sure how there'd be possible a huge enough trap door that can cover the entire island for it to have space underneath.. if it worked that way, it'd be the same as Fujitora making a hole. Just… saiyan.. (get it? Krillin.)
@joekido:
That's what happens when you add so many plotlines in one arc. Oda can't think things out. A fricken shame
I'm one that lets people say their opinions and respect it, I truly do. But this is how many times now that you've taken cheap shots on the author just for your own shallow reasoning? and in fact, I do try to read what you post when I can and even replied to you that one time. Maybe that's a "me" problem..
But, this is just my opinion - you're trying way too hard.
