I thought we had a thread for this but I couldn't find it, maybe it was just talked about in various threads? Anyways thought to just be a tech demo at the PS4 reveal conference it's actually a full game. It's exclusive (so far, c'mon… it's Capcom) and it was just announced that it is also free to play. And like all other F2P games on PS4 it won't require PS+ either. But with it being Capcom and F2P it's pretty obvious how this is going to go...

I am keeping an eye on this it has me intrigued

Worrysome, frankly I don't trust Capcom or for that matter any other japanese company to get f2p right.
Even in the west most are failing miserably. Valve got it down right, but they've built up the infrastructure I don't think the same will be possible for capcom.
For one they probably don't give a fuck to provide the tools, two: it's on consoles, three: deep down is pretty elaborate visual wise not sure how a player driven f2p environment would go with that. For that same reason I have to wonder what the fuck they're going to sell anyway? Visuals might be pretty expensive, I'm fairly sure that creating a whole armor set might take more time than creating new hats for team fortress or similar.
So is it going to be boosts or pay to win? -
I wish all F2P would just follow a model of having a lump-sum option that unlocks everything necessary from the start. I hate the nickel-and-dimers.

As someone who was hoping this would essentially be a spiritual successor to Dragon's Dogma after that tech demo, nothing I've heard about this since has me feeling good about it.
