eh… you guys are TOO bitter about it I feel.... YGO cards were dubbed to hell but it doesn't change how enjoyable the game is... and unless you can all read amazing japanese whats the harm in a bit of dubbing so you can PLAY the game?

Its not really the dubbing, thats a small part of it, but I also really dont feel like getting involved in another card game.

I have no problem with card games, but the main reason I avoid them are the overly expensive cost to keep buying cards. (sure, you spend about $10 on the starter deck.. but then you get addicted and must buy the boster packs as well) I know this because I was into Pokemon, back when it was all popular 6-7 or so years ago, I lost a TON of money buying cards, and got NOTHING for them later.
Just a waste of money, IMHO. If you enjoy it and have many friends into it as well though, it could be profiting on the happiness level for a while.
I'm just not into card games though.
I wish I had friends who played DaD though, because I really want to learn how to play. (being a girl in my school really sucks.. there are like, no other tomboys… and the ones I know don't play DaD)

I want a few cards, as art of my favourite characters (and placeholders, until Series 95 of the POP figures comes out, and they're so desperate for new designs they do Kuroobi and Arlong :D). I have no interest in the game (nobody to play against locally) and no desire to own hundreds of cards.

Yeah I hear you about the price x,x thats why I ebay it or buy from USA sites… works out cheaper for me.

I hear that…...this game seems very simple & quick but at the same time fun, like the commercial says, Good & Fast don't always go together, but in this case I think it does.

I've only seen them in japanese… they have attacks of like... 400's and 500's so it does seem simple.. got the link to the english site at all?

Hell ya I'm going to get the card game. I may not really like the One Piece anime here in the US but still I'm a huge One Piece fan and next of all it might be actually fun. I personally want to get the oversized golden Luffy card XD

I'd get them to get my favourite characters. The Kuro Neko Pirate Crew, including Kuro and Jango, and Bon Clay, Pell, etc…
I actually play YGO and agree with funkyfunkyusopp. I get mine from buying a few boosters, but mostly I trade and sell/buy off ebay.

I don't know, I have a feeling that this will die quickly kinda like the Yu Yu Hakashu card game… (hmm I wonder why thats not on TV anymore?).
My interest in card game's is slowly dying saddly. I used to be obsessed with Yugioh... and yes still Pokemon... but I've seen the serious gaming enviornment... I mean people really go crazy over card games (seriously, I had one guy who almost wanted to kick someones ass because he was talking to someone in the tournament).
Plus you almost have to play the same thing as everyone else or else you won't win... meaning you can't be creative about anything! Sorry for being off topic...
Yeah I don't think I'll play... it seems too much like the Yu Yu Hakashu card game. But I will keep my Luffy card I got for free.

If yer talking about all the masses of BLS and warrior decks in ygo I agree –;; I get dissed cus I use beatdown and it's a beatdown that doesn't rely on any BIG cards.... I have one sac monster..

How much are the cards? I have a load of the Japanese ones that I collect purely for the artwork. But I want the English Mohji card! =D If the packs are like 2 bucks, you got me sold, but if they're like Pokemon cards were way back when (I think like 4 bucks?), nooo way.

Booster Packs are 3 bucks a pop…...but if all you want is Mohji, then I suggest just spening $7.25 for a Starter Deck, because me & my sis bought one & I THINK she got him. But I hafta get back to you to be certain.

Double argh. But still, packs seem cheaper in the US than the UK. For YGO, they can charge us around £3 per pack, which I THINK roughly translates to $5-6.

Anyways, can you mix and match pirate crews? I'd love to have Kuro and Jango in the same crew as Usopp, Robin and Fullbody for example

Where would this forbidden planet be? Swindon has none… it has no anime stores and no card game stores... and it'll cost too much to import...
