Movie 6 like totally give "blast" because it gave something fresh comparing to the previous movie.
The style also adapted into several Anime episodes and the creepy element also there in Strong World (when Shiki trapped Luffy cs.) which I think showing the important impact of this movie.
Movie like #6 gave its maker the freedom to explore One Piece into anything that is possible from One Piece.
When we can see Oda's thinking in Movie 10 and Movie 12, we might be surprised more with the story line if the writer is not Oda. Strong World, despite it's high quality animation, the story line somewhat predictable and it is something that I can read in the manga (when I expect something else from movie).
But from how the pace of movie 10 and 12 going (which harvested lots of million Yen), I think the next movie will come in the same pace. ((if that means squeeze Oda out, I will be really really sad that's why I expecting quality like Movie #6))
If Law become fix member, we will see him and the Hearts in the next movie, I think, which probably won't come out this year. If that's happened and I were in Japan, totally won't miss it :happy: .

@Monkey:
Not trying to start a shipping debate, but Dancer Violet seems to be hitting it up with Sanji.
As for the next movie, I have a new idea. It'd be centered around Sanji and the New World Central Fighting Tournament (the one Ideo is a 2-time champion of). It'd be darker in tone than the typical One Piece movie but not to the extent of Movie 6 (so it'd be like 5 and Z).
The movie would begin with the crew landing on the island the tournament takes place on as it's time to sign up for it. Luffy is considering entering so as to have some fun. As the crew is passing they come across some thugs causing trouble in a bar. They're quick to take care of them and an elderly onlooker recognizes Sanji's style as being similar to Zeff's. The man used to be Zeff's rival back in the day and has no respect for him. As the man continues to belittle Zeff, Sanji loses his cool. The man mentions that his best student is taking part in the tournament so Sanji asks Luffy to let him enter instead. The man laughs at Sanji, telling him how there's no way a student of Zeff could survive against some of the New World beasts that enter. Sanji brushes it off and signs up anyway.
The mayor of the island and owner of the tournament is the man's nephew. He makes a rule for this year's tournament that participants can only receive medical help from the tournament's own doctors or they'll be disqualified. The doctors are then privately informed not to fully patch up Sanji after his fights. This gives Chopper screen-time as he has to resist the urge to help his nakama and adds tension as Sanji has to go into his fights at least a little hurt while the student goes in practically fine. The crew get more and more worried for Sanji as the tournament goes on as it becomes more and more apparent that his injuries are catching up to him.
Sanji refuses to complain so as to spare Zeff's honor. We get some flashbacks of Sanji's time on the Baratie to help further establish how much Zeff means to him and thus see how hurtful the insults of Zeff truly are to him. Zoro starts snooping around and discovers the corruption of the tournament. During the final him and Luffy fight the mayor and his bodyguard (who are also students of Zeff's rival). Sanji's really hurt by this stage and the fight is completely in the student's favor. But Sanji keeps willing himself back up even though his body should be spent. Eventually, the tide of the battle starts to turn. To end the student goes for his best attack, as does Sanji (whether that be Hell's Memories or something else depends on when the movie is made). Sanji wins and Zeff's rival, his student, the mayor, and his bodyguard are arrested by the Marines for corruption. The crew managed to escape with the prize money. As Sanji struugles to even limp along, Zoro let's him lean against him saying 'Just this once' or something like that as a sign of respect for what he overcame. The final shot of the movie is of Zeff who reads about it in the paper and expresses that he's proud of Sanji.
Basically, this is just a movie to showcase the honorable badass fighter side of Sanji and his bond with Zeff. There's no womanizing or gags here. Just some of the deeper sides of his personality.
Love to see anything with Sanji but then it won't attract any fans besides Sanji's and it is bad for IRR.
