Aoshima Hitoshi is a second-year student in high school, who wishes he had a girlfriend. One day he wakes up for an unknown reason 10 years in the future, and he is married to the prettiest girl in school, Wagatsuma Ai! How has their relationship grown from mere acquaintances to husband and wife!?

A little advertisement for a very good serie from shonen magazine, which I don't know if it is very famous, but should be considering how funny it is. Although the setting is not the most original (a looser is in love with a beautiful girl) the comedy is really great since it has everything to make good jokes :time skip, idiots (… and which ones). Many references to Japan culture and even some mangaka style pastiches.

PS: I advise to read it on batoto so as to have the real first chapters first (the serie was transfered from another magazine which put a little mess in the scanlation order but everything is fine now)

Yes because he is not the bravest character. But this part of the plot is a bit like how I met your mother. Most of the interest of the manga is in the comedy, it's not a romance and a lot of chapters are episodic.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I love this and been recommending it in the recommendation thread. The humour is indeed great and I love the constant pop culture references to other manga, anime and music & television etc. and the breaking of the 4th wall (like the characters saying that Aoshima should not play the guitar, or else it will resemble a different manga and they get sued) Not to mention all the chapters are named after rock songs.

The premise is pretty much that the MC gets all kinds of hints during his timeskips from Wagatsuma about how their relationship was formed and tries to work with that information in the present time. The current arc where they are forming a cultural festival band is just hilarious.

I really like how the love triangle is handled, thanks to the time slipping.

And in general, I just like how the title is basically 'My wife is my wife'.

At least two more times in the special chapters. The first time is what prompted Aoshima to go 'I LOVE JAPAN' to Sylvia. The second time, right after, shows that didn't shake Sylvia from being his wife.

I laugh so hard when I read this page. But yes, pretty much every chapter is pure gold

Concerning the love triangle, I don't know if it changes in the non translated chapters but Sylvia was just his wife in one time skip. Since then it is more friendship than love.

Been catching up on this. That classroom confession was quite clever. The future shitty stuff happening to the friends is some nice dark comedy.

But the guy made one mistake! Porn doesn't have to be a conversation destroyer, even if you drop a mag. At a job I worked one time, me and this girl were in the adult section with the beads covering the doorway and everything, and it wasn't really awkward. Just talk about it all Seinfeld-like, don't make a big deal out of anything. Is the furniture in one of the DVD covers tacky? Well, talk about that.

I'm quite fond of we're getting the payoff right now, basically, we just have to see how he manages to get there. And boy I tell ya, it'll be a journey just as long and hard as the Grand Line from what I'm seeing so far (only a few chapters in). Though apparently this transforms into a love triangle? Hmm.

Indeed, but I wouldn't worry to much even if the plot seems to fasten I believe the manga is quite successful so I don't think it will end in a near future. Also the scanlation has quite a few chapters before it catches up.

Magazine has really a great linup at the moment. Surprisingly, I think I'm addicted to more of its series than Jump ones.

On the plot itself I wonder how Aoshima will deal with the fact that he promised his 2 wifes 2 different locations…

xD Ahahaha, I'm so glad I watched Naussica before reading this series, so many jokes.

It took me a few seconds to recognize Nausicaa costume but when I did and understood they compared the Women hormons with the Bug spores, I did have a hard time breathing myself. And the page before with Itou speaking about the smelling panties legacy was already hilarious.

And yes I guess we will have a confession soon (next chapter is the end of the volume…). But I doubt Ai will accept it immediatly. Next time skip will be interesting too on that matter.
