Hello, my name is Epsilon725. I've been watching anime for years, and my favourite characters are Luffy, Nami, Sanji, Ussop, Brook and Franky. I have a Youtube channel, I'm a self-taught pianist, and I regularly modify and hack games to make them harder, and more interesting. I'm also a self-taught writer, I've been a RPer for four years, and my dream is to become a best-selling novelist.I googled "One Piece Forum", found this site, and registered.When I was a kid, I used to tell my parents I was going out to play with my friends. I lied. I'm still surprised they bought that- I didn't have any friends when I was a kid. I was a serious-minded nerdy holier-than-thou athlete that didn't have time for friends. Too busy reading classical novels, while my classmates were still having trouble with Schoolchildren's books… Oxford Reading Tree, was it? Doesn't matter. Besides, I wouldn't be able to get friends anyway because I was the village pariah and scapegoat, but that's not important.Anyway: Instead of going out to play, I walked to town, went to the library, and spent the day reading in the library. I'd then go home when it was time, and I'd make up some story about playing with the other kids at their houses. And they bought that. For years. Me Gusta, Me Ussop/Robin-sta.When I saw One Piece, I think Robin's backstory touched me the most. It made me feel feels I wasn't aware I was capable of feeling. She might not be my favourite Straw Hat Pirate(I like her, but I like the others more), but her backstory made me feel more feels than the other backstories did. The other backstories did make me feel feels, but Nico Robin's made me feel the most feels.I will admit: I cried when The Straw Hat Pirates rescued Robin, Sogeking burned the flag, and Robin declared that she wanted to live.That - along with a certain other show about friendship, in which the purple one is best pony - has made me realise that I should try and get friends. Besides, one of the main reasons Light lost in the end was that he didn't have any friends left. I might not get friends as good as Robin's, but I would like to have friends anyway. I want to know what friendship feels like.

I learned how to mod only a few days ago. So far, I'd say my best mod would be the one my… ah... roommate and I made together.The game doesn't have a 2-player mode, so we made recruitable Companion versions of each other. This way, when we play, the other one will also be in the game, fighting by our side.

…Well, the question "How do I make my writing good/unique?" can't really be answered. It's too general. Instead you should just start writing it. Then, once you have a good chunk of it written, post it in the writing section here on the forums and ask for critiques. There are plenty of people here that know a thing or two about writing and would be happy to give you advice.

Methodology isn't going to make a "fanfic" unique. Ever. It's how you handle the content. And even then, with a fan fic, you have to be pretty damn clever to make it unique (and to this very day, I have yet to read a written fanfic that demonstrated this).

That depends on what you want to do I guess.

And how you write it.

Though original writing is always a far more rewarding effort.

Any pitfalls or cliches I should avoid? (Besides the obvious, like "Don't make the First Mate a Zoro-ripoff" and "Santoryu is off-limits for original characters unless they've trained on Zoro's island and have seen him fight at least once.)

If it's a Flash thing, try to remember that the Nintendo 3DS cannot handle Flash for some stupid reason.I should probably clarify: I do have some memories, but most just get condensed down into information to save space. Or something. Maybe I'm just the kind of guy that doesn't like remembering his past in full motion video.Anyway… My roommate has made a mod for an online friend. He's going to do a blind Let's Play of the game, with that mod active, soon. Did I mention the mod was made by my roommate? When it comes to game mods, she makes Ussop and Franky look sane. If it wasn't for the guy's lame laptop forcing filesize restraints on her mod, she'd probably put in some head-explodingly chocolate-rainingly crazy stuff.
